Fantastic Host and Accommodations!

Our Host Karen was fantastic! She was in communication with us on a regular basis to make sure everything was good with us. The condo was exactly as described and in a great location near 5th Avenue, the beach and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend some quality time in Playa del Carmen.

I spent 5 nights at this property and I can’t think of one complaint. The property is clean, well stocked, and simply beautiful. The location is prime. The host, Karen, went above and beyond to ensure we had information to make our time in Playa Del Carmen was enjoyable. I will not hesitate to book this unit again.

Excellent communication with the host. Very good location right near 5th Avenue snd s 5 minute walk to the beach! Very clean and modern. Wonderful, large outdoor area! Pictures show exactly what it looks like in real life. Very safe! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful Getaway

We are two women snowbirds who needed an escape from everything winter and we found paradise in this beautiful home! The condo is lovely with a great rooftop pool, great security, and helpful people. We loved the beautiful beaches, the great food and drinks at all the cool restaurants and exploring the 5th Ave shops. Thank you Karen for sharing your wonderful home and all the details you provided. We hope to return again!

Fantastic Location

Everything was just as advertised. My husband and I were having such a good time that we invited our daughter and her boyfriend for the last 2 nights. Everyone enjoyed the comfort of the condo and had everything needed in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. Karen was a great communicator and provide lots of details to enhance our trip experience. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Amazing and fabulous!!

The location is superb to the beach and fifth Avenue. Many fabulous restaurants in walking distance. You don’t need a car to get around. Karen was very responsive via email with any questions we had. The pool was a great bonus. If you choose to go to the beach, there is a water faucet outside the entrance so you can rinse your feet. Highly recommend this property.

Loved it!

This unit it’s perfect! Location is amazing close to Mamitas beach club, it’s super safe with 24hr. Security. The building is new with a beautiful rooftop pool, where you can order drink from the bar. I would totally stay there again! Karen was always ready to help and answer questions or resolve any issues.

Great space and Great location

This condo was perfect for our Playa del Carmen trip. It is very spacious, has a nice layout and had all we needed in the kitchen that we needed. The condo is just off of 5th Ave and a short walk to the beach which was great. Karen is a great host and was super responsive to our (many!) questions and needs, including responding right away when asking for a restaurant recommendation. Karen also provided a guide for us including check-in and check-out instructions, restaurant / bar recommendations, wi-fi instructions in the condo, how to get to the condo from the airport, etc. This guide was extremely useful and we used it every day!!! Check in/out was super easy too!! We could watch Netflix at night as we didn’t feel like staying out late every night. There was a washing machine and dryer that worked great too. We also found the price to be really reasonable for the great location and amenities. Would stay there again when we return! Thank you again, Karen, for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!! Excellent vacation property. Had everything you need - very comfy beds, 2.5 bathrooms with 2 hot showers, spacious kitchen, dining, and family room area. A/C works well in both bedrooms and the main living area and is much needed, because the environment is humid. Loved the privacy of the unit, but there were rental tenants next door that were noisy until 2-3 a.m. most nights. Tenants on the other side of the unit may have been owners who spoke spanish until 2 a.m. most nights on the patio. The patio for this unit is joined by a high pony wall outside next to the outside dining table, so you could hear all of their conversations until wee hours of the morning. Would recommend you bring ear plugs, if you're a light sleeper. Also, the front desk folks are only there for building maintenance and security, they are not there to service anything related to this condo as stated in the property ad. If you prefer a hotel with building service, this is not it. The front desk folks speak no english and couldn't help us with any info. Besides the unit having all the creature comforts, the best part about the unit is the location the beach, restaurants, and the main shopping on the strip. It's a 5 minute walk to everything you might need. I would highly recommend this property if you're looking for a beach vacation with plenty of shopping and dining. Note that the area is typically very crowded because of the white sandy beaches & nice weather. We were there in December.

We love Playa del Carmen and have been coming to the Riviera Maya since 2004 for our yearly vacations. When the opportunity arose to get involved with a new development project we jumped on it. Cruz Con Mar is in a great location, one street over from the beach and one street from bustling 5th Avenue. Cruz Con Mar is off the beaten path on a dead end street which means it remains very quiet at night.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The building is brand new June 2018, with gorgeous views and architecture. The roof top swimming pool is a quiet oasis with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea as well as the Island of Cozumel.

The location is perfect as you are steps away from lively 5th Avenue for shopping and dining, steps from Mamitas Beach, but you are tucked away in the mangroves at the end of a quiet dead end street where you awaken to the sounds of exotic birds chirping and the ocean crashing below.
