The property had everything we needed to make it a great “home from home”. It is about 500 yards from the Old Village and about a 30 minute walk from Vilamoura marina. It looks out onto the golf course with great views. Effective air conditioning and decent pressure in the showers. Highly recommended

Équipement à rénover

Les choses qui vont pas; piscine à voir, clim , frigidaire, Vaiselles , les 2 douches bouchées et vis qui ressortent dans les bacs de douche , pas de wifi et pas de billard qui devait y être, accès au parking privé prévoir un 4x4 bref tous l’équipement à revoir. Par contre belle villa calme et bien située.

Ma réponse; regardez et comparez les commentaires de la famille suivante. Il est domage que certaines personnes ne regardent pas attentivement les photos et les déscriptions et attendent un Sofitel au prix d´un Ibis... nulle part on trouve WiFi ou billard annoncés. My reply: read and compare the the review of the next guests. It is regrettable that some people do not look closely to the pictures and the facilities and expect a Sofitel for the price of an Ibis ... nowhere are WiFi or billiards table annouced.

Old Village Vilamoura

The villa is in a lovely location within the Old Village. The villa is in need of some upgrading and needs a bit of TLC. The hot water system needs attention as the boiler would not run and the tank with the immersion heater could not provide six warm showers. The pool has a fair few tiles missing and the barbecue has seen better days. There is also an ants nest within the window on the landing that requires sorting. In general the villa needs a good deep clean as when we arrived it was felt by all of our party that it had not had anything more than a quick wipe over for a number of weeks. It is a real shame as when we last stayed two years ago the villa was in a lot better condition.

Thanks for your feedback, always helpful. The boiler, the tank and all the water heating system remain the same and neither these guests nor previous ones ever complained. This is a villa, not a hotel, the tank can not provide hot water for 6 (long?) showers in a row. I will redirect the review to the maintenance outsourced people to improve cleaning and pest control.
