Coastal Condo with Amazing View & Beach Access

This beautiful condo is located in the amazing Gulf Place area, filled with shops and restaurants just downstairs and a private beach access just across the street. With its coastal charm, we know that you and your family will enjoy coming back home after a day on the beach or playing in one of the various pools in the community. Kids of all ages find plenty of fun with 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, tennis courts, pickle ball, corn hole boards, shuffleboard, creative art activities for children, and other events all at Gulf Place.

What’s Nearby?

The short answer to that is… EVERYTHING! But here are some of our favorite things to do!

We love how close it is from our front door to the beach! It’s just across the street with a private beach access!!! This makes toting beach wagons, chairs, rafts, kids, and everything else a breeze!

Just a short walk to some wonderful Gulf Place restaurants, including Perfect Pig, Shunk Gulley, Cava and Cakes, Pizza by the Sea, the Subshack and much more!

There is a bike trail just steps from our front door. This bike trail stretches for over 18 miles to the east where you can explore Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Seaside and more. There are several wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars along the way! Be sure to look for our comprehensive list of things to do during your stay.

San Destin has a wonderful outdoor mall and is just a 15 minute car ride away! It is a wonderful area with shops, amazing restaurants, a movie theater, and several golf courses. The Baytowne Wharf is also in that area and has great night life, including the popular piano bar, Rum Runners!

Property was less than clean. Totally disorganized kitchen with last guests boxes on fridge and in hall. We love the location and have stayed at Gulf Place dozens of times. This owner needs to replace the furniture as slip covers are mismatched and dirty. Linens are threadbare and dirty cleaning rags were left in bedroom.

Cute condo with great access to beautiful beaches across the street. Restaurants are great...especially Skunk Gulley, we had a great grouper meal! Sharon, the owner/manager was wonderful to work with and VERY responsive! We had a great time!

My sister and I are Florida natives, and this spot in Destin was perfect for us! The location was awesome and super close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The condo was very clean, as was the pool, and the whole area felt well taken care of. We had such a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay!

Condo was very clean, well appointed and very close to beach, shops and many restaurants! We loved how walkable this area is. There were sand toys, boogie boards, chairs and an umbrella so be sure to check out what’s available at the condo before you do your beach shopping! My children loved the bunk room and are already asking when we’re returning. Communication with the owner was excellent, as well. Highly recommend!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Nice view, easy access to the beach. If we had questions, our contact person was easily accessible and nice. The only problem was the linens need to be replaced. Although they were clean, one of the sheets had a stain and a few of the towels had stains on them. Other than that, the unit was great.

Wonderful location

Property was clean, location to beach and wonderful restaurants steps away. Perfect in every way. Condo is extremely small but for two adults it was fine. We would return again.

Easter Beach Vacation

Our stay at this beach condo was nothing short of perfect. We were blown away by the stunning views of the ocean—sunrises and sunsets from the balcony were absolutely magical.The condo itself was perfect. It had all the essentials—plus a few thoughtful extras. You’ll find beach towels & comfortable beach chairs.What truly set this experience apart was the host. So kind, responsive, and genuinely welcoming—she made us feel right at home and offered great local tips that made our trip even more special.The direct beach access was amazing—just a quick stroll across the street and you’re on soft, white sand that feels like your own private paradise. The beach was peaceful, pristine, and blissfully uncrowded. The surrounding area is equally delightful, with a variety of charming, walkable restaurants and local shops just steps from the condo.We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this gem!

Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops

The property manager was the hostess with the mostest. She responded promptly when I had questions. She had wonderful suggestions for food and activities. The condo overlooks the pool and you have a glimpse of the Gulf. The grounds of the complex are well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we are return to Santa Rosa Beach.

Wonderful condo even better owner

We had the pleasure of staying here in March 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Situated near the beach with convenient access to a heated pool, shops, and restaurants, it offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owner was exceptionally responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this property without hesitation

Amazing condo with a great host

We loved Sharon’s condo. It was perfect for the 4 of us. Clean, cozy and updated. Sharon was always quick to respond if we needed anything at all. We only needed her help once to get the internet router rebooted. She was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommended Cabana 304 and we would stay here again!!

Great place in a great town

Place was exactly as advertised and better. Well stocked close to restaurants, the beach and between many cool little beach towns. Would definitely recommend this condo and owner.

Couples trip

Overall the stay was good. Communication with the owners was quick with some minor issues. Location is great and convenient for beach and restaurants. Condo is clean and well furnished. Only complaint is the air doesn’t go below 72 (which is stated in the agreement) but that does tend to feel much hotter when it’s humid in the summer. Would return though.

Great condo

This was our second year in a row in this condo and we had another great trip! It's clean, comfortable, close to several restaurants, close to shopping, and within walking distance of the private beach. You can also see the beautiful 30A water from the balcony. And the host is extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

Another great stay at Gulf Place Cabanas

We've stayed at many condos at Gulf Place through the years, and this newly renovated one is among the best. There is a partial sea view, which others don't always have due to development across the street. We had great communication with the owner, the bed and new bathroom were great. The unit comes with a beach umbrella and multiple chairs, as well as beach toys for little ones. We always prefer the low-key atmisphere of Santa Rosa Beach, rather than busier sections of 30A. This development has 2 pools, tennis courts, corn hole and shufflebord, as well. Lots of activities, but the best is having the beautiful beach just across the street.

We wanted a family friendly area that wasn’t a high rise, a complex with an elevator, view, pool and close to the beach. We were also searching for a. place that would allow us to walk for a cup of coffee or have a nice dinner and not drive. Guess what? We found it, and would love for others to enjoy our little beach getaway. Also known as, Mikes Castaway Cay!
