The cabin is very spacious and clean. It is also very well stocked with almost anything you would need which is a wonderful bonus when staying somewhere. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of cooking instruments and there are lots of spices and little things you cook with but don’t need much of which is awesome to not have to think about getting from the store. We loved being right by the river and having the fire pit. The house is very close to the main part of town but also seems more secluded which was nice. The host was very responsive and seemed to care about our time spent in the area which was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent three nights at this lovely house along the Gunnison River in September. It was spacious inside and makes for a great for a vacation home. All the windows along the living room and dining area created a lovely outdoorsy atmosphere even when inside. The outside deck was big, and the backyard was beautiful with the river running by. It is close to a major road, but that did not take away from the peaceful setting. I would definitely stay here again. I loved it!

Great location close to Gunnison and on the river. The cabin has a quaint feel with nice uodates in the bath and kitchen. Loved the hammock in the back yard. Very relaxing! A bit close to a major road so there is road noise. Host was very helpful and available when needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The home was well kept, and in a beautiful location. The host was super friendly and very communicative. We were within 30 min from Crested Butte, and close to some stores so you are definitely able to get your essentials and food in the area. We would love to come back to this location in the future!

Charming cabin with lots of natural light off a quiet road and looks out onto the Gunnison River about 2 miles north of town. River access was great, yard was lovely, and getting to stores in town as well as up the mountain to Almost and Crested Butte was convenient and easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

We loved our stay! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was enough room for our family of five. The kids enjoyed the chest table and corn hole. We enjoyed every evening sitting by our propane fire pit by the river since there was a fire ban. Alain was was very helpful throughout the stay.

Wonderful property with beautiful back yard that backs up to the river. Clean, quaint and a perfect mountain getaway. Host communication and friendliness was outstanding.

We really enjoy Alain as a rental host. He is great. Comes over anytime he is needed to fix something and is more than accountable. He is a real keeper.This is our 3rd year renting for a month but to be real honest the house needs a lot of maintenance and updating. Also as cheap as televisions are these days it is totally ridiculous to have a TV the size for a kids room in a large living room. Needs new towels and sheets too. Using kitchen towels for hand towels in the bathroom is unacceptable.The best thing going for it is the property on the river. Sad to say if we come back next year we will be finding a different house.P.S. The leaves were beautiful in Crested Butte this year. (2nd week of Sept)

The setting was wonderful and the host was very attentive to anything we might need. Thank you for a great stay! (Note that vrbo required that we rate the ski experience to submit this review; we didn't ski at all as it was only October)

Great little cabin on the river. The backyard is beautiful and nicely thought out. A great stay for a long weekend with family.

Great stay

The view of the river from the yard was amazing. The house is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Crested Butte which was only a half hour away.
