The Cabin
All our cabins at Ponderosa Place feature vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and log accents. Kitchens have everything you need to cook except ovens... Stove tops, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee pot, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils are provided. Each cabin has AC units to help you cool down as well as cove heat if you are visiting in the cooler months. All linens and towels are provided along with basic soaps.

Outside Space
Cool off in the shared back yard with gentle log swing and seating area all under our huge willow tree. Or stretch your legs and let the kids burn some energy off in the two shared large front yards! There is a swing set for the kiddos, and 2 firepits for evening enjoyment.

Located just a few blocks off the main street in Custer you can walk to the grocery store along with shopping and restaurants!

This unit had a better kitchen than one I had previously stayed in. It had a medium-sized refrigerator/ freezer. There is a great grocery store with reasonable prices just down the hill, Lynns Dakota Mart. The Mickelson Trail and a small Park are easily accessed a few blocks away.

Very cute little cabin (although I thought it was a stand alone cabin-was actually a row of connected cabins), quiet neighborhood, nice outside seating, very close to downtown Custer.

Great location!

This place was perfect stopping location on the way out to Yellowstone! Very nice, comfy, and close to the main street to explore. Very close to all the main attractions! Would definitely stay here again!

Cosy. Custer cabin

Wonderful 1 bedroom cabin in Custer S. Dakota. The cabin is rustic in decor, cosy and comfortable. The cabin is close downtown, easy walking distto grocery restaurants and things to do. We had a terrific vaca.

Great Place to Stay

Really enjoyed staying at Ponderosa Place. The cabin was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Stayed three nights and so glad I chose this place. Parking in front of the unit and within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store in Custer. So convenient! Sure beats staying in a hotel room.

Custer Buffalo Round up

Highly recommend

This was a great little cabin and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do in the area. Clean and cute with all the amenities. Crystal is wonderful and available for any needs or questions. We will definitely stay here again if we make a trip back.

Nice and clean

The cabin felt clean, which is my top priority. While it was not fancy it provided us with the essentials. Also the location was great. We would stay here again.
