This property is situated to be equivalent to two hotel rooms but at a lower cost. It has a full size kitchen as well which is an added bonus to not renting hotel rooms. The sleep sofa is an added sleeping area to the 6 stated sleeping spots in case a group has up to 8 people or wants other options at sleeping. The outside area is fully cleaned and maintained in between check-in and out times which happens 2-3 times a week. The property is only messy if a rental group makes it that way while they are checked in. The pottery barn furniture is maintained during that time as well. This check-out had a broken chair thrown over to the side when we arrived of which we do not know how it happened and no one reported it to us. The property in front of this one was check in at the same time. We do keep back up chairs in our supply garage and this one broken chair was replaced when the property was turned over. It is very important to report items in not working condition whenever you notice them so they can be replaced immediately. Thankfully we do have 9 other chairs for the table but it is important to let us know so that we can get all items in not working order off the property especially if it breaks during a stay. Communication is very important when you rent a property so that a proper judgment can be made about the property as all properties have things that break from time to time and it is how a landlord reacts to that "fix" that makes a property a great one to rent. We take the condition of our properties very seriously and it means a lot to us to provide, clean, well-maintained properties.

I am truly sorry for anyone that feels they have had a bad experience in any of our properties. Communication is the key to a great stay. With that being said, I believe reviews are a place to rate experiences in a truthful and respectable manner. Yes, I was contacted by this tenant that there was an odor in the place that was giving her a headache. She suggested bringing a candle which I brought from my own house as I do not normally supply candles in a property for fear of misuse and fires. In addition to the candle she requested, I gave her 2 brand new UV Fans that I bought when COVID-19 hit that killed all germs, spores and odor to help with anything she felt she could smell. I am personally very sensitive to smells but in this case, I did not smell anything of what she was smelling. Every piece of bedding and the sofa had been laundered so I thought I smelled the tide pod scent but I did not smell what she stated. I also had the unit repainted after a 5 week rental but it was completed 5 days prior to this guests stay and a different rental preceded this stay with no issues. Because I was perplexed after I departed, I sent in my maintenance guy to see if he found anything different. He did not but did change the batteries in the remote for the TV. I did not hear from this tenant again during her stay until she departed and stated she wanted a full refund for her terrible stay. Since she had departed, I explained in writing that I was in the hospital after being brought in by an ambulance and said I would touch base with her after I was released. The cleaning people were sent in and they found no scents or fumes other then the ones left by pizza and food being left out on the table and dresser of the property. All trash, dishes and food were left along with no contract check out items being completed prior to departure.
