Bacon in the Sun is the spot to be for your beach vacation! This 4-bedroom end-unit is located right on the Gulf of Mexico! Providing breathtaking views of the ocean!

Your first guest bedroom is located on the right as you enter your vacation unit. This guest bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a private bathroom! Additionally, you will have views of the ocean and the resort pool! On the left, you will find the second guest bedroom. This bedroom features a king bed with a twin daybed, bathroom is a shared bathroom! Your kitchen and living room are an open layout allowing you to easily gather together eating meals, playing games, or admiring the beautiful ocean! The bunk alcove is the perfect spot for the kiddos to gather and hang out! Alcove features a twin over twin bunk bed! Your master bedroom offers breathtaking views of the ocean! You will be able to sit back and relax in your king-sized bed watching the sunrise each morning! The room also features its own bathroom with double vanity, bathtub, and walk-in shower!

*Guest will need to pre-register online and pay for parking passes and armband BEFORE arrival. An additional fee will occur if you register the day of.

Peaceful views

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed this year for our annual family vacation. Condo itself is fabulous. Absolutely no complaints. Views are spectacular and condo was clean and very well furnished and decorated. However, half of the elevators were out of order when we arrived and were not fixed until about three days later. This caused massive congestion and long wait times just to leave the condo or upon returning. I myself wasn’t affected most of the time I just used the stairs but some of our party were unable physically to climb up and down 12 flights every time we left or returned. We were told that the elevators were not working due to the damage from hurricane Helene. That is understandable but there should have been some notice to that effect before we arrived. People were understandably tired, ill and frustrated. Especially with large groups and luggage carts full arriving and Leaving. We took it in stride but people with handicaps should have been warned ahead of time. I would stay again but only after verification that all elevators were in working order.

Amazing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the friendliest and most helpful and honest place we’ve ever stayed. We stayed in #1401. This was a corner unit with a wrap around balcony. The view was absolutely stunning. It was very spacious. All beds were very comfortable. The couch was my husband’s favorite. It was a down feather couch that you just melted into. I can’t brag enough on this unit. Our stay was during hurricane Helene. It was double red flag the whole time we were there. So no water time for us. I messaged and ask if it was possible for us to extend our stay for a night in hopes of being able to get some water time in. They graciously extended our stay for another night. It paid off!!In some of the reviews the elevators were slow or not working. The only problem we had with them was around 4:00pm when people were checking in and because of a small fire that had happened on a few floors above us that shut the one down we used most. Overall I can’t complain about them. Just needed some patience. After we had returned home I received a message that the cleaners had found a couple of shirts in one of the closet. This amazed me, they didn’t discard our items or just keep them. They mailed them to us. For a small fee of course. I highly highly recommend this unit.

PCB as expected

The building was larger than expected and dated. The elevators were very slow and the beaches were crowded. The unit was nice though and the view was enjoyable. It was nice having access to a general store on the property and 3 pools which our kids enjoyed. It wasn’t a great fit for my family but many others were there and having a good time.

Nice condo really slow elevators

Condo was a nice size, needed more dishes for the amount of people that stayed, and was not fully stocked as presented on the website. The elevators were really slow, out of the 7 they had only 3 were working the rest were out of order, which is the resorts responsibility to make sure they are working. Overall the stay was good.

Dirty floors

Condo itself was nice. The floors were dirty upon arrival. Used the vacuum but it didn't do anythimg for the floors. Had it worked, I wouldn't have minded the floors. The peoperty at Tidewater has horrible elevators. Prices for chair rentals are OUTRAGEOUS! We have never had to pay almoat 500 a week

Fantastic condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Zero complaints about the condo itself. Everything was super clean and stocked. Suggestions: stock cooking spray and trash bags.Only complaint I had was I never got a notification the condo was ready to enter. We arrived early by flight and I called to see if we could get in. They said not yet and would send me a text once ready. Never got any notification and simply just tried the combination myself and realized it was ready. Wish I would have known that much sooner for grocery delivery and luggage storage. Also, elevators really are terribly slow. But condo was amazing!

Lovely condo,bulilding is a hassle

The condo was just as described and well appointed.No issues except the ice maker didn’t work which was not a problem for us.We knew to expect long waits at check in but these waits actually continued all week trying to get down to the beach,the parking garage etc.The parking garage is connected to the main level by a walkway and although we arrived before check in day,the carts were already gone.This made for a miserable trip from level 3 to the lobby and then our condo.Only one elevator is working in the parking deck so be prepared to wait a long time or take the stairs.Only 5 elevators in the building are working for over 500 condos and we waited as long as 30 minutes at peak times to as little as 5 minutes during less busy times which was basically very early or late.We packed our car up Friday night before departure to make sure we could get a cart and left early Sat. Morning so as to avoid long waits at the elevator.Although we loved the condo and views,we won’t be back.

Great views, sunsets and a roomy, beautiful condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property is in a great location, off the ocean, clean and convenient. The main road can get busy with traffic and currently there is construction near the building. The condo itself is beautiful, clean and very roomy, pictures are very accurate. The condo has 5 tv's, only 2 worked, maintenance came up to try and fix them but couldn't because they didn't have cable boxes to allow for viewing. Minor inconvenience for us. The biggest issue was the building elevators, they are slow and 2 of the 8 were not in working order. Other renters said they had the same problem last year. My personal complaint is that I called the management company and was told that the elevators all worked. I also emailed the owner, and again was told that all elevators were in working order as far as they knew.4-5 days before our arrival i received an email with instructions for parking, door codes and other general information, in that email it stated that I should expect delays with the elevators from "10-60 minutes" during peak hours! I understand during spring break that its busier and more crowded, and that being patient and willing to wait a turn is required, but waiting up to an hour for an elevator should never be the case. Fortunately the longest we waiting was about 15 minutes, which I feel is still to long, so we tried avoiding peak times of day to depart or arrive back to the condo. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the condo itself is awesome and has amazing views of the ocean and sunsets.

Bring your own kitchen gear

Couldn't figure out the TV--needs instructions, light/fan in living room didn't work, Owners spared every expense in the kitchen accessories kitchen. 6 plates (really?), poor skillets, poor pot selection, no casserole dish, no mixing bowls, even the paper towel holder was crappy. Real disappointed as we had multiple families staying in the condo and cooked multiple meals

Five or more people traveling together to PCB should make this your place to stay!

What a beautiful, immaculately, clean well stocked, three bedroom, three bath, and bunk room with what has to be one of the best views on the beach. Located on the corner and has single elevator two doors down with short waiting times. Close to everything. Communication straight A's.

Great condo! But terrible building situation

Overall the condo was perfect! Literally perfect for my wife and our 4 other friends (3 couples total). One of the big sellers for me was the fact that every room had a big bed, the kitchen was big enough for more than one person, and the living room could seat everyone at once. This condo had everything we needed. It was a bit frustrating to find there were such few toiletries as well as things like dish soap and other basic supplies. If I’m paying that much, I feel it’s not unreasonable to expect a little more. I don’t need you to provide everything, but it was barely even minimum. This is minor in the big picture, but I feel it’s a simple request for going a little further for your customers. However, the real kicker was the elevator situation at the condo. It is outrageous. This is not Blue Swell’s fault. I would definitely stay at any of their other locations, but I won’t be staying at this particular property again because of the elevators. It was bad when we got there and it only got worse when two of the elevators stopped working. This is a large 30 story condo building and there are only 7 elevators. We were on the 14th floor and every time we needed an elevator, we knew it’d be at least a 20 minute wait minimum. When trying to check out, because of the luggage carts, it was an hour long process. We ended up taking the stairs multiple times (with beach supplies, cooler, etc.) during our stay because we were tired of waiting.

The check in was not clear, we stayed away until 4, waiting for a call/text because we were told this, i finally went to room n code worked which it was probably ready much earlier. I had called about early check in availability and willing to pay but kept being told would receive text.

Overall pleased

The condo was nice and extremely spacious. It did however need some attention. The ceiling fan nor the television in the master worked. All televisions were very dated and could use some updating. The staff at the Tidewater Resort were not at all friendly or helpful. And, the building is so big that getting an elevator took forever! At any time day or night. None of the above mentioned ruined our trip and the condo was amazing except for the televisions.
