Bienvenido a Clearview by the Sea. Una casa bellamente construida y diseñada perfecta para familias numerosas. Un montón de espacio para que todos se extiendan por la privacidad y se sienten también para una comida familiar.

Esta casa cuenta con muchas actividades. Piscina privada al aire libre (16'x30 ') con juegos y carrozas o disfrute de un amistoso juego de voleibol en su cancha privada o acerca de las herraduras para que su adrenalina funcione. Si el interior es más tu estilo, juega un juego de billar. La cocina tiene un bar para que pueda sentarse y hablar con el cocinero mientras él o ella preparan la comida gourmet. También encontrarás un mini bar con nevera. A solo unos pasos de esta casa se encuentra el acceso comunitario al océano, la piscina y el área de juegos infantiles. Las habitaciones también ofrecen muchos extras, como televisión por cable en todas las habitaciones y excelentes opciones de ropa de cama que seguramente complacerán a todos en el grupo. We had a nice stay, but one problem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and accomodated our large family well. We stayed a week and were able to take advantage of the many facilities in the community. Very close to shops in Duck, NC. However, one the first day (Monday) we reported several issues with the house. Called back on Wednesday. No one came out. One item was all the pool cues were damaged beyond repair. So, we drove to Kitty Hawk and purchased one so we could play pool. Left the cue so the next renter could at least play pool with one stick.

Great OBX Vacation

The property accommodated our large multi generational family with ease and there was plenty of space for everyone. The description of the rental was very accurate. The house was a little dated, but very clean and functional. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. We loved the location with a short walk to the beach or to town and with the great amenities in the Four Seasons community. I would definitely rent again and recommend for anyone hosting a large group in Duck.

Great Location

The location of this house was very nice. Short walk to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk. A short walk to the Duck Boardwalk. Overall the house was very nice. Our only complaints were the descriptions on the bedrooms with the bathrooms. You couldn't tell which bedrooms had the jetted tubs and there was only 1 walk-in shower which made it difficult for our older folks to get in and out of the tubs. Also the shower floors get slippery when wet. Our grandmother actually fell while showering (she was okay). The pool didn't have the handrail to get in and out of the pool. The hottub had something broken on it which caused it to push out water and every time it was turned on the water would squirt way out of it. Someone was by to check on the pool and even stated that the cover needed to be on it at all times so that it didn't lose water. (Why not just fix it, if you are aware there is an issue?) We just opted to stay out if it. The porch swing was something my our grandmother was looking forward to and that wasn't there. And most of the pool sticks were broken. Like I said, overall the house is nice, it just needs an updated posting the doesn't show things that it doesn't actually have. We did love our stay and made the best out of everything.

Spring Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the third year we rented this house. The house is located perfectly; three minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Duck. The house was clean when we arrived and stocked well. Overall we had a great stay, but a few things did not meet our expectations. Usually we have a starter gift bag from the management company waiting for us- this year there was none. When we went to use the hot tub for the first time, there was a 2 inch scum layer around the waterline of the hot tub. We reported and it did get cleaned before we left. The management company was incredibly responsive when we called or texted.

Great Beach Access

Great for getting to the beach. There are a lot of steps and they are fairly steep so think about the people you are traveling with (age, etc). Overall a great space for a large group.

Family Reunion

With my brother serving in the Navy, moving around the country and being on deployment, we never had the opportunity to bring our families all together. He is now retired, has 3 grown daughters and 2 grandsons. I have my 2 teen/preteen boys who have only met their cousins a handful of times. This was the perfect place for my parents to have their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids all in the same place. Thank you for a great vacation and family reunion.

Close to Paradise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great access to the beach and good lay out for 14 people. Plenty of sleep space and bathrooms.. It was clear that outside hasn’t been tended to—no real porch furniture and very dirty broken chairs and lounge chairs around the pool. Home was covered in dog hair—management came and did some things to clean up. Mold in two of the bathroom showers on the main floor. The pantry hadn’t been cleaned out and so there was mouse droppings in the pantry when we arrived. The internet/cable didn’t work for the first two days on vacation—troublesome for the people who needed to work from the beach.

Great for our big family with lots of kids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Clearview by the Sea. Pros: There was plenty of room for 17 of us. The location is great with a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Many of us enjoyed the added bonus of the walking trail that went around this community which seemed to be a little known amenity. Nice 15 minute bike ride to town. The place was clean upon arrival.Cons: One of the dishwashers was not working right and wasn't cleaning well. Some of the dishes and utensils in the cabinets still had food on them. The cleaning service clearly did not check this. One of the bathroom drains was clogged. Again, how do the cleaning staff not notice? The pool had quite a bit of sand in the bottom, so it hadn't been vacuumed properly. The beach here is more narrow than other parts of the OBX, so if you're looking to spread out and have some space on the sand, you'll have to walk a bit.Over all, we very much enjoyed our stay and time here. If you're looking for a private place to enjoy the beach and your family, this might be it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed in Duck now for several one-week stays. Love the area. Pool table and the hot tub were very fun. Unfortunately, we encountered and killed several roaches in the home. Additionally several visible areas were noticeably dirty (i.e living room ceiling room and main air return duct). We enjoyed the discount rates at Kilmaric Golf Club. Played there several times during the week. The "bones" of the house seemed very nice. It needs a good cleaning and fumigation. I would recommend this location to a friend only if a little effort to clean the house were done.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House has good bones, needs updated. Maybe some nice chairs and tables on front and back decks. You need a new cleaning service! Absolutely no items for babies or toddlers not even a high chair. Had to have pool area repaired while we were there. One TV broken but owner sent a new one. Main complaint, one reason we rented this house, was the volleyball court and horse shoe pits. Terrible conditions, our granddaughter, a volleyball star, could not practice or even play a match. I won't even start on the horse shoe pit condition. Just maintain this property it's worth it, great location. We would rent again if the house gets a face lift.

Adequate but not exceptional

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a large enough house in decent enough condition that it shouldn't diminish your stay in Duck, NC. That said there were several smaller maintenance items (door that didn't lock, bunkbeds held by zip ties, loose ceiling fans, lights out, internet/tv not working first 2 days, missing remote for living room audio receiver, pool sticks missing cues, older worn furniture, etc) as well as a few functional issues (no blinds in upper level, smaller room sizes, decks not very usable) that didn't enhance the experience either. The lack of blinds in the upper level was particularly annoying as half the people at the dinner table had to compete w/ direct sunlight in their face, the TV was barely visible most of the day, and privacy issues in the evening. On the positives, the living and dining areas were large, kitchen had most of what you'd need, options for charcoal or propane grilling, nice sand volleyball court, pool was cool (smaller but ~5.5' deep), and hot tub was hot. The walk to the beach isn't too far (shuttle option as well), but you'll want to drive (or ride) just about anywhere else (and local Duck traffic is no joke). This neighborhood is fairly hilly, so factor that into a decision to rent bikes. The property is surrounded by trees/bushes which is nice for privacy, but there isn't a view to speak of. The house (like most in this neighborhood) feel more like coastal suburbia than a beach house in the OBX. All that said, we enjoyed our time in Duck, and would recommend this house for solid basics but nothing to write home about.

Perfect - beautiful home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every thing was perfect. The house had been sanitized and was extremely clean. The kitchen has absolutely everything anyone could need. The location is safe and beautiful - perfect for adults and children. Already booked again for next year.

Likely the worst rental in many years

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the life of me I cannot understand how this place has so many wonderful reviews. The windows were filthy in the house, the master had mold growing over the windows, the grounds had litter everywhere (including mens underwear and womens bathing suit bottoms) the dining room had no curtains and to eat dinner we had to wear sunglasses and to top it all off I left a diamond necklace on my dresser and my son left a watch and of course neither has been turned in. Additionally, we lost about a day and a half due to the septic overflowing and our toilets overflowing... exterior had mildew and bugs everywhere...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this was our second year at this house. We love the location! Overall this year we were not as pleased with the house as last year. Seemed a little more run down, microwave had a broken case, toilet in master bath upstairs was constantly running, one dining chair was broken, some pool lounge chairs were broken, needed more outdoor chairs on decks and poolside.

Great Place to Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for a beach visit for 10-12 people. Nice pool and nice house with great A/C. Very close to the beach (3 min walk) and super convenient to downtown Duck for shopping, eats, etc. House has space to spread out or gather all together. Kitchen well equipped and spacious.
