Endless opportunity at this great little house walking distance from the beach and river.

Firestick TV with YouTube TV service in the living room and bedroom.

The bedroom includes a king bed and queen bed. There is a queen murphy bed in the main area of the house.

The kitchen has a good set of basics for eating and cooking including a coffee maker, Kuerig, toaster and microwave. We don't have an icemaker; there is an ice dispensing machine just around the corner from the house.

The bathroom has only a shower; no bathtub.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Just wanted a little weekend getaway near the water. Matagorda is not crazy busy like Galveston so had a nice quiet weekend even on the 4th of July. Could see fireworks from the deck. The house was clean and cool. Would stay here again.

Weekend getaway for gender reveal

Daughter was having a gender reveal on beach so this place was perfect .No one had to drive far home we all stayed at the house and celebrated after .Everything was clean and orderly in house.

Great location

The house was the perfect size for our family. Great location and easy to find. Owner was very responsive and great communicator. Decor was perfect. Great games for family time. I could not figure out how to use the TV but we did not come to Matagorda to watch TV so no problem. Overall great experience. Thanks!

Matagorda beach FB page is “Gorda Gossip “ that was helpful. The public beach is the best place to swim. Pier was best for shelll hunting. The house was every thing we expected. However, no instructions came with the TVs and how to navigate their set up. But honestly didn’t watch much TV it was sunny 88 degrees

Home with deck and ocean view

Host extremely responsive and accommodating. Home currently under some type of excessive ceiling rehab. Entire ceiling either filled with holes, screws exposed, drywall replacement etc. Home lacked deep cleaning in bathroom especially shower. Kitchen filled with all essentials. Check out easy since expectations stated clearly and requested prior to departure date.

Wonderful Beach House

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We liked the location and was able to reconnect with my husband’s friends and him show me some things from his past! The house had everything you needed. We didn’t find the washer/dryer but we didn’t need them. The door handle to the entrance door I have to say was the worst and most aggravating thing about the house. Hopefully owner will get that fixed asap! Mosquitoes were terrible so bring lots of bug spray! Other than those two things loved our stay!

Great house close to the water

We enjoyed the house and it’s proximity to the park. Be brought our bay boat and parked right in front. Dinner with my family was easy! We just brought our food and personal items! We will stay again!

Family weekend trip

Perfect Place for a Small Family

Haley was an amazing communicator for all questions we had. She promptly answered our texts and was even able to facilitate us checking in a little early. As our first trip with our 4 month old, we were nervous to say the least. Thank you again for working with us! The house is perfect for a small family. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all utensils we needed. The living room area is perfect for relaxing after a long day fishing. Tons of open storage under the house for all your fishing/beach gear. I left my kayak and fishing poles under the house and had no worries about it being taken. The street is quiet and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely book Haley's place in the future!

Relaxing Getaway

The house was as expeced, clean and in good shape. The decor was fantastic. The area was not to busy, just a few construction vehicles and other folks coming to and from their homes, which made for a quit and relaxing stay. It's been a while since we've been to Matagorda so we didn't know the beach entrance had changed walking to the beach from the house was not Ideal since you had to go threw the dunes and high grass, not an issue at all since the old beach parking lot and pier was super close. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great home within walking distance of the beach

This property offers a perfect "beach house" type experience for a couple or a small family. Quiet neighborhood with a very clean home with comfortable seating, inside and out. The kitchen is appropriately stocked and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We'll definitely be renting this home again.

Perfect Getaway

The weather may have been rainy and imperfect for a beach vacation, but this house was anything but! The remodel work makes it the prettiest beach house I have stayed in on Beachfront Dr. The open concept was perfect for making dinner, talking with family, and keeping an eye on the kids playing. The property was clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. Haley was amazing to work with for accommodations, before, during and after our stay. We will stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
