Completely remodeled classic Peaks Island home with stunning Atlantic Ocean white water views. Welcome to the newly renovated Valhalla on Peaks. This classic home underwent a complete renovation for your family's enjoyment. From the minute you step onto the property, your senses will be overwhelmed by the views, ocean breeze, salty smell, and the property's nostalgic feel.

Inside, there is a fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs for your enjoyment, stunning views from the dining room, and bedrooms. Three bedrooms are located upstairs with queen beds, smart TVs, and ocean views from two of the three bedrooms. Downstairs, you will find a private reading room with a pull-out queen sofa.

The quaint backyard has a small fireplace with chairs and a propane BBQ.

Located within a twelve to fifteen-minute gorgeous walk from the ferry, restaurants, and the island grocery store. A five-minute walk to the water and a perfect location for endless amounts of walking and biking along the breathtaking roads of the island.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Only two things. We couldn't get the door to lock. And would recommend replacing the two little fans in the bedrooms as they didn't move air at all. Other than that everything was wonderful

This was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. It's .5 miles from the ferry and easy to get to. Located on a quiet street with water views. The kitchen is brand new. There's a lot of nice things for travelers such as all the travel toiletries you need, cooking spices, oil, coffee.

I spent 4 nights at this property and would absolutely rebook in the future. You have a view of the water from several areas in the house (dining room, den, and 2 bedrooms) . Its located on a quite street and only a 1/2 mile walk from ferry. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped… love the upstairs clawfoot tub! Kitchen is well equipped and everything was functional as was large washer and dryer. Peaks Island is a step back in time. The people are honest and salt of the earth. I highly recommend both this island and this house. Wonderful trip and would rebook this house !

Location was great. Easy to walk to the ferry, restaurants and beaches. Host was very communicative. We felt pictures were deceiving in terms of the yard. The main photo used in the listing is not yard space accessible to renters. Outdoor space is very minimal and mainly weeds so wouldn’t recommend this property if you’re looking for a home with a yard. We also have very high standards in terms of cleanliness and the home did not meet the mark. Lots of dirty corners and baseboards, which we ultimately ended up cleaning ourselves so we would feel comfortable with our baby crawling around on the floor. I think this would home would be great for adults, but maybe not the best choice for those traveling with young kids.

Wonderful stay

My husband, 1 year, dogs and I all enjoyed our stay on Peaks at this beautiful home. It is a convenient location- not too far from town and coastline. Beautiful kitchen views.

I adored this home and it's location. Very walkable. Lovely views from the house. The dining room had the most splendid views and 4 of us traveling artist friends drew great inspiration. The pre/shoulder season time was perfect for us... not crowded and extra peaceful though most seasonal stuff was not open yet. The home is clean and charming. We felt immediately at home. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked and ate well every day! We were 4 friends traveling together to paint and draw. We each had private space for sleeping because of the house set up. More could easily stay at the house though. Highly recommend and am planning to go back!

Maine retreat for family wedding

This was a nice house located near enough to the town to walk. It was a typical beach house with a well stocked kitchen. It had a great view from the front porch of the ocean and was in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Friend reunion

Lovely spot to host a group of friends who hadn’t seen each other in years. 7 adults is a bit of a tight squeeze but doable! Location couldn’t be beat.

Valhalla is Lovely

Nicely appointed beach cottage. Bring small car as only parking for small car and a golf cart. Nice water views 5 mins to shore 10 minutes to the tiny village and ferry.

Comfortable house with a nice view. Plenty of indoor space to hang out. If we were there longer and not attending a wedding having more outdoor space would have been nice. If you have a car larger than a Tahoe you might have trouble parking. Overall the house worked well for our family and was a bonus being able to bring our 2 dogs.
