Family vacation in paradise

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The view from lanai is stunning! The best part of the day was sitting on the balcony in the morning, with our coffee, looking out at the ocean and watching the surfers. The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. My only suggestion is to provide 2 luggage racks per bedroom. As it is, we had to put our luggage on floor. Thank you for sharing your amazing property. I would definitely recommend to all.

Perfect Accommodations for Anniversary trip!

My F-I-L gave me a list of what he wanted for a 50th wedding anniversary for him and my M-I-L and my wife and my 25th. He didn't care where in Hawaii, but he wanted to be as close to the ocean as possible. From the moment we walked in the door until after we got back home, he kept saying how amazing it was that I got them everything they wanted on his list on this condo. Everyday we got to watch some very good surfing while listening to the waves crash. Everything is kept in great shape and the owner has done a great job maintaining and decorating the unit. Plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed. There was a closet with a bunch of stuff for the beach. We had brought along a beach tent and a couple of chairs and never had to go and rent or buy anything else. I highly recommend this unit. Close to everything along the strip while being far enough away to remain fairly quite.

Comfortable and well-appointed condo with amazing ocean views.

Enjoy the beach and ocean views by day and fall asleep to the sounds of the Pacific waves at night. This is the perfect vacation rental for three singles or even three couples. Located right on the beach and convenient to everything Kona has to offer. Very clean and well appointed. Great location from the management company and concierge. Highly recommend using the free concierge service to plan and book activities.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this condo and would definitely stay again. The location is convenient and the ocean views from the condo are spectacular. It was very clean on the inside and had everything we needed. The outside of the condo building is a little older than I expected, but the inside was nicely updated. I had one question for the property manager and they were quick to respond. I had read about a lot of noise in other reviews, but this was not the case for us unless you count the sound of the ocean!

Family Celebration in Paradise!

Unit was nicely updated, clean, with an amazing beachfront view. Appreciated the accommodation for 2 parking passes and the amenities of beach items. Propert management was top notch. Highly recommend!

Pure enchantment

Sitting on the balcony, you can watch the surfers and, we'll also say, a few whales. It was central to most everything by car, but it was nice to take the trolley into town for a relaxing time. If you want a true Hawaii vacation, this place is worth the expense. The location is just perfect, and I hope to make it back again one day. Bob

Holiday stay

Our family spent Christmas and new years at 401. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is everything the pictures show. Some of our issues were lack of AC, and it seemed it hadn’t been working for a while. Because of that, we had to leave windows open and Ali’i drive can be really loud at night. It’s also a big surfer beach which is really cool, unless you’re trying to sleep and you hear all their conversations. I think next time we wouldn’t pick a place as close to the road, maybe more insulated. However the condo was great, it got our family well, and there was no false advertising.

This place was fantastic, cant beat the views! The property was very clean and everything needed for our stay was provided. The management was very communicative and helpful. Location is close to the downtown area and beaches. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful

The pictures of the facility are very accurate. The view of the surfers were something we sat and watch each day. It was amazing. My grandchildren went down the stairs and there was a small sandy beach right below us that they practiced snorkeling. It was very well equipped and even the two front rooms had little white noise machine to help everyone sleep. Would highly recommend this unit. Thanks for a great experience

great stay near Kona

Very nice stay. We had a wonderful time. Accommodation was as expected. lovely location and well stocked condo. People should know that the most convenient way to enter condo requires 4 flights of stairs. A minor critique is that the paperwork required to complete the reservation is time consuming and extensive. Not the norm for this type of reservation. perhaps this could be improved.

Family Time in Paradise

The condo was well furnished, very comfortable and most of all, perfectly located with a beautiful view to enjoy nearby beaches (including the small one at the bottom of the stairs) and drives to Volcanoes NP and the visitor center at Mauna Kea Observatory. The barbecues worked easily plus the cook gets a fabulous Hawaiian sunset if you time it fight. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Kona family vacation

Fantastic Location

Just as described in the listing - right on the water, and a small convenient beach if you don't have the time to drive to a beach. Very comfortable unit and very nicely renovated. We were 5 adults, and there was plenty of space. It was great just sitting out on the lanai, listening to the ocean and enjoying the view.

The property location is awesome! Condo 401 is great. Its clean with updated style, nice artwork, fully appointed kitchen, beach items, comfortable beds, and million dollar views from the lanai! One small thing. It's probably time to replace the toaster.

Family vacation

Great condo and excellent location

This condo is well appointed and comfortable. Even with 6 of us staying there we never felt like we were on top of each other. The view of the ocean is fantastic and I’ve never slept better listening to the waves at night. Location is very convenient and minutes away from some great places to eat. We will be staying here again for sure.

Amazing view, comfortable condo, fantastic stay

This condo is a rare treat! It's located on the top floor of a small four-story complex overlooking a private beach and one of the top surfing spots on the island. The views are incredible and watching the surfers is so entertaining! Even though it's a surfing spot there is a little protected inlet that's like a small pool for kids to safely enjoy the ocean. The condo was spotless and felt very clean and safe. Every room has been very thoughtfully decorated. I loved the Hawaiian-themed artwork and relaxing color scheme. The kitchen has everything you'd need to make meals for a family of four to six. The beds are comfortable and the space is good for four people (six if you have little ones). The owners have done a great job of making the most of every inch of space available. The master bedroom AND bathroom overlook the ocean with the constant sound of the waves. The other two bedrooms look out at the volcano, but you do need to contend with the sound of traffic and the occasional obnoxiously loud car or bike. The privacy of the unit and condo is fantastic. You definitely feel like it's just you and your family. We all loved this condo and would stay here again.

The view!

It was a great family vacation with teens and grandparents. The view overlooking the ocean can not be beat! The trolley was so easy and took the us into town without any issues. Kona Coast was so quick to respond and helped us get in early to the condo when we arrived an hour ahead of schedule. I would definitely stay here again.

Kona gem

My family & friends stayed in this lovely 3-BR condo that was right on the ocean. Watched surfers during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. We ate all meals on the deck which was a nice feature. The condo had plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware etc. There were also beach chairs, beach umbrellas and cooler to use. We didn’t use the beach adjacent to the condo, preferring instead to go to a sandier beach. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! Being right on the coast meant we got beach time in every day. Location was perfect for the activities we had planned. Loved that we were in a corner unit on the top floor - it didn’t even feel like we were in a complex. Unit had everything we needed and was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. 100% would recommend!
