With views from one end of the apartment to the other being inside is almost as good as being outside.

Cute Cottage, Parking for Big Vehicle Difficult

Our cottage was wonderful! The location, the comfort of the bed, it made for a good vacation! It's a basic cottage but fit our needs perfectly. The chairs outside were great for watching the surfers and the waves. The view is spectacular! Although I do have to say the couch needs to be replaced. It's really uncomfortable, and they need to fix the blinds on the window so you can put them up. Our only real problem was parking my Palisade. I spoke with Trevor before we left for Cali and he told me I could park on Pacific Street. There were no regulations regarding time. He was wrong, it's 4 hour parking from 6am to 6pm. My sister and I both have MS and were there for a peaceful vacation not to site see, so we didnt plan on moving our car. To have to move our vehicle every 4 hours was a pain. Then to find out after we left there was a parking pass of some sort. It would have been nice to be made aware before I came that a pass was available. I will come back when I need another rejuvenation trip and next time make sure I get a pass.

The on-site manager (Tony I believe) could not have been more helpful. Made sure we were taken care of at all times. I would stay there again simple because he is running the place. 15 out of 10 all day!!

Great Place

Loved the place. Loved the ocean being outside. My only complaint…which has NOTHING to do with the place itself…was the Strand. The road that runs between the place and the ocean. I’ve stayed on the Strand before without much of a problem. This year was awful. The hundreds of cars constantly going by with music blaring for hours and hours became beyond irritating. Starting in the afternoon and going on even past midnight, the cars were cruising by slowly blasting music. It was impossible to keep the windows open to hear the ocean because of the noise. Even with the windows closed it was still very noisy inside. The other issue with the cars constantly going by was about every other car had people inside smoking pot. We couldn’t sit outside without breathing it in, and with the windows open it was constantly wafting through the house. I have nothing against pot, but I don’t want to constantly smell it. It made for a very unpleasant stay. Again, the property was perfect, it was something completely outside the hosts realm of control.

The property was really clean, all the linens smelled fresh. There were plenty of plates and cutlery. The property manager was there on site and very helpful. It was one of the best VRBO's that we have stayed in and we'll be back as soon as we can. thanks.

Awesome place!

My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at this property. The view is phenomenal! The place was clean and the bed was super comfortable! We were able to walk to restaurants and convenient stores nearby. We would love to come back and stay again! Thank you for sharing your property with us. ;)

Ocean Front with a Garage

Modern interior with everything I needed for a comfortable work-from-anywhere lifestyle. The constant view of the ocean and sounds of the crashing waves was the purpose of this booking and it delivered. The shared deck was large, well furnished with a modern fire pit and also perfectly situated oceanfront. The bed was very comfortable. My two dogs had a park nearby as our daily go-to. Having parking here was a huge benefit and the fact that it was a garage was perfect. Property management was onsite, friendly and responsive. The sunsets here are spectacular. This booking delighted and delivered.

The check in was easy. It was clean and the location was perfect!

We went for thanksgiving and the price was perfect, location was great. Loved the kitchen and bathroom. The mirror that hookes up to your Bluetooth was awesome. Would book this place again.

Loved every minute!

Wow! The pictures are spot on for this adorable cottage right on the water. It was VERY clean, the bed super comfy. Both of those are very important. Some other reviews complained about the noise. We did not find it overly noisy at all and if you are coming to Oceanside, you should know that this is a very happening place with lots of locals and tourists. We spent the mornings and evenings on the large deck either by the fire or up front with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The people watching, surfing, cars, waves,,,,, it was absolutely incredible. We walked everywhere to shops, coffee, restaurants, the pier and the harbor. All within about a mile and very doable. We will be back!!

Awesome Oceanside location

We had a great time in this cottage. Clean unit(106) and excellent location for my elderly mother to easily access the beach. Hope to be back soon!

Cool spot!

Nice little unit! Great accommodations in the unit as well as on the property. It’s right off The Strand road so that adds a dynamic all might not enjoy. The traffic on that little road is load and obnoxious with nearly everyone blasting their music. The coast straight out of the property is rocks, but a short walk closer to the pier yields all the beach play one could desire. We spent a week there and made priceless memories.

Right on the beach, pictures are exactly as described

We have spent the last 20 years in Pacific Beach and this was our first time in Oceanside. The actual property and patio is fantastic for the price. We stayed right on the strand, although there was a lot of traffic, at night with the windows closed and AC on it was quiet. They were great when we needed extra trash bags or towels. Was very impressed overall by the place. The location of Oceanside is a different experience from PB, especially on the strand it’s self. In front of the property is a rock beach, the demographics and vibe is quite different from PB. I want to be crystal clear that the property itself is amazing for the price. The patio, grill, fire pit, management was great. Oceanside just wasn’t for us.

Spring break getaway

It is a wonderful place to stay for a small group of family or friends. It is right on the beach and very close to the pier. Lots of action on the strand and we don't mind the noise.

The Perfect Getaway

We stayed in the small, ground floor apt. Was plenty of room for the two of us. The outdoor shared patio deck was the best, the perfect spot to melt away all that anxiety. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

My weekend Getaway to oceanside was great we love the location everyone was very friendly and we felt very welcomed the only reason why I gave 4 stars was because the bathroom was a little dingy to our liking but other than that everything was great

Favorite place to stay in Southern Cali!

Every year we drive down to Carlsbad and San Diego for a family vacation from Fairfield. We stumbled across this place from a friend who referred us and I’m so glad we decided to book with them! Definitely affordable for how close you are to the beach! Can’t wait for next year to roll around so we can enjoy Oceanside and Lands End!

Fun location oceanside!

Very clean inside and out! Very well maintained and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. The market and local coffee shop were in walking distance and we walked their daily. Great location to walk either direction along the beach. We would definately return to Land's End!

Incredible vacation

Lands End exceeded our expectations! The location is absolute paradise. Having a full kitchen was great and the bed was super comfortable. Being a dog friendly property was awesome bonus for our puppy. It was super clean everything was there that we needed for our time. The beach accessories and toys were a blessing for our 5 year old. We will return again.

Great for Ironman Oceanside.

It was clean, quiet and within walking distance of race venue. Nathan was great, we needed a cullender for pasta night and he provided his personal one for us to use. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings with great views and comfortable chairs. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful stay!

Stayed for the month of March with my wife. Perfect for a couple. The unit was very clean and had all the amenities. We used the BBQs regularly and they worked great. The deck is great for relaxing, people watching, checking out the many antique vehicles, sunsets and sun bathing. There is garage parking available. This property is directly on the beach. Great for surfing or boogie boarding. Within walking distance to many restaurants, local shops, movie theatre, etc. The property manager was always available and was very helpful. Would highly recommend this property and will definitely return

Best place for the price!

By far the best place to stay along the Oceanside beach for the price. The private deck was perfect for us. We used the deck all the time to sit and read, or to scan the water with our binoculars looking for whales and dolphins and boats, or to just relax and enjoy the coastal lifestyle. The Oceanside pier is within easy walking distance and we walked there every day at least once. Movie theater, restaurants and other points of interest are also within easy walking or driving distance. On-site property manager is great about taking care of any problems.
