2nd Row House - 2 min walk to beach, oversized screened porch and ready for fun

Berner Breezes is a lovely second row home on the East End of Sunset Beach. Enjoy the easy rhythm of island living in this beach home. A combination of wood and earthy tones throughout create a warm and inviting setting. This linen ready home has a well-stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans, dishes, etc. you could possibly need and includes both a Keurig (bring your favorite pods) and a traditional coffee maker. The home includes wi-fi with a large flat screen TV in the family room along with additional televisions in each of the bedrooms. Each TV has a streaming device so you can connect with your favorite apps. Enjoy the sun and sounds of the ocean from either the oversized screened porch or from the large sun deck on the second floor.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor that share a full bath. The second floor has two additional bedrooms as well as two full bathrooms. In addition, the large bonus room is currently utilized as a 5th bedroom. Linens will be provided for all.

Interior amenities include a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, central heat & air, 6 color TVs, DVD player, WIFI & ceiling fans. Outside amenities include a charcoal grill, outside shower, fish cleaning station, sun deck and screened porch. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys are also included.

Please note this home is Non-Smoking and Not Pet Friendly. While we understand the idea of a full family vacation, we ask that you leave Fido and Fluffy at home.

House was in great shape. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. We would stay again and the beach access was very close. Bathrooms were all great and the bedroom setups worked well.

This property is a wonderful location. Lauren is a gracious host with great communication. Property is in perfect condition. Each year they continue to update and improve the property. We have stayed here almost every summer for 40 years. There are four bedrooms, and the loft has 2 twin beds and a door. I would highly recommend this rental property. KB

Perfect House for Our Family

CLEAN, great location, comfortable beds, relaxing porch, well-stocked kitchen (dishes, silverware, pots, pans,...), lots of common space seating, good wifi for family members working remotely,... Contacted the owners a couple times, and she replied immediately and solved the small issues.

Perfect For All Ten Of Us!

Super close beach access, which is top priority for our family! Very, very clean! Plenty of parking for all five of our cars and there was still room for a sixth. This house had everything we could have possibly needed during this family reunion and everyone was very happy with it! Great communication with host, too!

Beautiful and immaculate house

Berner Breezes was an amazing house. It’s beautiful and was the cleanest one we’ve ever rented. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach w/only a few stairs. The owner was easy to reach and very responsive. It was a rare 5 bedroom house to accommodate our family! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway!

Perfect getaway for us, 7 adults going on a fishing trip. Great location within feet to the public beach access and 15 minutes from the charter. The house was spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. Minus a little hicup with the new digital lock, everything went smoothly. The owner was super quick to respond in fixing the lock issue and we had no other problems while there. I may have misunderstood the original listing, but if you plan to grill...Bring Charcoal. It is not a propane grill. Not an issue though as stores are super close. I would highly recommend this rental and would stay again.

The best beach vacation

Lauren is an absolute top tier host. My family has been coming to this house for years (under previous owners), and we were so excited to see this listed again. You can tell the property is well loved and cared for, and the amenities help you feel right at home. We ran into a slight issue during our stay, but Lauren was so on top of it, you really can’t ask for more from a host. Her communication is top notch, and she made sure everything was taken care of so we felt minimal impact. It’s easy for a host to be amazing when everything goes right, but the true test is how they handle any sort of hiccups, and Lauren is the best. We even had someone in our group forget some clothes in a drawer post departure and we were so lucky to have Lauren to coordinate picking them up with. When it comes to the house itself, the rooms, location and access to the beach is the best. Plenty of space for the whole crew and my favorite place is the full screened in front porch. The kitchen is fully stocked and very easy to access plenty of restaurants. We cannot wait to come back again asap!

Great trip with large family. Couple of beach umbrellas / tents were broken so not enough shade for our large group but would stay here again for sure!

Great beach house

This house is a great location. Everything about this property, from the booking, to location (very close to beach walkway), cleanliness, is 5 stars. The only reason that it was given 4 stars overall was that we had to provide our own linens. Even toilet paper and paper towels were provided. If linens would have been provided, it would definitely be 5 stars across the board.

Great week!!

The house was exactly as described. We had a couple minor issues such as the TVs not working and the host drove 4 hours each way to rectify the issue by taking all the cable boxes to the cable company to get it working. No other issues and great accommodations.

The cleanliness of the property was not the best. Used paper towels were left on the front porch, previous guest’s clothes were in the top dresser drawer, the tables on the porch were covered in sticky drink rings that we had to wipe down, stains on the armrest of the inside lounge chair, etc.

Perfect Porch!

Having stayed in Scuttlebutt many moons ago, we were anxious about this property. LOTS of improvements since then (including the name)! All 10 of us were comfortable in the great beds and there were lots of blankets and pillows to choose from. The bathrooms were adequate and the kitchen fully stocked. The best part of the house was definitely the large screened in porch with all the furniture and great ceiling fans. We would certainly love to rent this again!
