Excellent home away from home

We had an excellent experience at this property. The house was extremely clean. The appliances were in excellent condition. The linens provided were clean and comfortable. There were extra towels for bath and beach. Basic paper products of toilet paper and paper towels were also provided. The house is very close to the beach as well as within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The property manager was readily available and answered all questions kindly and promptly. We were super impressed with this property and would highly recommend it!

Perfect Place for Families with Little Ones

Kirk’s place was perfect for our family with two little one’s. Our toddler especially loved playing in the fenced front yard and greeting all the passers by. It was the right amount of space and convenient location we were looking for, and Kirk was prompt and helpful with any questions or requests. Thank you!

This two bedroom beach cottage 1.5 blocks from the beach is a true gem. It is Walking distance to the Hess Brewery with a few more steps to the beach, can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Excited to return someday.

Great house but no swimming at Imperial Beach

The location to the beach is a 5 minute walk. There is food and coffee within walking distance. The area feels safe although it's next to apartments. The major downside is there is no swimming allowed at the beach due to contamination from Tijuana sewage. We ended up driving to 3 other beaches, all within 30 minutes.

Nothing lacking. Just about perfect VRBO with everything you need and great IB location. Host very responsive and price less expensive than any nearby hotel

Great rental

This is an excellent rental! The house is a newer renovation, well done with new appliances. Quiet neighborhood a block and a half from the beach, restaurants and IB pier. The host was quick to respond to messages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

This little house was wonderful for our family of four’s vacation to Imperial Beach/San Diego. The location to the beach was spot on, just a short walk. Great restaurants within walking distance. Driving to San Diego for all the tourist attractions was easy. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet location close to the beach.

This place was clean and located near the ocean. We insist on parking on the property and the driveway was convenient. I'd be happy to rent this place again.

Great weekend getaway

We are from IB but live out of state now. We came for a weekend to visit family and found this cute house 2 blocks from the beach. Great price, very nice house inside and house. Owner was super helpful and communicative. We had an issue with the water not being hot. He got SDGE sent out within the hour to fix the problem and was apologetic. House has everything you need except food obviously. It was a awesome find and we will definitely be renting again if it's available for our next stay. Thanks Kirk!

Clean, simple and very functional

Surprisingly one of my favorite stays in a while, I truly appreciate how simple and uncluttered the furnishings are which made the space for feel very functional and inviting. It's a short walk to the beach and there's food spots you can walk to. I came to IB to visit my mom and this was within walking distance for her and it was a great space for us to sit and gossip. The kitchen is fully functional as my mom took to cooking me some dinner. I would totally stay here again and the host was responsive. Thank you.

Great stay!

House is perfect- clean and well kept. Off street parking, with a super clean garage. Beds are very comfortable. Within two blocks of the beach. Lovely front porch and yard with a great shade tree. This was our second stay over the new year weekend. Highly recommend 😊

Comfortable 3-night Stay

The description is spot-on. The bed was comfortable with extra blankets available. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Restaurants and beach are within walking distance. Overall great little cottage.

Great location and cute house

We very much enjoyed our stay in Imperial Beach. Quick walk to the beach was wonderful. This would be a great summer place to stay.
