Not as Good as 2024 but Still a Good Place to Stay

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

The main Wifi was down according to a note that was left. The replacement wifi was bad to say the least, which made it cumbersome since the cell signal on JI is very weak. They tried to fix it temporarily, but it was still weak. I know this is a first world problem, but nearly impossible to use my work laptop or stream anything. We had to sweep up chips in the living room area upon arrival and get two ripped shower curtains replaced (not sure why cleaning crew did not tell management about this). We had to wipe down a couple of walls that had black smudges all over them. The bathroom door near the garage entryway does not lock and the lock that was on the door was broken off. Also the bathroom drain needed to be snaked because it would not drain. We would highly recommend getting new exhaust fans in the original bathrooms so that it is not so steamy after taking a shower. The bed arrangement was changed from last year, no longer a king and a queen. Only a king and twins now. Twin beds are not good for adults, especially over 6 feet tall. Towels were in short supply as well. We were told that we could not get any more, even though we were staying two weeks. Last year they stocked a cabinet in the hallway with extra towels, which didn't happen this time around. Not sure why. The hot tub had to be turned on manually out at the main control box. The remote controls were not working because the wifi was out. Took some figuring out, without instructions. Also, had no power for a day, due to crews working on the power lines nearby (not the fault of the rental). It would be nice to be able to override the bedroom TV parental controls. This place is great with regards to location and set up. Just a lot of little things that went wrong this time around. I'm glad that we stayed for two weeks, because dealing with all these issues in one week would have been a real vacation bummer. We would stay here again, but it was not as good as it was in 2024.
