Absolutely gorgeous view - very quiet

Great escape!

This place made my trip the most memorable solo trip so far! The location, the host, and the view were just spectacular. I highly recommend!

Perfect location for a family gathering

Everything was just as described or better. Beautifully appointed home and a great kitchen for cooking. The views are better than the pictures with the amazing sounds of waves just below. Lots of room to find your own space or be together as the whole group.

World class view in one of the world’s great destinations. The descriptions and photos are thorough and accurate so I won’t drone on. There may not be a better property for rent in Carmel highlands.

Perfect Stay

This home is the most perfectly appointed home we have ever stayed in. All instructions clear, everything promised 100% delivered. The view is magnificent, the furniture is cozy, and anything you would need is provided and available. We spent three days here relaxing, exploring, and soaking it all in. I have never coveted a place but this place is Magic.

Breathtaking views

Breathtaking views is putting it mildly. It was stunning. The house is gorgeous and was just as described. Our daughter enjoyed having her very own wing which would easily have fit several more people. Karen was easy to get a hold of and the entire process from check in to check out was so easy. If you want a slice of heaven this is the place to stay. Pictures do not do it justice!

Breathtaking Views

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful property. Everything was comfortable and clean and just as advertised in the listing. The photos of the grounds and the view do not do it justice. You’re far enough away from town that it feels secluded but close enough that you can be to any restaurant, winery or shopping area within 10 minutes.The owners were fantastic in their communication prior to and during our stay. 10 out of 10 would recommend this stunning property. I only hope I get the opportunity to stay here again.

The Home was amazing, views were breathtaking and from our story book. Simply amazing. The home was very cozy and well maintained and I felt at home. Everything you could need was provided. Enjoyed the backyard and deck seating areas, spent all our time there enjoying their amazing views of the cliffs and vegetation and nature and Pacific Ocean. Karen was a sweetheart from the beginning to the end of our stay and was easily reachable. We loved it. Had planned many adventures around Carmel Highlands areas but decided to stay home ( Karen’s Home) because we felt so comfortable and relaxed and at Peace. Thank you Karen We will be coming back soon.

Very clean, great view Just know that the air conditioner is a portable 1 room ac We arrived apparently during a hot time- it was House had been closed up House Instructions say open windows and turn on the Dyson fan for ac…. No air movement outside so our first night was very uncomfortable as the house stayed too warm in the bedrooms. Thankfully the next day is cooled down and it was fine after that. Everything else was as noted Beds were comfy, hot tub was clean Great location

Listing says AC but the unit was turned off. The rooms were not air conditioned per mentioned with a traditional unit. Windows had to be opened. It was comfortable though. The hot tub had a terrible odor like it hadn’t been maintained or cleaned out in awhile. Other than these two issues it is a great property. We had a great experience there.

Hi Shane. I’m glad you had a great experience overall. I wish you would’ve told me you experienced an odor in the hot tub. It is professionally cleaned before each guest stay and mid -week during weeklong stays. If I’d known you were experiencing a problem, our diligent hot tub cleaner of 10 years would have been on the case right away. On our listing we state that there’s a portable air conditioning unit available but No one has ever used it because the house is on the oceanfront and the mild marine climate has been comfortable for our guests and family, especially when folks don’t mind opening windows for the coastal breeze. I’m glad you were comfortable once you opened windows.
