There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Nice location

The efficiency Cando was surely big enough for me and my husband. The sunrise where buitful the beach are clean. The help in the condo where great, but,did have a little trouble with the door lock key pad There are a lot of numbers to use, we just took a picture of our code and remembered it that way, besides that had a great time

Old hotel that needs updating but with good amenities and view

We stayed in room 312, the view was lovely and front desk staff were helpful if not overly warm. There are indoor and outdoor pool and hottubs, which we really loved. Quick access to the beach with shower to wash off feet and public trash cans. Really can't complain about the amenities, we didn't use the washer/dryer, movie rentals, or workout room but for the price it was great that they were available. We were concerned about parking but they had extra space downstairs so no issues. The hotel is older and so there are cracks and tears in the carpets, just normal stuff you'd expect. The larger issues were dog hairs on the sheets and faded stains on some bath towels. It's a pet friendly hotel so you'll never fully get away from it but it was more than I was happy with so I bumped down the rating. Still, for our first time in Myrtle Beach and for the price we were satisfied.

Basic at best

There was nothing to "love". I appreciate that this hotel is pet friendly however my dog refused to use the area designated for pets as it was a few pieces of mulch and the majority turf. Most dogs are accustomed to actual grass so this of course made it quite difficult at potty time. Because my dog did refuse to use the designated area we had to try to find alternate sources. The room was very basic - 2 double beds and small bathroom. The coffee pot in the room was disgusting and should be thrown away. Amenities slim to none. There was no dining options nor coffee at the hotel. The jacuzzi outside was extremely cold- better suited for a kiddie pool which is what it was primarily used for during my stay. This is most definitely a 2-star hotel.

Stress-free process and they allowed dogs.

First I must say, we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very quick to respond to any of my many initial questions, from phone to email communications. Inclusive for our reservation as well as for our 2 dogs. I was very pleased at the entire reservation process from beginning to check in. Christina was our first contact at check in and was so nice and helpful. Stress-free check in for sure. Any questions or requests, we had were quickly answered and responded to. All staff were very courteous. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the resort. All the guests appeared very happy. Honestly we loved that this Resort cater's to our sweet furbabies as well as us hoomans. If I may make one small suggestion, a sprayer at the outdoor sand rinser on the walkways would be very helpful for us older folks to spray our sandy feet as well as our dogs sandy feet. Other that that, we loved our stay and we plan to return next year. Thank you for offering this wonderful place at reasonable rates, right on the beach.

More then what I expected.

My wife and I have been coming to myrtle beach for 3 summer vacations staying a week every year and have been to a few other hotels around myrtle beach and I have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at and the cleanest, from the first time we walked through the door to check in it felt inviting and the receptionist was very helpful with our check in process and we got the room about a hour early, and we brought our service dog with us and they were the best hotel that allows dogs to stay, the room was very clean and the Oceanview was great to, no problems parking they had plenty there was parking on top and they had parking below, we had a very good vacation and will be looking to come back to this hotel next year, thanks to all the staff for being so helpful and you guys are doing a great job 😉

Great week!

We had a great time and the room was perfect for our family of three. We were a little sad we couldn’t bring our two (golden retrievers) dogs since there is a weight limit. Not sure why that is as we saw a few dogs that were over the listed “40 lbs”. This was the reason we wanted to book so we could bring them. Luckily I double checked this before traveling. The location was good because it’s not a huge property with a lot of rooms. The larger condo facilities had crowded beaches. This was about perfect. The kitchen was nice and bigger then other units I saw, but could have used a few more utensils. No baking sheet is one I remember. The two pools and two hot tubs were clean and taken care of with a pool attendant constantly cleaning. For the beach it was a one of the shorter walks we have had to the beach and the new entrances with showers to clean off beach sand were fabulous! Everyone on the staff that we interacted with were great. Even the one “Furologist” in the doggie spa/daycare we talked to!

This place is Not for couples getaway

The cleaning is what got me at first… everything is just clean to the eye dishes in room were not cleaned properly. We was on the 3rd floor but honestly seemed like the 1st floor balcony has no privacy because anyone walking up from the beach can see you. The #1 thing that was a inconvenience is that the only two elevators in the building did not work the whole time and we had to use the stairs. The pool is okay not as big as it looks in the pictures online. Lots of kids splashing and jumping no relaxation witch I get but just be prepared if your coming as a couple to relax. The beach was the best part it’s really accessible. Close to everything! Overal it was an ok experience but for the price I feel like they could have cleaned the room better apon arrival and supplied more necessities in the room. Beds only have a thin cover so bring a blanket ! Tv has regular channels nothing special.

major bug problem

had a major roach issue in room, every time lights went on more roaches would appear. we wound up buying spray and roach traps and kept lights on at night, spray and traps worked mostly but would still find through week

Stayed in better, stayed in worse

Only stayed there for one night but the room itself was fairly nice. Somewhat updated in appearance, decent kitchenette area (nicely stocked with untensils/cookware) and it had newer bedding. Overall, I felt it was a clean unit. Beds were a little firm but better than being too soft/worn out. Pools/hot tubs were nice and not overly crowded but the seating area at the outside pool was very close with not much area to walk around, especially with other guests in the chairs. The hotel elevator was extremely slow. Glad were were only on the 3rd floor because at checkout we eventually had to carry our luggage down the stairwell because we waited forever for an elevator, only to have it be filled every time the door opened. If we'd have had more stuff to carry down, or been on a higher floor, it would not have been possible. As for the room/unit itself, my only real complaint was the balcony. It was completely covered in water. Water kept dripping from a somewhere higher up and it was pooling on our balcony and running to where there wasn't a dry area on it. Nearly a quarter inch of water just sat there, which prevented us from using the balcony at all without drenched feet/shoes. I won't fault the unit itself for that though because the water was coming from somewhere else above. If we'd have been staying longer than one night it would have been a much bigger issue.
