The location was great. The view was amazing. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the living room struggled to keep it cool. The timer for the air conditioning in the bedroom clicked while trying to sleep. The timer is set to approximately a 4 hour range and shut off in the middle of the night causing the bedroom to be warm. The air conditioner in the bedroom was very loud when it kicked on and ran. It woke us up from sleep. I rate this rental very high, and we have stayed at many condos in Kihei. I would rate it excellent if the air conditioning situation were improved, but even so, we would 100% stay here again.

This is our original condo that we were supposed to stay in from 4-22 Oct but it had some scheduled maintenance during the first week of our stay but thanks to Rentals Maui we stayed in another condo down the road until all the work was done. Rentals Maui really made our stay more pleasant by being friendly and keeping us informed !!!

Super cute and nice location

This was an amazing property. The location was perfect. I think we are at over 10 different food trucks. :-). The condo was clean and just the right size. They had great amenities to bring to the beach. I would 100% stay here again.

Great location and condo!

We've stayed at this condo building in the past but not this unit. This one is fabulous! Everything about this home away from home makes you feel comfortable and has whatever you will need. A bonus is the mattress is oh, so comfortable! The view is top notch, you can walk to great food and shopping. Or simply walk a few feet to the beach!

Excellent Location!

Super nice condo with comfortable bed and fans that worked superbly. This location is across from Cove beach where you can sit on the balcony and watch the surfers, volleyball and most importantly, THE SUNSET!! Favorite area of Kihei. Definitely will not be disappointed with this condo!

Only thing was the sofa bed wasn't comfortable to sit on and the air conditioner has a timer with a 3-hour limit so you have to get up in the middle of the night to restart it. Nice condo in a great location!

Location is just the best, walkable to most of the best food places, parks and beaches! Nicely updated, for the most part had all the basics. The bed is average and furniture is also average. If you are looking for a great location and somewhat up to date condo with all the basics covered, this is the one!

Very well organized and equipped. Besides all available in the kitchen including a starter kit for dishwasher and laundry also beachchairs, umbrella, snorkling equip. Etc etc. We had a wonderful stay!

A Comfortable Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in January. The pros: fabulous location in easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery store, South Maui Garden, very clean unit, decent price. The only con is the daytime traffic noise on Kihei Rd. It is loud during the day. It does calm down nicely at night and sleeping was not a problem.

Magical stay in Maui

Loved our stay in this place. Very well located, fully equiped (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen appliances), with the convenience of offering beach chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrella, etc. Definitely would recommend and go back to this apartment!

Wonderful location and view!

Vacation was awesome and the accommodations were perfect. Whale watched from balcony and was within walking distance to snorkeling, eateries, park and walking trail. Easy access to highway to see other parts of the island. Easy commute to and from airport.

Ocean view in a great location!

This condo was truly amazing. Tons of parking, easy access, and conveniently located close to a ton of restaurants and bars. Make sure you stop by Foodland and try the 8 different kinds of poki they sell! I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be staying here when I come back. Every unit has a balcony with a view of the ocean and we definitely took advantage of it!

Superb spot, love the view and vibe!

Wonderful condo, quiet and clean with superb views of the park and water. Perfect location in Kihei near the stores and restaurants; lots of parking and a spacious condo with all the utilities. Air con was great in both main rooms, tv and kitchen area also spot on. The pool area is fantastic too - we had everything we needed for a great stay and would love to come back! Mahalo!

Nice Kihei Stay

There were lots of pros staying at this location. The condo was well stocked with kitchen and laundry supplies. Beach chairs and snorkeling equipment were also provided. The condo was clean and had a nice view of the neighboring park and ocean. A supermarket and eateries were also in easy walking distance. There usually was a nice ocean breeze, thus we did not turn on the room air conditioners that were available. The bed was a bit soft, but comfortable. In terms of personal preference, since we did have the windows open the whole time, there was the street noise from S. Kihei Road that wasn't terrible, but noticeable. If you want walking distance to sand, this location doesn't have that. We did reach out to the property management company regarding a non-functioning ice maker in the freezer. We did get a prompt call back and supposedly they checked to see if there was an issue. Other than turning off the ice maker, we did not get any feedback whether it was broken or if there wasn't a water line to the freezer. Not a showstopper, but it would have been nice to receive closure. In general, we really liked the condo itself and the amenities that were provided. No general complaints and would consider staying at this location again.

Best of Maui

Our stay at island surf 502 was excellent. The view was beautiful and the condo was incredibly comfort le all around. The location gave us easy access to all activities around the island. It is within two short blocks of several excellent restaurants and a really fun food truck garden. Very minor inconveniences were that the bathroom could get very warm and the curtains in the bedroom did not do a great job blocking the light from the hallway and parking lot. We would absolutely stay here again!
