Gorgeous oceanfront high rise, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. We are located on the 10th floor with a spectacular, panoramic views of the ocean. Step onto the balcony and enjoy the ocean while having your morning coffee or evening wine. The oceanfront bedroom has a balcony as well. Wake up to the amazing sunrises over the ocean, and maybe see some dolphins. Full-size kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including microwave oven, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and an amazing ocean view. The second bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo and large walk-in closet. This room has a beautiful sunset view of the bay and Moody Gardens. Cable TV and high-speed internet are provided. The building features a lovely pool, tennis courts, laundry facilities, and two parking lots with plenty of easy parking.

We are located right on the seawall across from the popular Babe's Beach. Close proximity to lots of wonderful restaurants like Jimmy's on the Pier and fun attractions like Moody Gardens, Magic Carpet Golf and many more.

Galveston is wonderful during the off-season as well with gorgeous weather, no crowds, holiday events like Dickens on the Strand, Moody Gardens events and more.

Perfect and peaceful

Had a great time here. Love the access to the beach and the convenience to great restaurants and groceries. Condo was clean and quiet. Management was welcoming.

Great Place for a Family

We lived our stay here. Close to the beach. Property had everything and more that we needed for a wonderful weekend away. My boys enjoyed their time here!

Galveston Get-away By the Sea

This unit is on the 10th floor with a balcony overlooking the water and beach from across the street. Road noise was not an issue in our opinion. This condo was clean and well furnished. Our host was attentive and gracious from start to finish. We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and she even left us a lovely bottle of wine. Thank you for a great weekend stay and a beautiful view for this memory-maker.

Galveston get away

Clean and convenient property on seawall but down from the main strip so less noise Was disappointment that we also had to pay a $30 per vehicle parking fee but I guess that was to prevent non guests from parking there

Good place to stay...we will be back

Very nice condo. Well appointed; well kept. Great view. We will definitely book it again. Only negative: When it came time to sit on the balcony with a margarita, we found out the ice maker in the refrigerator was not working. I had to go to a local convenience store to buy a bag of ice before margarita time.

Wonderful vacation spot

We really enjoyed our spring break in this condo. It is beautiful ,has all the amenities. The balcony view is waterfall. Fully stocked with dishes, linens, and anything you might need. The decor is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. . Everything so beachy. Can’t wait till we return.😎

Great location

We really enjoyed our recent stay at By The Sea condo. The condo was clean and comfortable. The view from the 10th floor was amazing. The weather was not warm enough to enjoy to enjoy the pool but it was sparkling. Laundry room was on the first floor but was still easy to use and clean. Front desk attendants were always friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. RuthAnn was great to work with and we were able to add two days to our stay.

Condo with a view!

Location, location, location!!! It is across from the street on the beach front. We enjoyed the sunrise from the balcony. Even it is the winter, the weather was very nice. The accommodation is dated and needs an upgrade, especially the mattresses for the beds. Bring you own eating and kitchen utensils, if you plan to cook in. The location staff was very helpful.

importance of communication

the stay was great, the property absolutely perfect but we had communication issues when attempting to check in. seems that no one had sent an e-mail to us with check in procedures and door code. the attendants at the condos were very helpful and went out of their way to help us resolve the issue

Beautiful Condo - Location, Location, Location - Stunning Gulf View - See and Hear the Waves

Our stay at this property was outstanding. I is impossible to find a better view in town in a condo vacation rental. THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING. The property is perfectly located very close to all the dining, nightlife that the historic Seawall in Galveston has to offer and access to the downtown historic Strand. The building itself is well maintained and has a nice pool and outdoor grill area. Although the property is a residential building, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day to assist should you need some information. We were impressed with out interactions with the property manager/owner of this unit. Ms. Cassidy was very responsive to any questions that we had leading up to our stay and after. I would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful view!

The view is the draw to this spot! Nice and clean. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to the “added touch.” A few added touches could truly make this place a great stay in Galveston. Upgrade the sheets, add some blankets and have a few beach towels on hand. Also, I know this is a rental, but upgrading the paper towels and toilet paper and having Kleenex on hand would really upgrade this rental. There was a blanket in the room by the balcony, but unfortunately whomever washed it last did not dry it all the way so it smelled moldy. The mop in the master closet definitely does not need to be stored in the master closet. The TV situation is really dated. The tv in the master bedroom did not work at all. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but adding some more hand towels and hot pads would be nice. Overall, nice view just needs a little attention to detail. I will say the front office staff was very friendly and helpful. You do have to buy a parking pass and the laundry facilities are NOT located in the unit. They are located on the first floor.

DOES NOT MATCH DISCRIPTION- owners not willing to fixing things in a timely manner

WOW... where to start?!?! The view was great and that's about all that was accurate in the listing. First off, the guest shower didn't work (I've been told it's been fixed) but wasn't fixed during our stay, even though we contacted the owners multiple times. There was broken glass, broken lamp, broken bed, multiple light bulbs needed replaced AND did I mention, they didn't even clean it! The owners admitted to not cleaning it but still charged us full price. This place is far from glamorous! It's actually pretty beat up. Some elbow grease, time and paint would definitely help but the owners are pretty set on getting their money and being ok with the place being little to be desired. The property manager was willing to communicate in a timely manner BUT never fixed any of our problems while we were there and kept giving excuses. After complaining and asking for a partial refund, they did offer for us to come back in the future... however, we decided the uncomfortableness was not worth our effort. If your standards are very low, stay here.

Bad experience

The owner literally on the day of our trip canceled our unit, we are a less than a hour away from the unit And I called to verify how to check in she explains s they had a leak and we need to look for another unit. She could have at least called us the night before as she explain it happens the day before our check in that would have made it easier for us to cancel n find a new date. We had to spend more money to find a place to stay . Our weekend was ruined and spent more than we needed

Beautiful, clean home

The apartment looked just like the listing. Very cozy and clean. The staff working in the building are very friendly and kind. However, we did have to go buy our own trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. We didn’t receive the email or text with the instructions to check in, but when we called she picked up immediately and helped us get checked in. We also couldn’t get hot water in the kitchen, the dishwasher didn’t work very well and there were dirty dishes in the cabinets when we arrived. Despite those minor issues, we LOVED the condo and we had a great stay.
