Jardín Casa de campo 30 ¡Vamos a la playa! ¿Qué mejor manera de disfrutar de la buena vida que en un refugio de cabaña decorada con suaves pasteles suaves y decoración natural de la playa. Este 4 dormitorios, 3. 5 cabaña de baño está a sólo 50 pasos de nuestro centro de comodidades de millones de dólares, donde también acceder a la playa. Usted entra en esta casa a través de una hermosa cocina blanca, espaciosa y espaciosa equipada con electrodomésticos mejorados de acero inoxidable Bosch, una abundancia de espacio en el mostrador y una barra superior con asientos para 4 personas. Desde la cocina se encuentra una gran mesa de comedor con capacidad para ocho personas. El comedor fluye a la sala de estar, que tiene mucho espacio para estar en frente de la televisión de pantalla plana y chimenea de gas. El salón ofrece un fácil acceso a un porche filtrada y un espacio al aire libre cercado amueblado con una fogata, barbacoa, muebles de descanso y una mesa de comedor con capacidad para cuatro personas. El dormitorio principal, (KING) también en el primer piso, incluye una cama king size, vestidor y baño en suite con doble tocador y ducha de gran tamaño. Completar el primer piso es un medio baño y lavadero. Usted entra en el segundo piso a una zona de estar pintoresco con una televisión de pantalla plana, ideal para los niños. Desde allí encontrará tanto habitaciones como un dormitorio adicional. Ambas habitaciones tienen baño privado en suite, walk-in closets, y acceso al porche filtrada. Dos columpios y mecedoras hacen de este gran porche otra gran zona de relajación. El dormitorio adicional incluye dos camas plegables hechas especialmente para los más pequeños. Un garaje adjunto almacena un refrigerador, toallas de playa, paraguas y 6 sillas de playa para su uso. Hay dos plazas de aparcamiento en la entrada. Esta casa es el "Osprey" planta y tiene capacidad para 6 adultos y 2 niños pequeños.

Acceso a la playa: la continuación del Proyecto de Rehabilitación de Revestimiento de la Isla Jekyll en el estado de Georgia, ha resultado en la pérdida temporal del acceso a la playa al agua a lo largo de nuestra costa. Todavía hay acceso a la playa de marea alta, parte del revestimiento de la roca. Recomendamos Driftwood Beach, ubicada al norte de The Cottages o solo a unos minutos en auto al sur del área de Great Dunes Park.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 rental cottages for our family, each had different features but we were very close together so my grandchildren could visit often with their cousins, etc. We were close to many attractions and restaurants. Appreciated the chairs, toys for the beach days that were in the garage. Inside items were everything we needed for meals, toiletries, etc. Missed my TV in the bedroom, otherwise perfect accomodations

Garden Cottage at Jekyll

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Nice house but terrible gnat/fruit fly problem

The place itself was nice and spacious.l however there was a major gnat/fruit fly problem here that detracted significantly from our stay. We had to google what to do and go buy vinegar to set out bowls. This helped a little but they were everywhere. Even in the refrigerator. We couldn’t eat in the house bc they were everywhere. We had to go out to the screened porch to eat which was the only place they weren’t. It also rained most of the 4 days we were there which didn’t help the situation. Apparently gnats are an issue on the island itself because of the standing water in the marshes and the warm humid climate For that reason I could not recommmend the house or the island unfortunately.

Fun at Jekyll

Loved the condo! Beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, lovely screen porches. Very close to the pool. I would have loved a tv in the bedroom but it was fine. A beautiful home!

Peaceful and relaxing spot

Really like the property. Had everything you need for a week long stay. Screened in porches were incredibly enjoyable and we had a very relaxing long weekend on Jekyll. Will definitely be booking this property again in the future.

Porch swinging vacay!

The house was beautiful, clean and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor screened porch, very quiet and peaceful. Location was great, we would rent again and rent bikes for the week.

Great Trip!

The house was exactly what we needed and were looking for. It was a beautiful home, right next to the beach. Each morning it was low tide and we could walk along the beach looking for treasures and enjoying the sunrise. We could sit outside on the screened in porch and not be bothered by any flies. We would definitely come again! Thanks!

Slightly disappointed.

We had stayed in this home 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. That's why we went back. The home itsself was just as we remembered...great location, spacious and perfect for our family. We arrived late Friday evening. On Saturday we got up and noticed lots of fruit flies in the refrigerator. We called the property manager right away. She said she was going to text someone and they would call us within 30 minutes. She called back 30 minutes later to see if anyone called us and I told her no they had not. She said they are just fruit flies and they don't hurt anything. She asked if we could clean the refrigerator. At this point we had all our groceries so we cleaned the refrigerator and found many more fruit flies in the process. We called back on Sunday with no reply from anyone and the fruit flies returned. On Monday, someone came by to treat for the fruit flies. We were leaving on Tuesday so basically we dealt with the fruit flies the entire time we were there. We had no kitchen towels to dry dishes if needed. There was only one set of bath towels for each person. I feel like the home was stocked better 4 years ago. So we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. Hope they can resolve the management and stocking issues because otherwise it's a great place to stay.

Well kept and quiet community of townhomes

The community is a blend of rental visitors and permanent residents. All of the properties are well kept. The pool area is very nice and spacious with a pool house that has a pool table. The beach is only walkable at low tide on a calm day. We did have these little fruit fly looking bugs in the townhome but they are everywhere so it might just be something you have to deal with on your visit. I would not stay here if you were going to have a large group that was going to be loud. The permanent residents would not allow it. I would stay here again.

Overall nice, but beware of beach and appliances

Overall our family of 4 adults, 2 teens, and a toddler had a great time and we’re very comfortable. The townhome is close to the pool, clubhouse, and beach access. The upscale Bosch appliances were annoying: the fridge froze everything in the drawers and lower rack on the door. The dishwasher rack keeps coming off track. Using the toaster and coffee machine together blows the fuse. The fireplace did. not turn on despite some troubleshooting. The grill is old, nasty, and you have to use a flame to light it. The beach At the access gets swallowed up by high tide, so you have to go during low tide or drive 2 miles where there is more beach. While we were there we had to skip some beach days because the ocean water was a muddy consistency at the shore. Fortunately we had the pool to fall back in. The pool was great. The property is new, well-maintained, and very nice. The home has upscale finishes. The upstairs and downstairs porches are relaxing to hang out. Plenty of space and seating. Gas fire pit, fireplace, and grill are nice amenities. They supply a lot of nice cookware and utensils, but some were dirty or stained. The beds were all poor quality soft mattresses with no support and were very uncomfortable. Mostly just minor annoyances attributed to not being in our home, overall a real nice place.

Beautiful property and very close to pool and beach. Great for families with young kids. Make sure you check the tide times. There is no beach during high tide.

Long weekend summer getaway

Looking for a change of scenery we rented two of these town houses with family during the pandemic. We had beautiful kitchens to cook meals in and enjoyed time on the porches, at the pool and on the bike path. Would definitely come again. Thank you for sharing your homes!

Beautiful, higher end cottage.

Lovely, well appointed, family oriented cottage. The amenities like the fire pit, grill, floating swings/beds and the screened-in porches helped us reorient our family to talk, read and play. In an effort to oversee what kids are watching, I loved that the televisions are centrally located. The point of this house is to focus on conversation, rest, laughter and togetherness. I found myself reading on all 4 porches! Kids played football in sand and pool. Pool is lovely. Zero entry side is a plus. Truly one of our favorite spaces the family has ever shared for a vacation. And with COVID, it’s nice to be in your own space versus a hotel and its hundreds of shared spaces. Thank you! Wish the beach was there in the afternoons, but still great early in the morning.

Refrigerator

Slight malfunction in temperature of refrigerator ~ lost food from fluctuating temps. Froze and defrosted many times. Otherwise, the townhouse and neighborhood were wonderful.

Beautiful property - convenient to pool but limited beach access

We had a great stay Sept 2018 at the Cottages. Unfortunately for us, we learned the week before our travel that the beach access to the lower beach was being removed for our stay. This meant we had to travel to nearby beach access in order to access the beach. With two young kids in tow, this was a bit inconvenient and we may have changed our reservation had we known about this sooner. It meant we spent most of our week at the pool - which was just fine. The zero entry was great for our young kids and the facilities are exceptional. The cottage was beautiful and well-equipped for what we needed in our stay. Allison added a pack and play for our youngest for only $25 for the week, which was also great. The lack of beach access was a pretty big bummer - we could've been anywhere with only a pool, but the facilities here are some of the nicest on Jekyll Island. My advice: check on the construction schedule for the beach access and find a time when you can actually get down to the ocean.

Great Family Vacation

What a beautiful home. We didn't want to leave and go back to reality after a week's stay. The pool and beach access was perfect. Loved the double swings on the top porch, in fact I took a nap on one. Would definitely consider renting again.
