You're in the heart of Denver! This lovely private quiet newly remodeled 2 BR/ 1 bath brick carriage house, with a patio table area, sits behind an 1893 Victorian in historic Whittier neighborhood. You are two blocks from beautiful City Park (with golf, trails, lake, playground, boathouse, and tennis), Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Science & Nature. Walk to cafes and 17th Street/Uptown restaurants. You are a 12 minute walk (2 min drive) to the Uptown health district including St. Luke's Pres and St Josephs hospitals. Short drive to: Downtown, 16th Street Mall, Union Station, LoDo, Coors Field, RiNo Arts District, Botanic Gardens, Cherry Creek Mall, Fillmore and Ogden Theaters, and more. You are 10-15 minutes from everywhere you'd want to be in Denver!

The space: You will feel at home in this peaceful carriage house, yet so close to everything Denver has to offer. Exposed brick walls, wood floors, high ceilings, stainless steel/granite kitchen, with original art throughout this beautiful retreat. Full kitchen with chef supplies, hi speed WiFi and a Roku Smart TV where you can access Netflix and your other channels (no cable). You will have access to the entire house, all to yourselves, for your entire stay. Come and go as you please with self-check-in and keypad code entry.

The neighborhood: You will be two blocks from beautiful City Park where you can enjoy the walking and biking trails, golf (brand new course is open!), tennis, lake with boats and boathouse, the Denver Zoo and the wonderful Denver Museum of Science and Nature. Blocks from Presbyterian St. Luke's and Saint Joseph hospitals (walking distance). Short drive or bike ride will get you Downtown, Coors Field, LoDo, RiNo and to all the other great neighborhoods and attractions that Denver has to offer.

Getting around: Parking is widely available on the street in front of the main house. Uber/Lyfts usually arrive within 3 minutes. Buses run regularly 1.5 blocks away on York. Car2Go is available throughout central Denver.

Nearby park and quiet neighborhood

We spent a week visiting our son who had moved to Denver in June. The home was clean and had all the amenities needed to prepare a meal. Nearby in walking distance was a park and two coffee shops. Highly recommended.

Nice cottage

Very roomy and pleasant cottage behind a house. Had no problems with parking on the street or getting in. Very convenient location for the zoo and science museum. Accommodation was comfortable and had all the basics we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked well stocked. I personally found the king bed too soft for my liking, but the other beds were firmer and comfortable. Everything we used was clean, though the ceiling exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a wipe down. Would stay again if we came back to town!

Denver Cottage

As advertised, the Denver Cottage was perfect. Clean, well appointed and a terrific location for any Denver activity. And parking was was always available on Vine Street in front. We’ll definitely stay there again next time in Denver

Clean, comfortable and well located

Nice property in a cute neighborhood next to City Park Comfortably fit our party of 4 adults (no couples) - even the couch provided a good night's sleep Only suggestion is to get better toilet paper

Great spot near everything

Really enjoyed our stay at this property near City Park. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Well stocked with things you’d need to cook, do laundry, bathe, etc. plenty of blankets and pillows and super comfortable beds! We enjoyed the puzzle and books and endless TV choices for the time we spent indoors. Street level parking was never an issue - we were here a week and parked directly in front of the house every single time we returned to the property. Very close (under 3 miles) to just about anything you’d want to do in town. Will definitely look this one up for future visits to the city!

Great location!! Close to City Park

We loved this location and walked everywhere we visited. It was close enough to the Denver Museum of Nature and History, swan boats in City Park, Botanical Gardens, and we enjoyed restaurants Syrup and Cherry Tomato. The kitchen was fully stocked with amenities we used in cooking for our family. The place was cozy and comfortable for the 5 of us to enjoy relaxing in the space when we needed time to relax and we enjoyed hanging out in the yard at the little bistro table playing games in the late afternoon & having coffee in the morning. Great towels/ bedding/ throw blankets and great shower toiletries and lotion. Super communication with hosts and easy check in process. One downfall was this place could supply better toilet paper.

Wonderful stay in Denver

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this property, for our first time in Denver. The neighborhood was quiet, with a wonderful location just minutes from the zoo and Museum of Nature and Science. We also loved being able to walk to a really nice playground in City Park as well some great breakfast options. Check in was easy and the property was very welcoming and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the puzzles and games, as well. We would definitely enjoy staying here again, if we are ever in the area.

Beautiful, spacious abode

This carriage house was full of natural light, impeccably clean and well-appointed. Conveniently located within walking distance to the zoo, museum, cafes and more. Our family of 5 enjoyed a lovely summer weekend in Denver! We will definitely return.

Holiday Weekend in Denver

This is the perfect spot, and it was just what we were looking for. It is just a short walk from beautiful City Park, which we took advantage of, and it is an easy drive downtown or out of town from there. Only 30 minutes from the airport. We highly recommend this rental, in fact, for our next visit we plan to stay here again.

Great location for Colfax Marathon!

Perfect spot for our family spring break

This was the perfect spot for our Spring break getaway from Wisconsin. Our family of 4 was very comfortable here. Clean, very well equipped, hosts were great communicators and location was perfect. We walked to a breakfast spot and it was a quick Uber ride to downtown spots. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Spring Break 2024

The house itself is wonderful. Wide open space and enough beds for Grampa, Gramma and the two boys. Directions are pretty clear and signage is onsite to direct you to the carriage house. Just a narrow sidewalk that is being over crowded by the shrubs is the only downside to this property. We had a wonderful time. Near enough to Coors Field, Ball Stadium and Mile High Stadium for a quick drive.

Relaxed and cozy

Amazing space for 2 people. Clean, well decorated, historical spot. Close to many of the activities the city has to offer yet private and quiet. We enjoyed taking it slow on a snowy day- super cozy. Thank you!

Beautiful , quaint carriage house in lovely neighborhood.Absolutely loved it! Owners provided great information about everything we needed and directions about check in/out were detailed and easy to follow. If we are ever in Denver again this is where we would stay !
