Bear Lake Dream - Immaculate, Brand New, Private Lake Front House with a Hot Tub!

Make all of your vacation dreams come true at Bear Lake Dream — An immaculate, two-home, lakefront property! Secluded and newly developed, the deep lake views are unparalleled as the property is situated looking directly down Bear Lake. With two brand new homes connected via a breezeway, this home accommodates up to fourteen guests.

Once inside you will feel your cares begin to slip away….Large windows surround the entire house, revealing huge lake and mountain views. The main floor features an updated kitchen and comes fully equipped with everything you need, a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace for cozy evenings, and the master bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed. Additionally, find a sunroom with unblemished views and a twin-size bed on this level. Upstairs is a wet bar, two private bedrooms -- one with two queen beds and the second with another queen bed, and a full bathroom. Just steps away is a complete second home with another full-size kitchen, living room, double queen bedroom, and two full bathrooms.

Lake traffic is often light and warm enough for boating, using the provided kayaks, and/or swimming at the private beach. Mountain hiking trails are too numerous to count — hike to the Bear Lake waterfall or head to Paradise Falls and surround yourself with the beauty that only Mother Nature can provide. Visiting in winter? It's an especially peaceful time of year to gaze out the window at the (sometimes) snow-topped mountains and peaceful lake. Enjoy the warmth and crackle of the fireplace after a day of hiking or snow tubing. Ski resorts are 30-40 minutes away in Cataloochee, NC. Check out charming nearby Cashiers for shopping, micro-breweries, and restaurants — the possibilities for entertainment are endless!

Absolutely amazing!

We had our entire wedding party stay at this property! It was a fantastic property and the owners were accommodating and so very nice. We would highly recommend this property for scenery, convenience to local areas and an amazing gathering place for guests. Can't say enough, no issues at all!

Amazing retreat for a family gathering

Go ahead and do yourself a favor and rent this property now! It is beyond perfection. The two houses was absolutely amazing for our three families. The main house has a beautiful large kitchen overlooking the dining room. An open floor plan so that all the children can listen to the adult conversations! The game room was perfect for the kids to play puzzles or different games. The porch wraps around to beautiful views of the lake. Fishing off the Shores was perfect for our 13-year-old boys. The property was immaculate, we enjoyed a fire pit one evening watching the stars. I even captured a shooting star! All the beds were extremely comfortable, everything is decorated nicely. Was a great option for the teenagers. The owners were extremely responsive. We had no issues at all.

This is a beautiful home with stunning views of the lake. We felt like we were on our own private island. We also rented the pontoon boat for our week stay and would highly recommend it! The home was very spacious, but keep in mind that some bedrooms do not have curtains and were open to the living areas which made it bit difficult at times when little ones were sleeping. Overall our stay was nearly perfect.

Lake reunion

The house was wonderful. We were 2 families with 5 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved the outdoor beach and dock. We love bear lake!

Perfect Mountain Spot

We can't say enough good things about this property. My family and I got to spend Thanksgiving on this beautiful property. If you are looking for a place large enough to host family gatherings with amazing views this is the perfect spot. Only downside is with the amount of people this property holds there is not enough space for trash but that will not stop us from coming back in the future

Beautiful house and lake

Beautiful house, very clean, easy checkin and check out process. Rental company was great to work with. The loft areas were slightly harder to work with as sleeping areas for young children, but overall great experience.

Beautiful and peaceful

The property is beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. The lake view is amazing as well. Loved the location too. We went rafting down the Nantahala one day, to Asheville another day and hiking at High Falls a third day and all places were an easy drive. Great place for sure.

Summer family stay

We had a great stay at this property. The location is secluded but not too far away from Sylva, which is a cool little college town. The property is stunning in design and location. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, and nearby hiking. The houses are well equipped and well maintained, and had everything we would want. Overall a great time in the NC mountains.

Incredible place!!

We stayed at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday with our extended family. It could not have been a better trip. The place was immaculate, and everything seemed new. The rental company was a pleasure to deal with. The views were amazing! I could go on and on. I would recommend this place again and again!

The Best Kind of Dream

This property is truly the best kind of dream you can imagine, especially a large family reunion. There are so many different spaces, both for gathering together, intimate moments or silent reflection. The lake and use of a private dock provided endless opportunities for swimming and boating. The pavilion was perfect for a large group cookout. The houses were beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. We felt very welcome and well-cared for. I highly recommend it!

Perfect Spot!

This place is breathtaking! It is the perfect mix of mountains and lake as it sits right by both. It had plenty of space for the whole family. We enjoyed taking the boat on the water, tubing and skiing. There was plenty of room on the lake even during a holiday weekend. The views from both balconies don't seem to be real. The perfect spot to kick back, relax, and just enjoy nature. We will definitely be back with the family!

Stunning property and view!

The view at this property was breathtaking - one of the most beautiful views I’ve seen! The house was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated, and overall an amazing space for a large family gathering. The property had everything you needed to take in all the activities right there. The owner/property manager was responsive and super helpful. One item to note is that the beautiful stain glass wall cutouts in the bedrooms can make it challenging from a noise perspective when you have small children going to bed earlier than the adults.

Absolutely amazing place! Our whole family from old Tk young loved it! The kitchen was complete with everything that you could possibly need..there is no need to take anything with you! There wasn't any place in either house that you didn't have a beautiful view of Bear Lake.. the sites were absolutely gorgeous..We took bikes, games etc but spent every waking moment on the lake with the pontoon boat, swimming at the dock and taking late evening rides on the water.. I can't say enough about the accommodations.. You will not regret any expense spent to stay at this site!!

What a view!

If you are looking for a place e with beautiful views and lake access that will accommodate several folks this is the place for you. Comfortable furniture and linens with spacious living areas and bedrooms. Everything was updated with new appliances, decking, flooring, paint etc. There was plenty of parking which is unusual for a secluded mountain home. There was still some construction going on in the event space but it wasn't a problem for us at all. Had a great time and made some great memories.

The ultimate relaxation spot

We had a great vacation staying at the the Bear Lake Dream! The views of the serene lake from this house are IMPRESSIVE! If you have any family members that may have trouble with the climb up and down from the water, they could easily enjoy their time rocking on one of the many porches this house provides! The house was well stocked with everything you need. I was impressed by the quality of the porch furniture of which there was abundant seating. Kids and adults enjoyed the kayakes provided and there was an option to rent a pontoon boat which was well worth the money to see the whole lake. Our kids also enjoyed fishing and building sand castles on the glittering beaches (they actually sparkle!). Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to getaway from the day to day hustle and bustle. Not a lot of restaurants close by so plan to bring most of your meals (there is a Dollar General about 10 minutes away). Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the hot tub. We loved having this as an option but cleaned the filter ourselves and found it pretty disgusting. Also for future renters, you aren't allowed to hike at the Bear Creek Lake Resort area (even for a fee) so steer clear of that area to hike. Overall, 10/10!!!

We loved it!

Perfect place for us to share with our daughter and her bridesmaids for the wedding weekend. Having separate spaces with the two houses gave them time together as well as allowed us to be there to help out a moment's notice. The covered pavilion was perfect for sitting outside to enjoy the spectacular lake view and enjoy meals together. Thank you!
