Hermosa unidad, tres cubiertas privadas para relajarse. Garaje para dos carros para estacionamiento seguro y cubierto. Cocina totalmente equipada con refrigerador, estufa, microondas, lavaplatos, triturador de basura, platos, ollas y sartenes. TV con cable, VCR y reproductor de DVD. El dormitorio principal tiene un área de baño privado, con cama king size y TV en la habitación. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama tamaño queen, mesa auxiliar y una cómoda, el tercer dormitorio tiene un juego de gemelos con una cómoda. Pisos laminados de madera en la sala de estar y comedor, alfombras arriba en las habitaciones. Al otro lado de la calle está la playa con millas de arena blanca y agua verde esmeralda azul. El complejo tiene una piscina climatizada y un spa, y un sendero escénico que conduce a una relajante terraza para observar a los pelícanos y los delfines, y tal vez hacer algo de pesca.

Steps to the beach and pool

We had an amazing stay at this property. This was our fifth time in the area over the last 7 years, but our first staying in this complex. The area had been hit hard with 2 hurricanes back to back less than 90 days before our planned arrival. The communication with property management throughout the cleanup effort was easy, quick and helpful. They were confident that the complex would be ready for guests by the time we arrived so they delayed final payment to allow for them to confirm the property readiness. The beaches had opened about a month before we came down. Both the complex and unit were very clean. Unit was well stocked with towels for bath and pool/beach. Kitchen had the essentials for our needs (plenty of pots/pans/knives/plates etc). Good amount of cleaning and laundry supplies as well. We were thrilled that the beach was literally across the street, not even an 2 minute walk, and cars usually stopped for pedestrians waiting to cross. The pool also only took a minute to walk to, and it was heated! And the hot tub was lovely too.We were blessed with sun and warm weather for our week here and can’t wait to come back. There’s still rebuilding efforts going on across the area but most of the bars and restaurants that are walkable from the property have reopened, some with limited menu or reduced staff. It’s just a matter of time before things are back in full swing but there’s plenty to do, see, shop and eat that has come back already.

Needs maintenance Tell us about

Love the location of this property. So convenient to the beach, the pool was well-maintained. The layout of the townhome is perfect. However, we had a lot of issues. Upon arrival, the keypad did not work. Property manager was quick to respond and we had access to a key. We replaced batteries-problem solved. There were a lot of issues throughout the unit. Air filter on ac unit was so filthy that the vent above bed in master had gross dust collected around it. Vacuum was so clogged that it wouldn’t work. Stove was clean on the surface but under/sides were horrible. Property manager sent maintenance to replace filter, clean stove, throwaway the disgusting pans and brought new ones. A replacement vacuum was brought in 4 days into our 7 day stay. The blinds throughout the unit were broken. Honestly this unit has potential but someone needs to go in and give it a lot of tlc.

Excellent Property Management

We really enjoyed our stay this year. We’ve been to AMI three years in a row and this was my favorite place, so far. Plenty of room for our family. Maybe a two minute walk to the beach.

Great location

Really enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for access to beaches, and walking distance to dinning and entertainment. Unit had couple minor maintenance items. Blinds need repair, toaster update. But nothing to affect our stay.

The location PERFECT! House was good, probably the only negative is the air conditioning, some evenings were warm. However, we plan on staying at location again.

Worth it!

Nice place, great location! Only confusing part was the new TVs’ remotes were missing so no easy volume control or sleep timers, old cable boxes still there, but not functional and no directions on how to use the new system.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Bermuda Bay Club. The condo was perfect for our escape from winter. We had a problem with a leaky toilet and our host was very quick to respond and sent someone out to repair at soon as he could. Minor things to note….no laundry soap or dishwasher detergent, no garbage bags either. But otherwise a lovely place to spend your week! Close to the beach, Bridge street and a lovely little pool that the kids loved! Would definitely stay here again!

Place was fine but a little dated

Inside could use a facelift as there were watermarks on the kitchen ceiling. Furniture is a little bit old. Bed in master bedroom is a bit uncomfortable. No ceiling fans in all bedrooms upstairs. Location was great as it was a short walk to bridge street and easy beach access.

AMI Vacation

The location is great. We visit AMI each summer and have stayed at Bermuda Bay Club at least 7 visits. We normally rent through Island Vacation Properties. This unit was generally comparable to others where we have stayed, but the upstairs is HOT. There are strict instructions not to set the air below 74 degrees or the unit will freeze and you will pay for damages. The thermostat said 74 but it did not feel like 74 upstairs. I saw others had similar issues with the air in past reviews. It would help if ceiling fans were installed in the 2 smaller bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a fan. It was definitely nice to have a garage door opener that worked. Overall the place was fine with exception of the air conditioning. The views are nice and it’s a great location

Dirty Accommodations but Great Location

The accommodations were disgusting. The condo was extremely dusty, had dirty pots & pans, silverware had a sticky residue, and the hall shower had mildew. There were no fans in two of the rooms except one small, extremely loud, floor fan that had dust caked on it. The thermostat said it was 74 degrees but it never felt cool. One room had a small lamp but no other light at night. It was dark enough we turned our phones on to see to get ready for bed. The dryer broke halfway through our stay. The downstairs sliding door wouldn't lock. I was told to put something between it and the wall but couldn't find anything. That left hundreds of dollars of rods & reels easily accessible. It also left thousands of dollars of other fishing gear accessible. If I was staying in a motel, I'd expect it but for what we paid it was sub par. The property manager didn't seem to care although he made an effort to address some of the issues. We won't stay there again...ever!

Okay at best

This house over all was okay. I mainly enjoyed it due to the proximity of the beach other than that the house it self wasn’t much. The house from the moment we walked in didn’t feel as clean as it should have been probably due to the fact that the owners want the previous guests to do part of the cleaning prior to departure. The beds were incredible hard and uncomfortable. As well as none of the rooms have built in lights or fans so you only have a little lamp to work with in the evenings. The tv only had 10 local channels at best and the WIFI practically didn’t work. Overall this home needs major work all the closets were full of random items such as each bedroom closets full of extra linens and the pantry had a random toilet bowl cleaner and light fixtures. Rick was great when the house didn’t come equipped with a hose to rinse all the sand off before entering the home by the next morning there was a hose at the front door for me which i appreciated.

A Disappointment

We have stayed on AMI 4 other times with another rental company and compared to those properties #1463 was a great disappointment. The first thing we saw we when arrived was the garage which was a huge mess of junk (old tvs, old carpeting, beach chairs that were old, etc). Not a good impression for your first visual of the condo. The stairs are very narrow and you have to put your feet sideways on the stairs to go up and down. In fact, my husband fell down the stairs from the bedroom level to the main level. Fortunately he only fell the last 5 steps. The furniture is very outdated!! The fridge was small and barely kept our food/drinks cool. There was rust on the stove. The dryer knob to turn it on kept falling off and was being held in place by paper between it and the dryer. The flooring in the living room area in front of the sliding door is green and cracked in numerous places. The sliding door to the back deck has moisture in between the panes. The cabinets in the kitchen were full of opened food that especially in this day and age none of us would ever use. Throw it away! We spoke with others staying in different units and they were shocked to hear that our unit was below average. I would think that an owner would want to keep their unit in top condition to keep people coming back to rent again. The best thing about the unit was the view and how close it was to the beach!!!

Softball Tournament Stay Turned Family Vacation

Overall our stay was great! The beach is right across the street! The pool was very close to our unit & nice! Hot tub at the pool was pretty hot! The property is close to SO MUCH (gift shops, other beaches, activities, restaurants, other shopping, just across the bridge 10-15 mins). The only things I would complain about was the property wasn't as clean as it should be, there was dirt in the corners of the living room, some mold on the side of the refrigerator door, the floor is broken {covered by a rug} right by the sliding glass door to enter the main balcony; several of the sliding doors are really hard to open/close {especially the 1 in the garage & the main bedroom upstairs to it's balcony}; we couldn't enter the garage w/the keypad {but it could be we was doing something wrong}; there is ONLY a couple {LITERALLY maybe 2 or 3} tv channels so we had to watch the SAME shows EVERY day/night for 10 days; the DVD player could NOT be connected to the main TV downstairs; the AC is only allowed to be set NO lower than 74 which still was pretty warm in the unit considering the temps outside were over 105° (between 110°-112°) most days & it even quit working but I called the Property Manager (Rick) & he was quick to call someone to come fix it {it did take the repairman over an hour to get there bc his last job took a little longer than expected but he still made it} but the repairman was supposed to come back to put a new filter in & I don't think he did as there was usually someone at the unit at all times for the most part & noone remembers him coming back w/a filter & I'm pretty sure the AC quit working again the day we left bc it started getting really warm in there again; the beach chairs/accessories that are at the unit to be used could really be replaced or a very good cleaning bc they had mold on them & was dirty as well. Also, if you or someone who will be w/you has trouble w/stairs or breathing or bad back/hips/knees, THIS UNIT IS NOT for you! There are QUITE a few stairs & we had a really hard time w/them (we had a Stage 4 Lung Cancer patient, a person w/severe breathing issues & a person w/a really bad back/hips/knees) & the steps just about killed us lol. BUT OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND this unit, especially if Rick can get the small issues I mentioned above fixed, this unit is a nice unit! Rick is also usually really quick to respond to questions &/or calls! Thank you Rick for all your help! I'm missing Florida already!

We rented this 3 bedroom condo for spring break and absolutely loved it. Very clean, comfortable and it is a perfect location. We would stay again!

Beautiful Island Vacation

This was a killer location lots of things to do within a hour (Mote Aquarium, Tampa Zoo, Mayakka State Park, etc). The beach is maybe a 100 yards from the rental, intercostal waterway is maybe a 100 yards the opposite way on a beautiful boardwalk, etc. Great pool and hot tub for days when its windy or too cold. The beach was very clean and nice :). There were some minor downsides; the neighbors directly across the street were partying which makes it difficult to get little ones to sleep, there was some obvious water damage around the windows probably from the last hurricane. Sugar ants in the kitchen which was easily remedied by keeping sweets in the fridge.

Easter Break Stay

Our family of five had a great time at Bermuda Bay. The unit had so much room and was well equipped by the owner. We drove from New York and not having to bring beach chairs and blankets was a plus. The property was excellent. Many families that were very friendly. Made good use of the pool and barbecues. Wish the water off the dock was a little deeper, would have made for better fishing. The location was excellent. Right across the street was a public beach, which kept the water views open from the balconies. Many restaurants and the downtown area was within walking distance. Grocery store was minutes away. Would definitely go back.
