We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and views were amazing, as pictured. The place was very clean as well. Our only complaints were that the listing stated that there was a hair dryer and there was not and we were not provided with a beach access gate code, however when we contacted the management we were provided with one immediately. We would definitely stay here again!

Also, I really have to compliment Benchmark Management. They were so accommodating! Every time I called them, a real live person answered the phone and immediately took care of every question or issue that we had. I will definitely be using them again for my next trip!

Beautiful views, spartan amenities

View and location was as advertised--amazing. Property was not very well stocked. No filters for coffee maker, no dishwasher tabs, no dish soap, no Kleenex, etc. Basic things that everyone needs (pizza cutter, etc) were not there and had to be bought or brought.

overall good 30A beach stay

This is a beautiful condo with fantastic views of the beach. We all enjoyed the spacious living areas, bedrooms, and balcony. There's easy access to the beach. The unit did NOT have extra paper towels, toilet paper, or trash bags (other than what was in place on check-in day), so we ran short on those supplies in last few days of stay. The kitchen was missing a cutting board. The management company was very communicative throughout, but the office was closed during regularly posted office hours on our check-out day. This was unfortunate, since the company doesn't allow late check-out and a few of us needed to store our luggage d/t a late flight. Overall good stay with a few minor snags.

Pest control was supposedly performed the Monday of our stay. I would consider it in adequate. In calling your phone number, there was invariably a request to leave a message. It would be nice to speak to a human at our convenience rather than yours.Otherwise a delightful experience at a beautiful place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here summer of 2022 and were excited to return. Unfortunately, our second experience was not as we expected. Day one we spotted a roach in the dishwasher and continued to see several more on the kitchen counters and in the cabinets. They began to get into our personal items as well. The bunk room smelled strongly of mildew. When we called about the roach problem the management company responded through text. They said they were calling an exterminator and would let us know when they would arrive. The exterminator never came. We would not recommend this facility.

Leftover items from previous guests, unclean, bug infested, worn out furniture and appliances, only two hangers for three closets, bathroom drains clogged, no lid in the kitchen trash can, dirty pillows, mismatched and worn out plates, cups, etc.. Too many maintenance issues to mention. This condo is not worth what we paid.

Got more than we bargained for...

Reviewer Comments: We have been booking through Benchmark Management(Garrett Realty) for a very long time and haven't had any issues till this past visit staying at Sago Sands 402. We experienced several roaches over our stay and the issue was not addressed till midweek when the pest control company finally came out. The inspector even said this was the 1st call hes had with our unit for the week which was odd due to the fact of me reporting/calling the office beginning Monday only to be told someone would get to us. I would seriously question the cleaning guidelines are there were several dead roaches behind and around the fridge that were not attended to.Other than the uninvited guests we had a great time as usual. Hopefully, the cleaning guidelines are adhered to going forward.

The views are amazing. The living/dining space is very spacious. We loved the location.

The rental process was seamless. The property management people were accessible with questions we had concerning tropical storm Fred. Overall great experience. The only negative was we did see some live bugs in the kitchen and the elevator was broken the day we were checking out.

Cruise Ship Condo

Reviewer Comments: Great view...called it the Cruise Ship Condo because from the kitchen and living room you feel like your on a cruise ship however...there were some unwanted castaway guests (roaches). Layout is great and accommodated our group and like that there are only 8 condos at the entire property. Beach is crowded at all. Even though there is a pool on property, it is in the parking lot which is kind of odd. This particular condo is a bit dated and would benefit from some updates. Location is great and the Benchmark property managers were attentive every time we called but had numerous complaints and calls about how dirty the unit was and the amount of roaches in the kitchen in the cabinets and drawers and all though it was compensation was offered for the poor conditions and the inconveniences.

Worst Beach acation ever

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so looking forward to our beach vacation this year. The unit at Sago Sands was beautiful, but the rest of the experience was miserable. Due to beach restorations, there was constant noise during our entire 2 week stay. A conveyor belt was parked right outside our bedroom which ran from 7:30 in the am until 5 everyday except on weekends. Dump trucks would arrive at 7:30 everyday to dump huge loads of sand in the parking lot next door which would be followed by a loud bang of the tailgate. The dump trucks, loaders, and bulldozers remained working on the beach right below our unit moving back and forth constantly. I realize that this work needed to be done; however, we would have expected notification prior to our visit, and an offer to change condo complexes or dates which was always done under Garrett Realty. After speaking with 2 property managers, the rental manager, and numerous others, we have yet to hear back re some kind of compensation for our inconvenience. To pay as much as we did to stay for 2 weeks without even a return call to attempt to work this out, I feel the need to warn everyone about using Benchmark properties. Although everyone I spoke with agreed that this was poorly handled, no one has been willing to step up and do the right thing. After over 10 years of renting through Garrett/Benchmark, we will no longer give them our business. So disappointing!

Nice location but needs cleaning/update

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great and the small complex was nice and quiet. The walk to the beach was short. However, the unit needs a deep cleaning/serious update and stove needs repairs, the microwave over the oven doesn’t work at all but a second one is on the counter. We had to call maintenance for a few issues upon arrival that were quickly addressed. The stairwell needs a good sweeping and power washing as does the balcony. The view from the balcony is wonderful but the furniture is disappointing and dirty on the balcony.
