Gorgeous oceanfront high rise, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. We are located on the 10th floor with a spectacular, panoramic views of the ocean. Step onto the balcony and enjoy the ocean while having your morning coffee or evening wine. The oceanfront bedroom has a balcony as well. Wake up to the amazing sunrises over the ocean, and maybe see some dolphins. Full-size kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including microwave oven, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and an amazing ocean view. The second bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo and large walk-in closet. This room has a beautiful sunset view of the bay and Moody Gardens. Cable TV and high-speed internet are provided. The building features a lovely heated pool, tennis courts, laundry facilities, and two parking lots with plenty of easy parking ($35 plus tax per stay for parking).

We are located right on the seawall across from the popular Babe's Beach. Close proximity to lots of wonderful restaurants like Jimmy's on the Pier and fun attractions like Moody Gardens, Magic Carpet Golf and many more.

Galveston is wonderful during the off-season as well with gorgeous weather, no crowds, holiday events like Dickens on the Strand, Moody Gardens events and more.

Yes, By the Sea is an older building, however, the HOA has done a lot of remodeling and upgrades lately ~ including remodeling the entire downstairs lobby and adding a work out room, two lounge areas and a coffee bar. They have a lot of projects underway and are making many improvements! Glad you enjoyed the condo ~ you really can't beat the incredible views from the 10th floor plus the beach being so close. Thank you for being such great guests ~ we would love to host you again anytime!

Great location with an outstanding view! Very clean property and really friendly front desk people. Communication with Ruthann was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next summer. The condo was great, Perfect location to the beach and restaurants. The condo was amply supplied with everything a person would need, however I would like to see more bath towels and hand towels in the bathrooms but that did not create a great problem for us.

Everything was WONDERFUL!! We thoroughly enjoyed the view. The sound of the waves from the balcony was just breathtaking. The front desk service was exceptional. The only concern was the temperature of the room was very difficult to control. We adjusted the temperature,, but it did not respond very well. There also was a leak that we reported Tuesday, was looked at Wednesday but no service provided as of Thursday evening. With that said, we definitely would rent again. We had the most amazing time here in this condo!!!

I did message you to check and see if everything was going well and I was available by phone or text message to answer any questions so I was unaware that you had any issues. The wi-fi instructions are on the tv stand in the living room beside the wi-fi box and tv on a laminated page. I really appreciate your feedback and I will definitely provide more written materials in the condo including check out instructions which are only to put dirty dishes in dishwasher, used towels in the tub and lock up. Thank you again for choosing our condo for your Galveston beach trip and I hope you and your friends had a lovely time!
