If you are looking for heaven on earth, you have found it! We are proud to offer you the perfect place for your next getaway. Once you see the spectacular views and beautiful furnishings, you'll never want to leave.

We are located at Echota on the Ridge. This gated community is situated on 97 acres with our elevation being 4200 ft. The spectacular unobstructed view from the balcony overlooks Valle Crucis. Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and the Blue Ridge Parkway are only minutes away. Hiking, skiing, snow tubing, and fishing are also close by.

Our mountain retreat is on the main floor. NO STEPS!! Walk straight from your car to the front door. It is beautifully furnished with all the conveniences of home. The master bedroom has a Saatva Luxury Firm Queen size mattress, flat screen TV, private bath/dressing area and a sitting area for you to enjoy your morning coffee as you look out over Valle Crucis. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, TV and a separate bathroom. Both guest areas can be closed off from the rest of the condo for privacy.

The stone fireplace sets the tone in the great room. You can enjoy a book with the relaxing fire, or watch the 42' flat screen TV. Bring your laptop because WIFI internet is available in our unit. Our dining area seats 6. If you feel like cooking, our kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make that perfect meal! Or if take-out is your thing--area restaurants are close by. Menus provided.

Echota on the Ridge has so much to offer. You can choose either the indoor pool or the outdoor pool with its spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain, a hot tub, and a soothing 30 ft. waterfall. The clubhouse offers a full gym, caterer's kitchen, and a huge great room with a 42' flat screen TV & free WiFi internet service. Echota also offers catch & release trout fishing and a 24 acre nature preserve for hiking, strolling and picnicking along a beautiful mountain river.

We were fortunate enough to stay when it snowed. The view from the porch with and without snow could have been from a postcard. It was simply amazing! The condo was very clean and well furnished.

Family Getaway

We wanted to check out Banner Elk and Hawksnest. I’ve never been before. The location of the property was convenient to everything we did. We went tubing, rode a mountain coaster and visited an alpaca farm. The condo was very beautiful.

Older property than expected

Very out of date furnishings with bizarre accessories, old carpets and uncomfortable chairs. The bed seemed very small.

What a view!

Sometimes the pictures dont match reality when renting. Thisbis not the case. Views were outstanding and unit was as described. Owner was easyvtoreach and very responsive. Indoor pool was a short car drive. We would stay here again. Thanks, Judy

Winter Weekend

We greatly enjoyed our weekend away in your beautiful and clean condo! The fireplace kept us toasty warm and the view couldn’t be beat! We loved being able to walk the community, soak in the hot tub, and get the winter wiggles out of our kids at the indoor pool. The location was close to many of the resorts, but in a quiet and private area, that let us enjoy the beauty of the area without being on top of a lot of people. We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months! Thank you, Judy, for touching base with us before and after our trip! We appreciated your hospitality and how easy it was to come and go! Thank you!

Very nice spot. Lovely views, well appointed unit, had everything we needed. Really enjoyed getting my laps in the indoor pool and doing walks in the neighborhood. Only issue was we were without water for a couple hours when a water line in the neighborhood broke. We always enjoy our stays in Echota.

This condo surpassed my expectations! Photos were great but more beautiful in person. Views were breathtaking. Very clean and decorated beautifully. My dear friend and I celebrated both our birthdays here. Would definitely stay here again.

As Advertised

Place was clean, well decorated, everything functioned as described. We ate several meals cooked in the kitchen during our stay. Everything we need was there and saved a ton of money by not eating out. Area in the vicinity is picturesque and worth visiting. Community pool and hot tub were great. Views were incredible!!! Great stay and highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful view

We were here for App State graduation. This was a great location nestled in the mountains but close to Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

This property is one of the best in EOR. We are on the middle floor of our building so, you walk right in. No steps to climb. Making it very easy to load/unload your car when you arrive. We love the Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk area. There's lots to do and great places to eat.

You will fall in love with our view. 60 mile range looking towards TN over Valle Crucis. It's a very quiet building with no one beside of us. I've had many renters describe it as "a little piece of heaven."
