Poipu Makai is situated on an ocean bluff for excellence in viewing abundant sea life and beautiful Pacific Ocean sunsets over the Poipu coastline. Because of the unique ridge location, Poipu Makai E-1 is located on the ground floor while it is necessary to take stairs in order to access the parking.

The place was very clean and had everything we wanted. A huge plus was the AC! The view from the lanai was absolutely beautiful. We sat there every morning and evening, listening to the waves and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We even saw dolphins from the lanai! The beach was within walking distance, and there were so many turtles around. We watched them every evening, which made the experience even more special. We made so many beautiful memories here and truly enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular vista!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing view from our patio! Watched a pod of dolphins playing. We also enjoyed several rainbows during our stay.

The location was great and had perfect views. Good location for us. We had a great time but the property is in need of some updates like furniture, worn and lack of support in the cushions and worn out patio furniture that is falling apart. Overall a good value

Aloha, mahalo, we will let the owners know about the furniture inside. The patio furniture is a well-known brand, Tropitone, known for its high quality. It is not old, not falling apart. The chaises have custom covers and are covered after every guest.

Beautiful condo and location. Loved waking up every morning and walking out from the condo to an oceanfront experience. The waves crashing on the lava rocks below and the green grass under my feet could not have been more grounding and renewing for my soul. The condo was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Great location for the south and west side adventures.

We loved the location. Loved being so close to the water - almost like a jet engine at times as we had LOTS of wind that resulted in large rolling waves that crashed on the rocks in front of the unit. BEAUTIFUL!!! Unit itself had everything we needed/wanted. Management communicated clearly. Some things that would be improved - door on the freezer portion of the fridge was very difficult to open and close - could use some attention/repair. Screen door to the lani was difficult to open/close - would be great if it was easier to operate as we were in and out often. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful View!

We loved the property! So clean and fully stocked plus the corner unit had an amazing ocean view. Super close to Poipu and the AC's were powerful and perfectly chilly. We loved our stay and would 100% be back!

Such a lovely condo with everything we needed for a week long stay. Quiet corner location with great views, easy parking, well located. The king size bed was very comfortable, double bed was a less firm mattress, a bit on the soft side. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything needed for cooking. Lots of beach equipment - chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, noodles. Fans and AC so we were always comfortable. We loved the unit and location that was great for walking in either direction, including to Brennecke Beach (10 min), Poipu Beach Park (12 min), or Shipwreck Beach (20 min) and enjoyed use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club that has a huge indoor/outdoor gym, pool, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, tetherball, and more - and a great restaurant and bar. Would be great for families with kids, or for anyone wanting a full gym and activities. All in all a great and comfortable stay!

Perfect distance from Poipu Beach

Property is a bit dated but very well kept up and clean. The location is outstanding and if anything...the description understates just how amazing the spot is. Second time here and will book a third !!

Comfortable stay at a beautiful Location

We had a very comfortable stay. The location was ideal to get around the island and had a great view of the ocean. The beach chairs and boogie boards that come with the place were a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend this place for your Kauai vacation!

Great condo in Poipu! The ground floor end unit is convenient for walks on the lava rocks below. Nicely updated, but the mattress in master could isn't super comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
