Post Christmas getaway

Can’t beat the ocean front location, and the home was a perfect fit for our family with the primary suite, kitchen,dining and living rooms in rear portion of house, overlooking back patio and walkway to beach. Additional bedrooms are on front portion of house and separated by nice enclosed patio/play area. Highly recommended. Will likely become an annual stay for us.

Great property for family

As a family of six adults and one infant, we appreciated having the two separate buildings for privacy. The kitchen was well appointed and it was nice being so close to the beach where we enjoyed daily walks.Guests definitely need a car to get around the island. My only peeve was that we were expected to bring our garbage to a dumpster at the other end of the complex “to help our housekeeper”. For what we paid for this villa, we should not have had to be running around as we are trying to leave emptying cans and driving garbage to a dumpster. Overall, we were very pleased with the villa, appreciated getting the extra blanket when requested (the master bedroom only had a coverlet and it was cold some nights) and we would recommend the property.

Felt & furnished like a home

We had 5 adults and a dog for Amelia Island Dance Festival. we've stayed in lots of beach properties, this one felt like a home v a . There was plenty of space, the furniture was comfortable v cheap, and the kitchen was stocked enough to cook. Great outdoor spaces we could enjoy.

95174 Sandpiper Loop

Love the location of this villa. It was great for my family of 5 adults and 2 grandkids. The layout was wonderful for us. It might be time to upgrade the stove in the kitchen. We had to also clean out the microwave but these are minor. The twin bedroom bathtub may need some upgrades also. All in all I would stay here again. Grandsons loved all the lizards and rabbits on property. Thank you

Three Star

Sand dunes were too difficult to get to the beach for anyone with limited mobility. The wi do was not working consistently in the bedrooms. Bedrooms were nice to have the extra space and bathrooms. Loved the set up and lots of space! Clean. Light in the garage did not work either did the garage door opener. Lights in the dining room and big lamp in the living room didn't work or we couldn't find the switch. We loved the white and seclusion. Loved the patio and deck. Taking the garbage was very inconvenient. It was quite a walk and sign said to use the blue wagon, which was broken and not useable. A microwave would nice. An umbrella or shade on the deck would be nice. Overall, beautiful, relaxing and so thankful we got a key to the gate to have access to the beach. Thanks for a great vacation spot!

Great rental

One improvement would be to be able to lock the sliging glass door to the beach so that it can be locked by key to safeguard the unit while at the beach. There is no way to do this per your employee that left me a nessage. It would benefit the owners knowing their home is secure. There is a keyed lock on the door but saw no key inside the unit that worked. This would be a huge safety improvement. There is no other way to access the beach from this unit other than the sliding glass doors. Please make this improvement. We love this place!

Beach Front Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation! We had a small problem with the coffee maker and it was quickly resolved! The house was very comfortable and was perfect for our family! The back porch was a wonderful reading spot! The patio enclosure made it nice for our dog that joined us! The only negative is that trucks are allowed on the beach in this area. The trucks parked where they wanted, get stuck, & would drive up & down the beach. Our 6 year old daughter has low vision so we constantly had to be alert for cars.Thankfully in March during the week the beach traffic did decrease during the week.

Location great and great set up for family with kids or even two families!

We have stayed next door to the same rental before and just love the location. Boardwalk over the dunes is like new and easy access to the beach. Setup of the rental has a small courtyard that separates the main house with a smaller guest cottage that is great for kids old enough to want some space. Allows parents a place to get some time together and the kids a space that they can congregate and still be behind a locked door leading out of the courtyard street side. We love this property and will return again for sure!

Fabulous Away Home

We love everything about this property! The great beach access, spacious living space, beautifully furnished, well stocked kitchen, comfortable courtyard and that we can bring our two pugs. This has become our preferred summer vacation location with our daughter's family of four. My wife and I came this month, by ourselves for a week, to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We loved being at this home and visiting our favorite local restaurants!! A shout out to Mark for his great responses for the few issues we have encountered over the years. Mark has always exceeded expectations!! Thanks, Mark!!

family vacation

this was our first time vacationing with our new son in law so the townhome with the courtyard was the perfect set up for our family of five. we very much enjoyed the property and felt like everything we needed was there. The back deck and walkway to the beach were ideal. morning coffee on the deck was very nice with the sounds of the ocean in the background and the bunnies and turtles walking around the back yard. the downtown is lovely and great to walk around at night. great , casual places to eat but also nicer restaurants all around if that is what's preferred. we had an issue with the washing machine overflowing but maintenance came out quickly and fixed the problem. my only real issue was that we were not aware that cars were allowed on the section of beach that we were staying on. I would have preferred to know that up front as it would have factored into our decision to book this property. this was our second time coming to Amelia and we stayed on the Omni complex last year and didn't experience that. it was something that would weigh into my choice to book again. other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Even Nicer Than the Pictures

This place is a pretty great “find”. Really perfect for two couples or a family of five. We were a a group of four old friends getting together and it was a very, very good choice. Lovely set-up for visiting and catching up while offering privacy. The property is very well appointed, very clean, very well-maintained. Furnishings are nicer than you typically find at beach rentals. Kitchen better stocked than most rentals. Very close to the Ritz-Carlton. It felt very private but two of the four units were not occupied. Bunnies everywhere-kinda cool. We felt the place was a good value for the size and quality. All in all first rate. Would highly recommend. Only slight cons: Two of the four tvs didn't work in the bedrooms. It was a little weird that we we were given a code to get in PRECISELY at 4pm (good to know if you drove far and difficult to time) and no one during the entire stay checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We had a way to contact them to be fait, but, given all the trouble the owner's have gone to it seemed a little odd. No big deal. Lastly, they want you to leave PRECISELY at 10am, which is fine but there is literally a “meter running” from the first minute. None of these things inconvenienced us-just, the place is amazingly warm and cozy, the service a little cold. Would still HIGHLY RECOMMEND and would happily stay here again.

UNEQUIVICALLY THE BEST!

We love to vacation at the beach and have stayed at Inns, Hotels, Private Homes and Condos from as far north as Outer Banks to as far south as Amelia. We have been skunked a few times because of embellished descriptions and photos as websites. So, we were SO thrilled when we arrived at 95174 Sandpiper, to find that it was even better than described. We were a group of 7 family members, so the layout of this unit was just the best! Whoever designed this unit is genius, and we are so thankful that the owner is willing to offer it to the public. Extremely spacious, beautifully detailed, best equipped and furnished rental we have EVER stayed in. We felt as if we were vacationing in a friends' home...minus the individual. It was THAT comfortable and COMPLETE. Our private boardwalk took us right to the water's edge in a jiffy; we couldn't stay away. Very clean beach area, grand views from inside-out. Courtyard and oceanside patio were very private (though you could hear neighbors if you were nosy enough to "engage"). I can't stress how spacious and delightful in every way this property is. Parking was spacious and right at the front door. No worries if you forget something, it is all there just waiting for you to arrive and put your feet up! Saltlife restaurant and Sliders were great; able to get good tables and swell service. Everything easy to get to via a short drive; it's all there. Noteably, Management is never "incommunicado"..always available if/when you need them, a real plus! Obviously, we can't say enough good things about out stay in this unit. Already planning to return as soon as we can.

Perfect Trip for the Family and Dogs

The place was perfect. Location is close to the restaurants and IMO the best cigar shop in NE Florida. Walking out to the beach right from the condo is amazing, we did it often. Checking out the Gopher Tortoises each time we took the walk from the condo over the dunes to the beach was a highlight. We brought our dogs on this trip. Many dog friendly locations may not be the best for obvious reasons, but not the case here. The two additional rooms on the other side of the courtyard, not connected to the main house, seemed unusual before we saw the setup, but ended up being perfect once we arrived. Look no further, book here.

Wonderful rental!

Great House

Great House! Well stocked and boardwalk straight to the beach! Wish I would have known that the part of the beach the house is on allowed cars. Took away from the experience with cars lining the beach. House is well stocked, but the 2 bedroom across the courtyard do smell musty and the carpets could use a cleaning or replacing. Overall not a bad experience.

Beautiful place to stay

absolutely beautiful place to stay, easy to get to, right on the beach, beds are comfortable. The only thing I would add is some throws for the couch, there were no extra blankets in the house, so bring some extra blankets especially if you have kids that want to snuggle while they watch TV.
