Great Location!

This condo was perfect for my family of four. It had plenty of space, was adequately stocked with kitchen supplies, and the washer and dryer were wonderful to have on vacation. The kids enjoyed their own room with twin beds and private tv. The master bed was comfy and clean. We did notice that the floor in the condo was sticky and could have used a good mopping. We wore socks at night to walk around the condo, and they were brown by bedtime. Overall, this condo was just what we needed. It was so close to the beach which was great. The beach was not crowded and beautiful. The chair rental was included and was very nice.

Relaxing beachfront paradise

100% recommend this condo. Nice decor, clean and AMAZING view of the beach from the living room, primary bedroom & balcony. Well appointed and loved the beach chair service included during our April stay. Beach towels were not provided, so we will bring our own next time. Very close proximity to Seaside.

Very easy access to the on site pool and to the beach. Chairs and umbrella were set up daily. Extremely ideal for a nice getaway!We did have a few issues:Primary bathroom rug had not been washed in a long timePrimary bedroom is in desperate need of a new mattressPillow cases were stained. We re-washed just in case. Had extra pillows but could not find extra cases.Primary bathroom sink was not draining quickly. Towels in bathrooms were very thin and scratchy. Bed sheets were scratchy and not great quality. Could not get cable box in primary bedroom to work.There was some black debris around air vent in living room. Regardless of all of this, we would definitely stay here again and hope that some of these issues would get addressed before next time!

Loved this Unit!

It has an induction cooktop and the curtain rod fell down every time you touched it (in primary bedroom) but other than that it was perfect for what we needed.

Great but cleanliness could be improved

I had read recent reviews complaining of the cleanliness at arrival so I reached out to the property management regarding this. I was ensured that the place would be perfectly clean. When we arrived, we found 10-12 live and dead bugs on the ceiling and floors around the place. I reported this immediately and was told thank you for my patience. No one came to do anything. I continued to get automated questions for feedback and how our stay was, but no real person would act regarding our arrival experience. The rest of the stay was great, but given my assurance of a clean arrival which didn’t happen and then nothing from it, I would not look at stay with Benchmark again.

Great location, so-so value

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Experienced user of VRBO for a decade. This property is managed by a company you will have immediate assistance from. My issue is that the unit was on the higher end of pricing due to the 'stunning' remodel in an old condo building, yet the floors turned out feet black and there was not a stitch of kitchen items (no napkins, no salt/pepper, oil, nada). This is becoming more frequent with large management companies I'm sure. I would pay more next time for a high level VRBO with more than 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. Chincy is what I would describe it as. You just need to bring everything you might need so plan on driving or hitting the grocery store for toilet paper.

One complaint this year was that the TV in the master bedroom would not connect to internet so we couldn’t stream. The TV is the spare bedroom did not work at all. After a long day on the beach, we like to relax with some TV. We sent concerns but could not get any assistance from management. The condo amenities other than the TV were great!

Loved being so close to the beach and especially liked that the chairs and umbrella were included with the rental. Only issue is the condo smells like mold and is very damp. A friend was staying one floor up and her condo did not have this issue. They may need to install a humidifier or something. We kept the door closed as sign stated yet the place always felt damp. And the smell was stronger in the guest bathroom/bedroom.

Perfect Girls' Weekend

The rental was clean, beautifully decorated, and provided all of the amenities we would need for our weekend stay. We were minutes from the beach and once on the beach, we were able find beach chairs with an umbrella. At one point, there was a major rain, and the property manager texted us to move our car to higher spot in parking lot and also dropped off batteries for our tv remote. I would absolutely return to this rental unit. The location was ideal for our group-we drove to most spots but a person easily could have walked or rented bikes to get around.

Did not have enough linens for 4 people to take a shower! I was told condo does not come with washcloths to bathe with. Also management refused to reimburse my cleaning fee. Would not recommend this unit if this management company can not take care of what they are paid to do!!

Great unit at Beachcrest

We’ve stayed at Beachcrest several times in different units. The location was good (not over the pool) and there is a great view of the yard and beach. The itself has been updated, so the overall aestetic is clean and modern. Lots of storage in the kitchen and main bedroom so bonus for that! There were a few things that needed to be repaired when we arrived (mainly the door to the laundry was broken, and there was a large suspicious stain on one of the barstools 🙂). I was a bit disappointed that the property managers didn’t even acknowledge my feedback or offer to repair, but neither were a huge deal and definitely didn’t impact our great vacation. I would for sure recommend and would stay there again! You can’t go wrong with Beachcrest.
