Downtown Center Street is just under three miles away, so hop on your bike or in the car to enjoy dining, shopping, nightlife, and more. Walk a mile up the road to Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve and enjoy views of the Morris Island Lighthouse. Venture out to downtown historic Charleston (just 13 miles away) to enjoy sightseeing, shopping, historic tours, and delicious southern cuisine.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great stay at Folly Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach. The house was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The deck is amazing - so nice to be able to sit out and watch the dolphins. Great location on the beach near Charleston.

Great location

If you’re not caught up with an updated property, the value for the location worked for our fam. Visited in March and it was quiet and relaxing. Although dated and well worn, the house was clean and had decent basic amenities, although odd it did not provide beach towels at a beach house.

Quiet Weekend on Beach

Enjoyed the long weekend looking over the beach in a quiet area. It was December, so I did not expect too much of a crowd, of course. Enjoyed the living space and large deck area as much as the cool windy weather allowed.

Wonderful Place

Had a great time. this house is right on the water with beautiful views. We loved Folly Beach and the town itself. Everything was clean and worked for our stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

Nice Quiet Beachfront

Home has beautiful view and is right on the beach. Home is slightly outdated and furniture is worn, but very adequate and well supplied. TVs not in good working order and internet was spotty.

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was exactly as advertised, but we found it to be even better. The deck and stairs were very new and had lovely deck furniture and lots of boogie boards and sand toys that were not in the listing. Yes, it is dated on the inside but It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Do bring your own beach towels, but we would stay here again.

Great beach retreat

Very spacious beachfront home. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is also a quick trip into Charleston. Folly Beach has a cute downtown area with shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time!

Westwind in December

This house was perfect for us. My wife, kids and I loved the house. The views from the den area and the deck are spectacular. The house was very comfortable and of course you can't beat front beach. We are already talking about coming back in December for our race and maybe even a week in the summer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Beach access... older home

The view is amazing and the house is very comfortable. Beach access is wonderful. Some minor stuff: the internet login is not correct, could use some new shower heads and bathroom faucets and the garage has no working door opener(s). Would have liked more personal Q&A left for the renters inside.

Beautiful view, big house

It's a beautiful house but could need some improvements/renovation. Some paint and maybe some new "fresh" furniture. The kitchen and de downstairs bathroom wasn't that clean. But the beautiful deck and the view from the deck (and also de view from the balcony in the master bedroom) made it all a very pleasant stay, the house is really spacious! We had a great time there!

Second time @Westwind♥️

I love the location of this house!! We went for July 4th and we pretty much had the next fk ourselves. Not crowded at all. There was a super moon while we were there, and the water at high tide was all the way to our walkover. It’s like we were ON THE WATER. The house is spacious and very bright and airy with lots of windows and sunlight, so the ocean is always visible. Wish we were there right now!!

Great House that needs attention

Fabulous deck; Tremendous views; interior need a lot of attention: window seals are broken; possible leaks visible on ceilings, dampness under kitchen sink; ripped sofa cushions; unattractive covering over fire place place; needs better doors and lock; more dish towel. And yet we loved the place and plan to come back. It would be an even greater experience if it got the attention it deserves.

Wonderful time

What a wonderful experience with family.. The pics might be a little misleading as to the distance to the sandy beach and the water… It was really close, my mailbox is farther away. At high tide, the bottom steps of the walkway was in the water.. At low tide, there was a wonderful playground of sand.. we played with a soccer ball and tossed around a frisbee without getting wet.. The house was very roomy and clean. Had all the amenities of home… Can’t wait to go back…

Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was as described. The other reviews are need of some TLC but nothing bad. Floors scratched. Furniture not in the best shape. Table is nicked up. Location was great. It was roomy. We had a great time.

Great view & location. House needs A LOT of work

The views are great from the house and the location is perfect. The house is very run down. Lights flickered and often didn’t work well. Locks aren’t very secure. Appliances are missing handles. Windows are old. Holes in the wall. It would be a great vacation spot if there was a little bit more TLC put into it.

Gorgeous home with the best view

Gorgeous view with all the benefits of being right on the ocean. The property is spacious and comfortable but needs to be better managed. All the the reviews are accurate and the property manager has not addressed any of them including the mice, the cobwebs, other housekeeping issues, burned out lights, etc. The direct tv went out day one of our stay and Vacassa was unresponsive to our request for service. If you can overlook some of the gripes this is a nice home.

Book It!

I never leave reviews, but this one is worth the time to do so. The house is as advertised. It is a little dated, but it has plenty of space and bedding for eight people and views that are hard to beat. The deck is spacious and has nice seating. The beach is your backyard, and there are some boards and beach toys if you have kids. The best part was how private it seemed. We saw a few people walking through, but for the most part, we had a large area to ourselves. The only suggestion I would make is to add lighting for the stairs leading to the driveway, and maybe those leading to the beach. It gets a little difficult to navigate them at night. All in all, this house is reasonably priced for such a beautiful location, and we would stay here again.

Great beach house for the price!

If you are looking for a brand new, modern, magazine worthy beach house then this may not be the house for you. If you are like me and aren't very picky, are on a budget, and spend more time on the beach than in the house, then this place is perfect. The breach is right out the back door, the back deck is great, the beds are really comfy, there are new appliances in the kitchen and laundry, and everything you need is provided. I'm giving it 4 stars for a few reasons. First, the front door was open when we got there. We soon found out it was because it's extremely hard to lock. The door is a little warped and I think that may be the problem. It was a struggle every time we went in and out which was a pain. Second, this place could use a really deep clean. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen were clean but if you looked in the corners, high ceilings, window sills, etc. there were cobwebs and lots of dust. Third, the furniture in the living room was pretty rough. It really needs to be replaced. It wasn't that big a deal to us because we were outside on the beach or deck most of the time and if we were inside we sat around the kitchen table. None of these things would deter me or my 3 traveling companions from staying here again but I know everyone is different. Hope this helps!

Great getaway with friends

We loved this home, and loved being right on the beach! The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the back porch, and the nice adorandak chairs while we watched dolphins swim by.

Nice house Great location

Could use a deep clean and updating but overall nice house. Location is fantastic. I could have done with Les steps to ge I to house but I handled it.
