Fantastic vacation!

We have been traveling to Wells, Maine for the past 20 years and had a wonderful vacation at the Water Lily. The location is excellent and the house was incredibly clean. The hosts were very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. We absolutely plan to return in the future!

Amazing location

We are a family group of five adults...mostly senior. Location could not have been better. House was very well equipped and comfortable. Communication was excellent..the best i have encountered so far with VRBO. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic fall beach retreat!

This house is one of the best we've stayed at in the Wells/Ogunquit area. We didn't need all of the rooms, but if we did have more family or friends with us there would be plenty of space to chill as a group or individually when needed. Well appointed and clean upon arrival. Host very communicative and splendid to talk to. The location can't be beat either. Beautiful sunrises and porch breakfasts each day, with restful walks to either end of Wells. Highly recommend!

On the Beach

We could not have been happier with our experience at "Waterlily". The beach house has a spectacular location. The beach is large and shallow providing for ample space to enjoy the beach and warmer water temperatures due to the shallow surf. The house was as advertised. Clean with plenty of space. Larry was responsive but not intrusive. We love the southern Maine area and were able to enjoy our favorite activities. The Ogunquit Playhouse was great as always. We hope to become annual renters of the Waterlily.

Perfect Beachside Home for Our Family Vacation

Everything about this home was perfect for us. Larry has thought of everything anyone might need, so there wasn’t any time wasted looking for things or calling the owner with questions. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, colander, measuring cups, baking pans, even plenty of lobster cracking tools for a crowd. You might be surprised by how spare some rental kitchens can be. This one was amazing! Clean towels were easily accessible - including beach towels. There were 11 of us and typically when renting there are never enough towels. Multiple bedrooms provided what our group needed - even one bedroom with twin beds for our grandchildren. Finally, the location was a dream with the beach a few yards away and a large back porch for relaxing & visiting on. All that this house provided contributed to the lovely family vacation we had there. Hope to return!

Wonderful property, extremely responsive property owner and caretaker. Responded to texts in minutes. Gorgeous views and beach location. Was wonderful for our entire 3 generation family, including a 2 year old. Thank you!

Highly Recommend

The Water Lily was perfect. Everything is as it appears online. We had 8 adults and the house was very spacious. Great communication with the property manager and very accommodating. The house is right on the beach so you can watch the amazing sun rises. The neighborhood is quiet with restaurants and grocery stores close by. We had such a great trip and not worrying about where to stay made it even better.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful October week in Maine. The house was lovely - great views of the endless Wells Beach. The location was great. We spent time in Portland, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit. Larry was very helpful with suggestions of what to do, where to eat, etc. We have fallen in love with Maine and hope to be back again to visit soon.

Felt like home

This house was very clean and very well though out. It had all of the essentials of a rental house and so much more. We felt like we were staying in our own home. It is right on the beach and was so easy to get to the sand with kids in tow. The owner suggested restaurants, which saved us time trying to figure out dinner and his recommendations were spot on. He was also quick to reply and helpful with a few questions we had about the house before we arrived as well as during our stay. We will definitely rent again.

Amazing location!

Wonderful vacation at the Water Lily! Our host Larry was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The beachfront location was beautiful with amazing views throughout the house! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Would love to stay here again!

Amazing experience.

This was my first time renting with VRBO.COM and my family and I had the best experience. I have to start saying that the host Larry is Amazing he made our stay very pleasant through our stay. We loved the house, we felt we were in our own house it has everything we need for the days we spend there, is really clean, the views are amazing and relaxing. The location is perfect because you can there are many restaurants in the area, there is also a big supermarket where you can find many things. I am planing to go back next summer with my family!

Great Property

The property was exactly as advertised, directly on the beach, clean, modern (love the Apple TV and great WiFi), with all the amenities. The property owner, Larry, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had no issues or concerns, would definitely recommend this property.
