Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this new fully furnished, 1_bedroom/_1bath _home The24x16 bedroom (upstairs) has a king size bed, full size futon(sleeps two),and a queen size Sleeps number bed. Sleeps 6 guests. Downstairs is a small kitchen/dining area, and a full size bathroom with tub/shower. Very private. no neighbors, no streetlights. Excellent stargazing. New hot tub and deck installed Dec 2023 Only a mile from Taos Mesa Brewpub(best music venue in northern NM) Only thirty minutes to world renowned Taos Ski Valley. Only a few miles to black rock hot springs . 2 1/2 acre lot.

Beautiful property

Perfect property for a quiet family stay in the mountains near Taos. Slept with the windows open for a cool desert breeze.

Great Location, all you need

The house is almost like a loft. A bit small but perfect for a couple or family/friends. Can’t beat the view in the hot tub at night if the sky is clear. Right on the edge of town.

Couple day stay

Clean and comfortable home, although there were a handful of houses that were closer than expected. Beautiful views! Great place to stay for a couple days!

Peaceful Property

I really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful this property was. Beautiful sunsets, and I got to watch the fireworks in Taos from the front yard. Beautiful location to see the stars as well.

Great glamping stay

It wasn’t as close to the sand dunes as we thought but it’s still close enough and it didn’t disappoint. My kids loved exploring the sand dunes nearby. The natural parks and hiking spots nearby were great too. And they loved the tent and free s’mores. We had a great time.

Ski Trip

Great little place about 30 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Safe and secure neighborhood and very easy to get in and out for our ski weekend. Loved having access to a hot tub to soak our muscles. Beds and entire house was very clean, warm and inviting. Communication with the host with directions and any necessary info was prompt, easy and thorough. Were highly recommend staying here.

Great weekend in Taos

Inside was as advertised. Beds and TV upstairs, kitchen and bathroom down. It was clean but there was no place to sit and relax.It was secluded and had great views. It was a good spot for our dogs.

Desert delight!

This was a last minute booking for a single night while returning to Houston from Colorado. John was nice enough to rent to us for a single night and the place fit our needs perfectly, and the hot tub soak after hours on the road was just what we needed! Thanks John, we'll rent again next time through!

Great place, close to everything- VALUE

We were close to everything and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Took us 5-7 mins to get to town and enjoy the local restaurants. Skiing and tubing were a 20-30 minute drive and there were many options. The house was clean and we had no issues. This was an awesome vacation for our family of 6.

Excellent stay, not disability friendly

This was an amazing property. It’s very rural, quiet, the owner is excellent and very accommodating. I did have an issue with my mom stay with me who has mobility issues. The stairs are steep and numerous and there isn’t a bathroom on the floor with the bedrooms so it wasn’t accessible. But overall, I would recommend to anyone who is in the area and had transportation and is able bodied.

Perfect Escape

This was a very much needed time away. It was so beautiful and quiet yet still close enough to town. The house was clean and the beds were very cozy and comfortable. You know it was a great trip when the 4 year old cries that she doesn't want to go home! The property and house had all the basics to make the stay perfect even for our little Boston terrier we brought along with us.

Perfect peace in El Prado

Longtime lover of Taos, I was seeking a spot my family and I could stay in town for a memorial over the weekend. Knowing this location was a short 10 minute drive into town, it was peace and quiet we were seeking. This little gem of a property delivered! Everything was extremely clean new and easily accessible. The written instructions, maps, etc. were helpful. Solid Wi-Fi, temperature controlled, sufficient kitchen. Beds were comfier than some I have slept in at the Ritz! The restroom is downstairs, so if you have to go in the middle of the night like I do it is a consideration.The hot tub is KILLER! Taos Mesa Brewing is across the field, you may catch a surprise concert from the deck however the noise does not disturb inside, either. The access dirt road is well maintained will not hurt the average car if you know how to handle it. The only drawback is that my six-year-old was ready to move in, can’t wait to come and stay here again!

Anniversary Weekend

It was such a beautiful stay. We felt right at home, It was very peaceful. The hot tub was amazing same with the view! Very close to Taos. Will definitely come back!
