This suite is located on the second floor of the Seascape Condos on the East side overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and Seaside Picnic area. The famous Seawall is just a block southeast. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options such as Texas' first opera house "The Grand," Stewart Mansion, The American Undersea Warfare Center at Seawolf Park, Galveston Railroad Museum, or perhaps an afternoon cruise of Offats Bayou on the Colonel, are all within a few minutes' drive from the complex.
Inside, the room is bright and cheery. The King bed invites you to put your feet up while you browse the cable channels on the flat screen TV, or while you use the free WiFi to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. A great Place to stay!!

We could only stay for one night and this property owner allows for one night bookings. We were so grateful to find this listing!! The unit was VERY clean and had everything we needed: Cold A/C, full size fridge, a good selection of pots and pans. We would happily stay here again.

Great get away

Best Condo Ever!

This was a last minute booking for our last minute vacation. And let me just say that it was the best one yet! We found the perfect rental right when we needed it. We loved the location, we loved the condo, and absolutely did not want to head back home! Can't wait to have the opportunity to rent this place again in the future! Going to a wedding

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location which was quiet and away from the beach traffic. The pictures sure made it look bigger than it was but it fit the two of us okay.

2219 was very nice

My hubby and I celebrated our 30th anniversary staying in this condo. Everything was very nice and comfortable for us. There is a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Even on a rainy day, it was great to be able to relax and listen to the waves rolling in! And the owner was very responsive to my questions.

Overall decent condo. Bed was comfy and view from balcony great. Inside needs painted. As you can imagine renters are hard on them. The rooms so small and people beat the walls up with ocean gear. The door knob fell completely off door when we first arrived and housekeeping had to know when they cleaned it last. Refrigerator makes a racket. Checkin was a disaster and we waited 45 minutes for guard to show. Terrible property management. I love the pool, hot tub and ease of ocean. Just needs new management.

Nice for a short get away

Unit was clean, wonderful view, easy check in with great instructions. Unit is good for a couple who want a short get away. Would have loved to have had a box of tissues in the room. All other items were there. We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed out stay here. The beach access was very convenient and the pool area clean. Security guard, Kevin, was very nice. The condo was decorated nice and very cozy. Bunks were big enough for 2 older kids. The only thing was you could hear people walking by the bedroom window and in the early morning. Great Location in Galveston to stay!

Galveston Getaway

Instead of our usual trip to Florida, my friend and I decided to try somewhere new and we booked Darrell's condo. It's a great location directly on the beach. The complex is very nice with a large HEATED pool, plenty of pool chairs and 2 hot tubs. The condo was perfect for us and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony (when the weather finally warmed up)! We had a couple of small issues that Darrell responded to promptly. I would stay here again!

As Advertised

Loved the view from the balcony and condo! It is right on the beach, which is not easy to find in Galveston. The pool and hot tubs looked really nice but we didn't get in since we were there just a couple of nights. The condo itself is small, but it works for two adults and probably a child or two. The king bed was comfortable. No complaints, we would definitely return.

Keep Looking -Beeping Fire Alarm & Construction, Dated

The owner was nice enough to allow us to checkin early & out later, however upon checkin there were issues that we brought to his attention that were not addressed. #1 Fire Alarm was removed from the wall and Beeping/Chirping when we put it back in. We didn’t feel safe leaving it off, so our relaxing beach getaway turned into a headache and the owner never came to fix it like he said he would. #2 Prior to arriving, I asked if there were any issues we should know about that would cause us grief. He said no. However, the beach was closed off and active construction vehicles were up and down the beach beeping and grunting. Ugh #3 for the moments between the alarm chirping and the construction vehicles beeping, even if they were silent, the beach sounds are obstructed by the loud busy road. #4 The unit is clean but it is dated. Don’t expect luxury. Everything is pretty basic and standard, including the linens & mattresses, and pretty worn down. #5 Bunk bed mattresses are pretty much low quality 4-5” foam pads not really mattresses #6 the old refrigerator is also LOUD #7 The pool area is nice. At almost three Benjamins for one night, I’d keep looking for a better spot.

This property is great for a girls trip or small family. Darrell was so easy to speak with and quickly resolved the couple of kinks we had! Great view of the gulf as well on the east side properties.

We very pleased with our stay. The only issue was the elevators were not working properly.

Our condo was perfect for our stay. It was very nice and clean and everything worked properly. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Great location!!

I enjoyed my stay and enjoyed the property. Can relax and sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. Beach is away from the crowds. If you have any questions, the owner is wonderfully communicative and gets back to you quickly!!!

Great! But just a couple things ...

Great experience! But just a couple things ... the television volume, hair dryer, and closet mirror needs to be fixed. As well there was a weird/funky smell upon arrival. The sofa sleeper was uncomfortable. The key codes were incorrectly and not clear on the instructions (needs to be updated). Overall, other than that, everything else was awesome; provided beach chairs, good location - nice view to the beach, nice pool, nice security guy up front of the gates.
