House was great. It had everything we needed and plenty of room. The only issue was that it wasn’t cleaned very well. There was a used paper towel left on the dresser downstairs, smears on the mirrors, the toilet was dirty, the floors were dirty.

2025 Beach Trip

The only issue was that the recycling didnt come to pick up. But other than that great experience!

Was a nice fit for our family. Could use more furniture, rocker recliners in both living areas would be nice. Kitchen was great, lots of appliances and dishes.

Beach vacation

The house is located in a nice community but close to the main road that runs by the community. Traffic noise at night. The location was somewhat of a drive to get to any beach but we made it work. Had to factor in a half hour drive to get to beach. House had a few small maintenance issues. House accommodated 6 adults and one infant well. Kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Nice community pool.

It’s average

The house has good potential for a family Stay however, the TV channels are lacking Especially if you’re planning to watch football and more importantly the cleaning staff needs to do a better job mainly in the kitchen. Windows desperately need a good cleaning. Kitchen is well stocked. No fencing near road if bringing kids or dog.

When we checked in on Thursday afternoon, the property had clearly not been cleaned. The waste bins contained trash, including used feminine hygiene products. One of the bedrooms also had a noticeable odor. I received a text from the property manager the night I checked in to ask if there were any issues. I responded with these concerns and received no reply. Thus we handled the trash ourselves, and the smell resolved.The more serious issue came on Sunday as we were checking out. My wife spotted a cockroach in the downstairs bathroom, and we then found another in the downstairs bedroom. Upon closer inspection, we discovered 5–6 dead cockroaches under the bed and dresser in that same room. This made it clear that not only had the property not been cleaned before our arrival, but it likely hadn't been properly cleaned in some time.I was charged a cleaning fee as part of the rental cost, and the condition of the home fell well short of any reasonable standard. Beyond the disappointment, we were genuinely concerned that cockroaches may have gotten into our luggage — fortunately, they had not.

Perfect multi-family or multi-generational home

We love Angola by the Bay and have been bringing our children here since they were small. They are no longer little. Our older children hung out with us upstairs while the teens stayed downstairs. With the dual kitchen areas, they had plenty of snacks. The huge dining area upstairs allowed us to have meals all together. The home is bright, roomy and very comfortable. The location is close enough to drive to all beaches and restaurants, but far enough away to not feel crowded. Everything is within 15-20 minute drive. This property had everything we needed to bring the whole family together again.

We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. Convenient location in a nice quiet gated neighborhood. Check in was smooth and our hostess was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a good stay, but there were some drawbacks. The house could use a deep clean, especially the carpeted stairs and area rug. The dining chairs were fabric but were stained. There was an ant issue in the kitchen ( not out of ordinary especially with the time of year, but the ant bait was full upon arrival, showing maybe it wasn’t changed before our check in). While the additional time we took to clean and mitigate these issues caused some inconvenience, it was a good stay.I will say, that when we checked out, we explained these issues to our hostess and she was very attentive, apologetic, and receptive. Overall, there were no glaring issues or deal breakers and we enjoyed our family time.

Great Rental!

The beds (queen) are getting worn as we noticed they weren't as comfortable this year as years past. If the owner could leave a leaf blower that would be great as the front drive and deck upstairs gets quite a bit of brush. The cleaners didn't wipe the table on the deck and it looked like it hadn't been wiped in weeks. We did clean it off but took 3 cleanings. We also had quite a few spiders - the main door had a huge web every time we came home with a huge spider in the middle. Honestly, that may sound like a lot but overall the place is amazing and has always felt like a home away from home. The owner was also spectacular as he walked us through how to get the wifi back up after the power outage.

We also BBQ on the deck ate inside it was to hot .For a few nights we went out to eat at the Irish Eyes for dinner a great choice of menu Items.We order hard shell crabs to go from the seafood house in Lewes and ate them at the house . And don’t forget Rita’s for all family members including the Pups . Also a great place for the dogs to But overall great time .

Great family home

Reviewer Comments: Great place lots of room and plenty of utensils dishes .We brought our own coffee pot and blender but they had everything there nice sitting room dining room for 8 to 10 people to sit and a suite downstairs for another family .Nice bbq and deck we didn’t sit outside much but it was comfortable .Big yard the kids played cornhole and great for dogs there was some glass outback and chestnut shells it was all fenced in great parking .All the kids brought there canoes and bikes and went fishing and biking .I liked that you had to put a code in at the gate as the property was a gated community it was a little far to the beaches about 7 miles to Lewis and Rehoboth beaches PS overall had a great time and looking for to returning 4.5 out of 5 only because the beach was a little far and traffic is always bad on most days depending on the time you go

The inside and outside of the home is comforting and welcoming. Great for families with toddlers, teenagers and dogs. We cook at home more than eat out so we loved having to stoves and two fridges. I was impressed by the quality of the pots, pans and utensils. Most places provide junk so I pack my own. I didn’t even pull my stuff out!!! The pool was very nice as well.

Property was well maintained and clean. I would have rated it higher if the carpets were clean.

I recommend removing the soiled carpets and replacing them with laminate flooring.

Boaters

If you are looking to rent a place with a boat ramp this location is deceiving. Initial pictures showed community boat ramp but when asked to rent a slip for the week we were told that we are not even allowed to use the ramp. Very upset and still stayed due to no other vacancies. Place itself was very nice and spacious. Had a nice time with family!

Great place. Would be nice to have outside downstairs door cleaned out and con webs removed.

Very convenient to both Lewis and Rehoboth. Very modern and comfortable. Great neighborhood.
