My favorite place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shorewood is one of my favorite places to stay on the island. We love the location to Coligny. The management is very responsive. The unit is always clean when we have stated here. I do think they need to update the mattresses and the coffee mugs. I know that sounds solid but they are very small and by the time you have had a few sips of coffee you need to refill again. It would be nice to have better cocktail glasses

We love Shorewood

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can’t beat this location on the island. I love the proximity to Coligney, the beach and pool. The pool is always cleaned every morning. The grounds are prestine. I love seeing the bunnies and the deer. We have stayed in this particular unit several times over the past couple years. The unit itself has nice colors and furniture. The bathroom countertops are updated. The primary shower head needs replaced. The pressure is very low The middle tub/shower has better pressure. All the mattresses need replaced in my opinion. I have thought that for the last couple years. The primary bedroom matters is tolerable but the queen and twin in the 2nd bedroom are very squeaky and bouncy. Overall, we love this complex and the view from this unit. I’m hoping mattresses will be replaced soon. It’s hard to pay top dollar and sleep terrible. We couldn’t get any of the TV’s to connect to the internet. We were able to connect our phones to the internet. The TV’s could be updated to smart tv’s for easier access. I’m sure if we had called the property manager they could have helped but we didn’t have to watch anything. We were always tired from a full day at the beach so it didn’t matter to us.

Vacation stay

Reviewer Comments: When we got there the elevator did not work so we had to drag our bags up to the third-floor and the towel rack in the bathroom was falling off the wall. HHI vacation

The condo location was terrific. We enjoyed the huge window facing the ocean and the pool. The condo floors and balcony had alot of sand on them and it could use updating. But as usual, we enjoyed the restaurants and bars on the island and had a great time!

Short but sweet last minute vacation

Enjoyed the lovely 2 bedroom condo very much. Perfect for family of 4. Location could not be better. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and cool shops. Huge pool and hot tub, property is very well kept. Easy access to the beach as well, with security gate to enter and exit the beach which I really appreciated so the general public cannot enter the property. I would highly recommend the property.

Nice unit but living room furniture could use a refresh.

Could have had basic condiments. I had to buy salt and pepper. That should be a standard. Also the shower and the bathtub was very dangerous for seniors. I couldn’t shave my legs there was no place to put you foot on. Someone could get hurt very easily.

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay at Shorewood. Great location, close to the pool & beach access. The views from the picture window and the balcony are amazing. The best! Nice kitchen. Beds were all comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook if we chose to. The master shower could use some TLC but it works and it was clean. Guest bath had some mold around the faucet, we cleaned it. Screen patio doors are hard to open and close but work. Overall a great place. The views are amazing and the location is perfect.

The unit did not seem to have much insulation because we could hear the until upstairs from us a lot. When we were inside we could also hear them when they were on their balcony. We stayed in Unit 311 in June of this year and never heard any noise from neighbors. All mattresses need to be updated. Needed more blankets. Unit over all was clean but light switch plates were dirty and bath tub shower curtains had mildew on them. Couch and furniture was comfortable. Arms of the chairs need scrubbed. It would be nice if they had a Roku or Firestick for TV's. The location and view of the condo is excellent. Location to Coligny shopping and restaurants is perfect.

Excellent Location!

The condo building is right next to the path to the pool and the beach. Easy access to restrooms and showers. The huge floor to ceiling living room window and slider in the primary bedroom has an amazing beach view! Kitchen is huge with plenty of storage and a washer/dryer. They even have some surfboards to use! Will definitely stay again.

Dissappointed

We have stayed at different Shorewood Villas for many years and enjoy the location and pool for our younger grandsons. This particular unit was lacking some things: 1. Needs a deadbolt for safety reasons; 2. Need hook(s) on back of bathroom door; 3. TV didn't work 80% of time. Kept freezing up; 4. Kept losing Wifi as well; 5. Kitchen was not well supplied with pots and pans; 6. TV size(s), especially the kids bedroom, were a joke. 7. Lamp switch in 2nd bedroom is broke; 8. Deck needs a smaller table in order for a family to utilize the space.

Excellent location, beautiful view!

Beautiful condo with updated bathrooms and kitchen. And the view! The view is amazing. We watched rabbits, deer, and osprey throughout the week. Shorewood 310 is really the best: close to the pool, beach view, easy access to the parking lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Condo was as advertised. Everything was fine. Beautiful view of ocean, nice pool, nice walkway to beach. Definitely on our list for next time.

Disappointing unit and complex

This property is very tired. It was not well cleaned (the property management offered to send someone in again but we did it ourselves to make sure it was done correctly. The entire unit is in desperate need of a refresh. The bed is absolutely terrible from a comfort stand point. Moldings are nasty, bathrooms are tired, window cranks are broken, screen door barely works. The hot tub that says 12 and over is filled with kids under 10 and no one is monitoring. I would not recommend this unit or complex to anyone. We stayed at another complex last year that was great...north of Coligny circle. The location is nice and the ocean was great.
