We loved our stay at Big Oak Bungalow! The location was perfect for driving and boating. We were able to bring our boat right up. Kids loved jumping and swimming on the Lily pad. The house was comfortable and spacious. The kids loved the downstairs and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We had a great stay and would definitely book this again. It rained a lot so it's great that we splurged on the house! Lots to do with ping pong, foosball, games, puzzles, books, hot tub and a great dock. We had a few recent high school grads with us and they loved every minute of it. Plenty of space. Quality construction and decor and plenty of room. The owners made sure it would accommodate our wifi needs which was really appreciated. We will be back!

Mollie, It was a pleasure hosting you and your family.
Sorry for the rain, but like you said, with a house like this it doesn't matter. Hope to host you again soon.
This home was perfect. Priscilla was absolutely amazing. She was the best hostess. Just a phone call away.
We had a great Thanksgiving week.

Big Oak Bungalow
We have no complaints or suggestions to make it better. We have stayed at Lake Lure for around 5 summers and no house or yard compares to this house. Parking was good, walk to lake was good - not like Lake Lure ( steep), we will be back next summer.
