We had a great stay! It was the perfect long weekend house. It was so well stocked and super convenient to the beach. The host was lovely and we would highly recommend.

The host was great quick response to any questions. Great location. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Rooms were exactly as listed. This was our 2nd time staying and we definitely will come again

The house and host were outstanding! Great communication throughout the process from booking to checkout. We stayed 4 nights with 2 college aged boys and a 6 yr old. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was more than accommodating for our family.The house was clean and exactly as described and stocked with everything we could need. There were beach chairs, toys and a wagon for use and the beach access is an short easy walk from the house. Everyone agreed we would stay here again. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay and everything was as advertised in the listing! Our kids enjoyed the beach toys available and having handicap beach access (carrying kids, a wagon etc) was an extra nice perk!

Great space!

We loved our time at this place! The house was clean, and only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach! They also have beach chairs and toys for all ages!

The place was Awesome. The owner was very kind and helpful. It was a nice easy access to the beach,

After two bad renting experiences and only a month or less from the last bad one until vacation this ended up being the best of value for everything, beach, shopping, and kindness just couldnt ask for better

Perfect beach spot!

We had a great time! The house was very clean, and the location was a nice short walk to the beach! Also, we enjoyed all of the beach items that were there. Overall great stay, and we will definitely stay again!

Very clean with all the needed amenities. Loved having a Kuerig. Great communication and instructions leading up to the stay. Also perfect location for our needs. We would rent again.

The property is older but has everything you need! I’m not used to having such a well stocked vrbo!The cleaning was pretty good but there was hair here and there on the floor (bathroom) and the legs of the tables and chairs had a bit of grime. Nothing that affected us - just the cleaning company may not be getting to the details. I understand as I have kids.The home is located a block from the beach and offers the ability to walk so easily to putt putt and breakfast - a great location!!We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again!

Just as described

Loved the area and house was just as described. Kitchen was a little dated but it was clean and got the job done! Beds were comfy and plenty of seating in dining area and living room. Great location! Very short walk to the beach! Great family vacation spot!

Great Home Made us feel like our own house

Everything was great! They home was perfect for us. Beds and even the Couches were very comfortable. Communication with owner was A++++ house was ready and clean. Access to the beach was perfect. I highly recommend you stay here.

AWESOME ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The house is amazing!!! We really enjoy sitting outside at night, and this place provided great areas to do that. I was a little worried about how long it would take us to walk to the beach, but when the listing says 5 minutes it is literally 5 minutes (I timed it ). Great location, short drive to shopping and entertainment. Myrtle beach attractions are not a far drive. If you want a great place to eat try Becks in Calabash.

Idle Hour stay

Overall, nice home. Mostly clean, some kids hand prints on the sliding doors. Had to kill roaches/palmetto bugs each night that were in the living room area. Excellent stock of everything & nice walking distance to beach access. Not too far from the pier/center of the island. Great number of beds.

Gosh! So sorry you had those irritating beach/water bugs to deal with. I was down to the house 2 weeks earlier to regroup it from the first group of renters and had no issues. Will fog the downstairs/exterior storage rooms as that helps tremendously. FYI- Your frying pan will be traveling home on Sunday. Will get with you to arrange pick-up.

Great home away from home!

We had a great time in Ocean Isle Beach, and completely loved this home! It was so comfortable and welcoming. The beds and furniture were wonderful and relaxing. The house is decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host does not provide towels or linens, so we ordered those from a local company. When ordering towels, only get bath and beach towels... kitchen towels are provided. Melinda, our host, was wonderful to work with. She was prompt in answering questions and addressing any issues that came up during our stay. We would definitely stay here again! It is close to the beach & just about anything else you want to get to on the island. I would recommend renting a golf cart. We did, and enjoyed having it for trips to the beach, store, etc. We had a great time and can't wait to go back! Thank you again for everything, Melinda!
