OCEANFRONT TOWNHOME STYLE BEACH COTTAGE WITH INCREDIBLE OCEAN VIEWS FROM BOTH LEVELS - Located at The Cottages at Jekyll Island. just steps from the Cottages South Beach Access. 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms featuring open concept living, dining, kitchen, laundry, lower porch, master suite (KING), and half bath all on the entry-level, 2 bedroom suites (QUEEN) (TWINS) with private bathrooms open to a large covered balcony on the second floor. The fourth bedroom has a single twin.
Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances.
In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, community fire pit, and beach access.

3 Parking Spaces include single car garage - No trailers of any kind allowed.

If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.

Great Jekyll option

We enjoyed our ocean cottage stay. The layout was great for our needs to work and relax, and plenty of room to have local family members over to visit. Very comfortable and a great location. We'd definitely consider coming back especially when the weather is warmer and we can really enjoy being on the beach.

We enjoyed the house. Very comfortable for two couples to hang out and visit Jekyll Island. Would stay again.

Great view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great place. The best part is the view from the top floor porch. Just enough of a kitchen, dining room, and living room to be perfectly usable. The garage is loaded full of beach accessories - we didn't end up using them because we brought ours from home - but could have packed less if we knew all this was there. There are two parking spaces plus the garage, but they were pretty tight - not just this unit though, it's the whole complex. Timing the tides was difficult, but the public beaches were just a mile or two away so it was no big issue. I would have liked the view on the bottom floor as well, but there was plants blocking it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here since the Cottages opened and always had a pleasant experience in the cottages we stayed in. This year was very different. Upon arriving to the cottage, it was apparent it was not clean. The cottage had cobwebs and spiders and was beat up in general. There was also a gnat issue, which does occur at times, but this cottage had so many, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. There were gnats caught in cobwebs. Tad did come and place one glass of apple cider vinegar with dish soap in the kitchen and a sticky tape. The cleaners returned and did very little. I spent the rest of the day using a broom to take down webs and gnats. I then placed apple cider vinegar with dish soap in all the rooms and changed every day. It did help in most of the rooms but the one bedroom and bathroom had a smell and was never able to be cleared of the gnats or smell. We lost the use of that room and bathroom for the entire week. My teenage son and I shared the room with two twin beds for the trip. We did end our trip one night early as I was tired of dealing with the gnats and sharing a room. I replied back to an email asking if there were any issues with the cottage but never received a response back. As a loyal customer over many years, I was disappointed, especially due to the cost of the cottage. I would still stay in a cottage again, but never the one we stayed in this year. It needs a deep clean and repairs in areas.

Amazing property, but not the cleanest

The property was absolutely amazing, we would definitely rent again, but the master suite had not been cleaned properly and that was a little disappointing.
