What's better than beachfront? Our place! We are directly across the street from the beach, so you get the convenience of beachfront without the beachfront prices. You are a shorter walk to the beach from our condo than you would be in the big resorts with 'beachfront' prices.

Come relax and feel the sand between your toes in beautiful South Padre Island. This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Even better, is our location. We are directly across the street from the beach, and there is a beach access just steps from the condo. It's like being beachfront without the prices! There are no hotels around us, so the beach is not as crowded and the neighborhood is quiet.

Stream your favorite apps, ZOOM, eLearn, etc. with high-speed WIFI internet. Our condos are pet friendly and kid friendly. They are also great for a romantic getaway. Are you setting up a girls' weekend or reunion? You can rent out an entire floor or the whole building and have a private vacation!

New upgrades: Keurig coffee maker, Berlin Gardens outdoor pool furniture, 6 beach chairs, 1 Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, 6 beach towels and a beach wagon. Custom outdoor pool table and outdoor TV in the pool area.

We are thrilled that you are looking at spending some time with us at Athena Ares Condominiums. Our beach home is a pet friendly, family vacation rental. We give 10% discount to Military, Police, and Firemen. The traveler securing the reservation must be 25 years of age or older. For Spring Break / Semana Santa all rental guests must comply with a families only restriction. If the dates that you are looking for are not available in this condo, we have 5 more fantastic condos in the same great complex that might work for your dates. We would appreciate the opportunity to accommodate your stay on the island.

**Professional housekeeping crew follow CDC guidelines on how to clean and disinfect between guests. Electrostatic cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. **

A small welcome package is provided which includes 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash can liner in each trash can, liquid hand soap by each sink, liquid dish soap in the kitchen and 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

Perfect rental

This rental had everything we needed for our 10 month baby and it was super close to the beach. Loved that the pool had such a big kiddie space. Renters were very kind and accommodating! We try to come to Padre annually so we will back!!

Second time we have stayed at this property. Amazing place with eash beach accesd.

Perfect place for our family. Our second day was windy so we hung around the beautiful pool. Very clean with a nice little porch. Nice and quiet. Loved it!

Business trip

Took advantage of a business trip and stayed a couple of extra days to enjoy the beautiful beach. The location was perfect. I love that it’s pet friendly. The room was spacious, clean and loved the outside amenities. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful condo/Great location

This rental is exactly as described, but even more beautiful. They had everything we needed for our stay. We loved that they had a wagon and beach chairs to enjoy at the beach. After a day at the beach they had multiple places outside to rinse all the sand off. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub almost daily and usually had it to ourselves. We have stayed at many places on the island, but this is by far our favorite. We look forward to coming back.

Fantastic Unit and Location

Property owners are great to work with and very responsive. The unit was perfect for our family spring break - great layout, supplies, even a beach cart and chairs! Nice little patio and the pool area and hot tub are very nice. Easy access to the beach!

Great Experience all around. The pool/grounds were cleaned daily, any issues or questions were resolved quickly by property manager, easy access to ocean, all of the group had a good time. Stress free and easy going. Would come back to this location and stay.

Great House, Great Location, Great Value

We go to SPI a few times a year and have stayed at other rentals and at hotels. From the communication after booking to the beautiful interior to the fantastic location, this property was a great experience. The interior was modern, clean, and well stocked. The pool was top notch. You are only steps away from the beach without paying the beach front prices. We loved it and would definitely want to stay here again.

The location is great! We can easily head back to the condo for lunch or just to grab more digging stuff. Then it's just a 1-2 minute walk back across the street and we are there, in the water! We also love walking down to the Wanna Wanna Inn for fried shrimp, cold beer, and good music. When our family comes to visit, we stay in all of the condos and spread out. We get to enjoy being close together without listening to each other snore!
