Plaza Mar 406: Old Town - Maravilloso condominio en la mejor ubicación absoluta

Plazamar se encuentra en la Zona Romántica, la mejor ubicación en el casco antiguo de Puerto Vallarta en la playa de Los Muertos. El malecón comienza justo afuera de la puerta: el centro está a 10 minutos a pie.

Plazamar es un condominio privado operado a poca distancia de todos los servicios; restaurantes únicos, cafés en las aceras, tiendas, cibercafés, cajeros automáticos, supermercados, spas, actividades acuáticas, gimnasio, etc. Hay abundante vida nocturna a pocas cuadras, pero nunca lo sabrías desde el interior del condominio. Es muy tranquilo y pacífico. El edificio está en una carretera sin salida, por lo que tampoco hay ruido de tráfico. Gestión y seguridad 24/7.

El servicio de limpieza se incluye tres veces por semana a menos que el huésped especifique lo contrario. Su consejo para nuestro personal de limpieza es muy apreciado.

Nuestro condominio es un condominio de un dormitorio recientemente renovado y decorado con buen gusto con sala de estar, cocina totalmente equipada y balcón con vistas a la montaña y al océano. La habitación tiene capacidad para dos adultos con alojamiento adicional para dormir en la sala de estar en cómodos sofás incorporados para dos personas más (tenga en cuenta que un sofá es un sofá de dos plazas más corto). Es ideal para una pareja o una familia con hasta dos hijos e incluye una silla alta y una cuna portátil para familias con bebés. El balcón y la azotea de Plazamar ofrecen vistas impresionantes del océano y la ciudad. Hay una piscina privada climatizada en la azotea con barbacoa y nevera.

Beautiful property with perfect location!

Plaza Mar faces a beautiful park right by Playa de los Muertos. The beach is so inviting and we watched the fireworks off Los Muertos pier from the rooftop pool. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The park is alive with the spirit of Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful condo. Mountain views, ocean views, overlooking a park that hosts a Saturday crafts market, 100 feet from the surf and within easy walking distance of everything in old Vallarta. Communicative and gracious owners. Security gate entrance. Friendly front desk staff.

Ideal Location for Gay Pride Events

We arrived at the unit and were pleased to find it homey, clean and comfortable. The terrace is ideal to overlook the plaza. We felt like we had box seats for the Gay Pride entertainment events and after Gay Pride we enjoyed the terrace for just enjoying the sunset and the opera singer who came out to perform every evening. The bed was comfortable and our third enjoyed sleeping on the sofa. The kitchen is nicely laid out and made meal prep easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool with bbq

10 days in the sun

Comfortable, but needs updating. A few tiles missing from kitchen counter and the cushions on the couches in living room need to be thicker, rather uncomfortable. Has a problem with ants, even though the apt was sprayed the second day we arrived. There are positives- great shower and lovely rooftop terrace. The gentlemen manning the front desk are very helpful and pleasant. Location is great, too.

Amazing! Pros vs Cons summary

The building is in a wonderful location to be near the ocean, eventful park, beautiful artwork, and bumpin nightlife. The decor is authentic Mexican and beautiful. It’s not super modern and that’s part of the charm! It is noisy from the balcony, but we were able to sleep with all doors open as the bedroom is in the back of the unit and we don’t mind waking up early. I loved joining the 8am Zumba class right below in the park. It’s a great spot for people watching at all hours! Lots of restaurants, coffee, shopping, etc nearby. The Saturday Market in the park is busy! The front office staff were friendly and helpful. They are there 24/7 and make a point to be familiar with you. There was some discrepancies between the owner and front desk’s information (i.e. if letter can be digital or printed, cleaning schedule, deposit for key, and recommended tips, etc) but none of those things are major and were easily workable! If I was asked what is a simple matter that could help improve our stay- I’d suggest replacing the towels and linens. The towels are stained and very old, as well as the sheets are stained. They are clean, just in very used condition. The towels were not replaced after the first clean (day 3) but the housekeeping quickly fixed that. The shower does drain slow and the pipes are old and rattling but the pressure is wonderful! We noticed the bedroom safe was without directions so we emailed the owner who replied it needs replaced. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons!

Overlooked the main plaza which was great. Direct access to the beach. We enjoyed Puesta del Sol and our friend Nacho. A terrific guy. Set us up with chairs and loungers every day. Enjoyed all the activity and groups on the beach. Close to the Malcom so we could walk over to el centro and enjoy that scene. Had good food at El Sonorito best Al pastor tacos around!Our pool was beautiful and area was great. Lots of chairs and clean.

What a fantastic location! We loved the roof top pool and the view from it. The staff was friendly and always willing to answer questions. The condo itself was perfect for the two of us. Would highly recommend this rental.

Unbeatable location!

I love this location and the proximity to the beaches, clubs, Malecone, restaurants, shops etc. The desk staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Quiet neighbouring occupants during my stay; there is negligible noise from the square/street... but to me that is alluring and not unreasonable given the area (bedroom is away from the street, so really only heard noise when in living/dining area). Internet TV and AC were in great working order during my stay. Pool, overall facilities and the unit were clean and functional except for the room safe which did not get repaired during my stay despite 2 requests (could not get lock bolts to retract to allow to to close/lock). Otherwise, the equipment by the owner are adequate and functional. Bed was quite comfy!! If I’m being really critical, and as such my 4/5 star overall ranking, the soft goods (curtains, cushions, pillows, towels, bed linens) were just OK, and could all use a good upgrade sooner rather than later. Still, I’d certainly recommend and stay again.

Disappointed

I love PV. I’ve been going for 20 years. I’ve stayed in almost every building on Los Muertos. There was no cable or internet for my entire stay. Others in the building had it without any issues. This was my second stay in this unit without internet, and sadly my last.

Best Value and Location in Vallarta

This condo is perfectly maintained and in the best location in Vallarta. You can walk to the best restaurants and shops. The malecon walkway to downtown starts outside the door. The pier for water taxis is a few blocks away. I would highly recommend this condo. We will be back!

Plazamar Condos

We have always stayed at an all inclusive resort when travelling but this year we decided to try staying in a condo to see if we liked it. We stayed at the Plazamar Condos for 10 days and absolutely loved it! We wont stay in an all inclusive again and would like to stay at Plazamar when we come back to Puerto Vallarta. The staff are wonderful and friendly as well as the guests we met there. I highly recommend Plazamar

Wonderful location in old town PV. The condo is clean and well maintained. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. Concierge was very helpful and housekeeping service every other day was good. Would definitely visit again!

Arrived in Puerto Vallarta on Saturday in one of their hottest weeks in a while. Got to the room, already sweating from the heat, and turned on the 2 air conditioners. The air never got colder. Called the desk and was told no one could check them until Monday. Called the property owner and was told, " Never had that complaint before! Open the windows and you'll enjoy the cool ocean breeze." Really! Not much of a breeze those 2 days. Monday, someone did come, put some refrigerant in the 2 units and the condo was way comfortable. Our stay overall was wonderful. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the Romantic Zone. Great cuisine and people! The condo was very comfortable and the amenities were great. Jimmy at the desk was extremely helpful and hospitable. Just don't arrive on the weekend in case the air isn't working. LOL! :)
