Sugarapple at Kapok Villas is a beautiful spot for your St. John, USVI getaway. This spacious unit is well lit w/ vaulted ceilings, 2 bedrooms with AC, 2 full bathrooms & a full service kitchen with breakfast bar that flows into the open dining and living room areas. The covered outdoor balcony has majestic views of the lush VI National Park & beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. There is an expansive pool deck area with a full size pool, tiki bar & entertainment area. 12 minute drive to the beach!

Airy and spacious.

Plenty of room for four gals. Very nice pool. About 10-15 minutes to ferry and trunk bay. Kim was wonderful. Would recommend for families.

Perfect getaway

Sugarapple was the perfect place for our brief escape! Everything we needed in the kitchen, lovely outdoor space with cool breezes and gorgeous views. Kim and her daughter were wonderful hosts! We will be back!

Communication from the Host was excellent, she met us personally to show us around, and was very hospitable. The property was as advertised, spacious parking, and would stay here again if we visit again in the future.

Best Island Getaway

Not even sure where to start! The week spent at this villa exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, Kim was the most tentative and communicative host. She checked in prior to the trip to ensure our timing would match up, and gave us a very informative tour of the villa and it's amenities. When booking I let her know we would be traveling with friends who have a 4 month old and upon arriving she had a pack and play ready for them in the room. Additionally, Kim provided us with coolers, beach chairs and towels to help us avoid unnecessary weight in our luggage with packing these items from home. The villa itself was clean, and had an amazing view to wake up to each morning. It was in a great location with so many great bars/restaurants close by and Coral Bay a quick drive away. Kim left us all her recommendations that were helpful even traveling with friends who frequently visited St. John. I could not recommend a stay at this villa more and we already look forward to our next getaway!

Amazing Host and Property

Kim is great! She has all the information you could possibly need to have a great trip in St John laid out for you in the home! She is quick to communicate, and help out as needed. Truly accommodating and genuinely helpful host! There were a few things that arose with our flights being cancelled and Kim was quick to offer alternative options and offer other available spaces she had available! This is unbeatable kindness when your trip plans are uprooted unexpectedly! Thank you Kim for your hospitality! The place is amazing, just a few minutes from town, easy to get too, and has everything you need to cook and stay comfortable. We stayed with three young children and three adults and had more than enough space to feel comfortable. Property is has all of the things needed for the beach, including chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear which is helpful to have and not have to purchase and lug around. We will definitely stay again! This place is amazing, book it!

Loved it!

We loved the openness and flow of gentle breezes through the unit. We loved the balcony with its views of the houses on the hills and all the way to the sea. Location was great too.

A Fantastic St John Vacation Rental

We had such an amazing stay! The house had literally everything we needed including kitchen/cooking supplies, filtered drinking water, snorkeling gear, beach towels, cooler and beach chairs. Beautiful views from the balcony plus was nice and private. There’s even a pool and laundry. The hosts are so sweet and very responsive. I highly recommend renting a car to get around the island. The rooms were spacious and have AC. The living room doesn’t have AC, but the apartment stayed cool with the fans and amazing island breeze from the windows and balcony door. The showers had hot water. Don’t hesitate to book!

Kapok Villas - a hillside gem

We had a great 4-day stay here recently. This is a spacious and well-kept property with an open-air kitchen/living area and a tremendous view. The pictures are exactly how it looks in person. Convenient location to get anywhere on the island and Cruz Bay is just a short drive back down the hill. Kim is an excellent host, very responsive, and knowledgeable about all things St. John and the broader VI.

The perfect hideaway on St. John

Lovely private villas overlooking the Caribbean Sea in a natural forest of flamboyant and Kapok trees. Villas have up to date kitchen appliances, beach equipment for your forays out, and gas grills. Kim left us a lovely welcome basket, ideas on where to go, and even helped track down local fish for the grill. We just loved being quiet, hanging out in the pool, and watching the birds and animal life.

Everything we could have ever wanted

This place has majestic views while surrounded by tropical vegetation with the ocean and islands in the background. The location is great as it’s 10 min from Cruz Bay but definitely away and quiet. It’s also only minutes from a great restaurant in the Windmill Bar (which the host recommended and we are so glad we went). The host was extremely helpful with us having a great experience. The condo was very clean and everything was perfect for our family of 5. The pool was fun to and the water was warm. The entire property is very well taken care of. We made use of the beach shade that was part of the beach gear, it was great when we couldn’t find shaded spots. We hope to have another retreat here, it was perfect.

Perfect Homebase!

We had a wonderful stay high above sea-level with plenty of room for our three huge boys to spread out. The kitchen was stocked nicely for saving money on cooking at home some nights and there was plenty of counter space. The A/C's in the bedrooms made it very pleasant for the hot and humid nights in the Caribbean.

Couldn’t ask for anything else!

What a great place! Even before checking in, Kim was so nice and helpful in everything to make our vacation the best possible. Her property was in a great location on St John, as well as kept up and clean. She went out of her way to show our family fun and interesting things in the nature, as well as answering any other questions we had. Love this villa

I absolutely love this villa. The location, the layout, the balcony and the view. We had breakfast with bananaquits every day. Very quiet area but not far from Cruz Bay. Villa very well stocked. Had everything we could ask for. The week went by way too fast and I can't wait to return.

Great Kapok!

We appreciated Kim & Luann for the great communication and greeting! The rental had everything listed and needed. We had an excellent time on St. John, and Glucksberg was the landing spot to make our trip complete!
