This family home offers plenty of room and a lush lawn leading right down to the lake. There is an open kitchen, living area and outside deck to help you create fun TC memories. Great property. Much bigger than it looks. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. On a beautiful, quiet lake. Close to tons of different activities. Highly recommend

This property was perfect, a clean home with easy access to Traverse City and plenty of on-site activities. The lake was clean and not crowded. One tip for future guests: there’s a bike trail next to the property, and you can order bikes to be delivered to the house. We didn’t know this beforehand and missed out, so I’d recommend planning ahead for that. Overall, a great value for the price, we’d rent again if we’re in the area.

Perfect Location for Family Fun

This property was excellent for our annual family trip to Traverse City! We enjoyed easy access to everything the area had to offer, being steps away from the TART trail for biking and walking, kayaking on Cedar Lake, and more.

I have never been at a place that was so clean, convenient and relaxing. Being on the water I expected the usual spider webs and stuff but the place was immaculate. The window tracks were even clean. We had three adult couples and the rooms and full size bathrooms were perfect. The side of the lake that we were at was absolutely quiet and relaxing. Coffee in the morning and a drink at night was perfect on the deck and the dock. Location is ideal with the trail right by the house. I have this down as a return visit and would say this has been our best experience by far. I forgot to mention that the grounds were beautiful with all the Black-eye Susan’s in full bloom and well maintained.

Great stay - the hosts are wonderful. The house was clean, really nice open spaces and kitchen, comfy beds. Really appreciated the location and access to the TART trail as it made walks with our dog easy. The lake is beautiful, peaceful and serene, enjoyed kayaking. Quiet neighborhood - lots of wildlife. Would definitely stay again!

A great lake house

The house is in great shape and bigger than we anticipated. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location is convenient to Traverse City or heading up M22 to other fun towns. The deck with the lake view is incredible and you’re literally steps from the Leelanau bike trail.

Awesome Lake House Get-Away

This house was amazing in every way! Beautiful views, lake access, yard games, fire pit and kayaks for outdoor family fun. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and all the comforts of home. Better than expected! Perfect for families.

Perfect Location on a beautiful lake

Our family of six really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lake. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the owners were super responsive to any questions and provided all of the basics. We look forward to returning for another summer trip.

Amazing Lake Getaway

This lake house is phenomenal for groups. Plenty of space, bathroom, and amenities. The surrounding area is also stunning. It sits on a very low traffic lake, which leads to amazing views. I can't recommend this property enough!

Pretty and Private

Our stay at the Cedar Lake house was perfect for our family getaway and fishing charter. The views to the lake are stunning and the house is beautifully furnished. We enjoyeed grilling, and the guys caught a few fish off the dock! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you for providing such beautiful home to share.

Beautiful Place! Great Location!

This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of Cedar Lake. The kitchen has an amazing view of the lake with a high top table to enjoy dinner. The location is close to downtown yet quiet and secluded. Very close to the bike trail. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for opening your home to visitors.

Quick weekend getaway

We booked this house for my Brother In Laws wedding. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the lake as much as we wanted, so would look to come back! The house had a lot of space for 5 adults and one infant. Easy check in and check out process. Would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting the area!

Peaceful and absolutely gorgeous home!

We loved this home and can’t wait to return! The view is unbelievable! Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Very comfortable bed and living room. We went kayaking and had a bonfire. It’s close to everything we wanted to do in the area! An absolute gem!

Absolute perfection!

We’ve stayed in many up north vacation rentals, and none compare to this perfect house on Cedar Lake! The property exceeded our expectations in every way - in size, comfort, amenities, VIEWS! The hosts were quick to communicate, hospitable, helpful and kind. With so much to do around Traverse City and up the peninsula, our kids never wanted to leave the house and the lake. We hope to be back next summer, if not before!

Traverse City area

Spacious house with full upper and lower living areas. The upper kitchen that we used is well-equipped. Beautiful view of the lake from the back of the house. Great deck. Patio near the dock with a huge fire pit where we spent the evenings enjoying the weather and beautiful star-filled sky. Great location. Not far from Sleeping Bear Dunes and lovely wineries. Thanks to Maude for a very memorable stay.

Comfortable Home in a perfect location with a great view

We had a fantastic family vacation at Maude's home. It was my husband and I, and three grown children/inlaws.The house has a great layout for everyone and the four bathrooms with the four bedrooms is hard to beat. The view from the deck or pier is so relaxing. The house is in great condition and has everything you'd need. We love that it was outside of downtown TC but still so close to all the wineries and the bike trail. We even got to enjoy Cedar Lake's fireworks over the lake in the most comfortable setting with a fire going. Great family memories were made here. Highly recommended.

Great location on the lake, beautiful sunrises.. Used the deck overlooking the lake a lot, great location, close to downtown Traverse City and all points north. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were plentyn for our three couple visit. Owner communication was great and timely. We didnt' use the trail which runs close to the property, but hidden by a dense set of trees and bushes. Next visit, we will rent some bikes and use the trail.
