Experience old Florida from this updated beach cottage located directly on the warm sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico! We survived the last 2 hurricanes with no interior damage and are ready for you to enjoy the beach! Just step off your porch and into the sand - just steps to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and fantastic sunsets! No stairs to climb - just park in your private carport, roll your suitcase a few feet and welcome to Paradise! The new kitchen features an open floorplan with white shaker cabinets, granite counters and a full-size stainless kitchen - including a refrigerator with icemaker, built-in microwave, 5-burner stove and dishwasher and a breakfast bar with bar stool seating! The bathroom is new too, with a walk-in shower! Home has all new furnishings, including a King-sized bed in the private master bedroom, queen-sized sofa sleeper, 2 flat screen TV's - one with ROKU, an Alexa, washer/dryer in unit, beach chairs, towels, all linens and a fully-stocked kitchen - including a combo Keurig - coffee pot and pods! Just bring your swimsuit!

Cottage by the Sea

This quaint little cottage is right on the gulf. We enjoyed miles of beautiful beach with abundant sea shell gathering. Highly recommend the Voila Merci French bakery across the street. Absolutely delicious!

Winter Getaway

You can’t get any closer to the beach than this property and the views are spectacular! It is clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The hosts are very responsive to questions. We only wish the water pressure would have been better in the shower. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfectly Perfect

A beautiful clean cosy beach house in a fabulous setting, right on the beach. Everything was exactly as stated and the hosts were super responsive, friendly and sorted out a small issue for us within minutes. We definitely want to return.

Fantastic location and host

The location is perfect (100 steps from the back door to the water). The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you would need and the bathroom shower is surprisingly large. My stay unfortunately coincided with Hurricane Helene. I was able to stay at the property for two nights before a mandatory evacuation was put in place. The hosts have been more than extraordinary with processing a refund for my stay. I am VERY happy to hear that Sun King did not sustain any major damage due to the hurricane. When the beaches in Pinellas County have recovered, I will 100% be staying here again.

It was absolutely perfect in every way. The cottage was perfect for us. Every amenity we needed was available. Super comfortable bed!!! Beach access was amazing. Just wondering how far in advance we can book for next year!!!

Anniversary trip

This cottage is awesome! The bed is fantastic! Always important for a vacation! Well appointed throughout. Step off the porch into the sand and watch the sunset fro the living room - does t get better than that. Owners were very responsive and helpful - checking was a breeze.

Great place right on the beach!

We were in Indian Shores for our anniversary. The condo was very clean and well appointed. We had everything that we needed. The bed is extremely comfortable. The beach is right in the back yard. We had a wonderful time!

Great for two

Was easy to find. Great location had plenty of places to choose from to eat. Grocery stores and pharmacy's just a few minutes away. The beach is just steps away from the back door. Great sunsets and seems to always have a good breeze. The only negative thing I could really say about the place is the water pressure in the bathroom. The two a/c units did a pretty good job of keeping up. It was in the low 90's for the most part. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time. This was our 2nd year staying there. It was very clean. I would highly recommend this place to all that want a peaceful experience with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico. 5 stars all around.

One of a kind!

This location is one of a kind! My 2 year old and 6 year old played and had the shortest walk back to the home whenever they needed to take a break. It was perfect for our small family!

Birthday Trip

It was my wife's birthday last week, so we planned this trip last winter because we had such a good time last fall staying here. We just love the location and most of all NO STEPS. We will definitely make this one of our yearly stops. Thanks so much for everything.

The place was great! Everything you could need is there…right down to beach chairs and umbrella. Very clean and well appointed. The whole process was smooth. We did not need anything; but if we would have, I’m sure we would have received excellent results. Right on the water!! We would definitely return for a nice getaway!

Four nights in Indian Shores.

This property checked off a box on my bucket list of staying in a beach cottage rather than a condo. It was exactly what I had pictured. Everything was clean and exactly as described. If I had to give any suggestions, I would upgrade the towels as they were very used and not appealing. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella being available but used our own as the ones in the shed were very dated and rusted. Would highly recommend the restaurant Salt Rock Grill a short walk away. Possibly one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at!

Energetic beach loving family that has been visiting Florida since we were children and are lucky enough to have beach rentals in Clearwater Beach, Indian Shores and Ft. Myers Beach. We are both Realtors licensed in Illinois, with Laurie also licensed in Florida. We love to get a break from the cold weather in the Chicago Suburbs with a few winter trips to the beach including long walks on the beach and fantastic sunsets with a cocktail!

This property is so special because it is quaint, old Florida style and located directly on the beach - ranch style with NO STAIRS and a covered parking space 10 feet from your door, so that you can literally have your suitcase in your bedroom and on the beach in 10 minutes! We love this location on the beach because it is more private and the ocean is so clear and turquoise blue/green! We have updated the kitchen/living room to make it an open floor plan with white shaker cabinets, a full-size stainless steel appliance package and granite counters and breakfast bar. The bathroom is also totally remodeled with a walk-in shower and comfort height toilet. All off the furniture, bedding, kitchen accessories, etc. are brand new - as well as 2 flat screen TV's (ROKU in living room and Alexa) and high-speed wireless internet. You will love watching the sunset from the covered front porch or inside at the kitchen table - or start the day with a cup of coffee from either place!
