This cute, rustic beach cottage was the perfect get away for me and my hubby. The beach view can't be beat with front row seats to people and ocean watch. Parking was a huge factor for the rental and we appreciated the cottage being set back from the Strand with easy in and out and our own parking space. We were on the lower floor and yes, you can hear the neighbors walking above occasionally, but hey, it's an older cottage, to be expected! It was a little warmer the days we were there, and the mobile air conditioners were appreciated!The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans and all the things to make our daily breakfast feast. The bed was super comfy as well. We didn't use the hot tub, but they were clean and ready to go!Host was available if needed (we didn't need them), check in was easy. We had a lovely stay!

We stayed 5 nights. Love it. Will stay again and try to rent the whole property to bring friends. Had a small issue with ants and ceiling fan didn't work in the living room. Hot tubs were both clean and operating. Will be back.

It was an amazing place overall communication was great as well as checking in and out. Beach view was right there and it was very calming to step outside and hear the ocean. As well as the atmosphere of the place and overall everything was amazing. Would definitely return back for another stay!

House itself is a little off The Strand which lessens noise from passing cars and pedestrians. There is still a view of the ocean and a gazebo with great seating right across from the beach!Owner is very responsive to communication.

Host responded to our calls immediately. Beach access easy & viewable out the windows. Nice size rooms. Impressive shower with full body jets. Shopping & dining close to property. Access to the property confusing first time. Fun watching surfers & roller bladers. We'd definely stay there again.

Didn’t use the hot tub but it was up and running and very warm. Great home super comfortable beds! Host was responsive and quick to reply to any messages! Loved our stay and will be back!!! 5 stars!!!!

Great location

We had a great stay. The property is perfect for a family or couple on a beach stay. It has a comfortable seating area near the strand with a fire pit to enjoy sunsets. Perfect for beach days!

Stay at the strand

Location was perfect. Saw dolphins right from the patio. Hot tubs and firepit were fantastic. Unit was clean and supplied with all we needed.

Awesome spot right on the Strand!

Solid spot in Oceanside for a family vacation. The hosts are very accommodating and were helpful with our check-in process. Highly recommended for your next stay in Oceanside.

Was a lovely week at Ray's Bungalow! Enjoyed the ocean view, people watching, sun bathing, bike riding andj long walks. The hot tubs were a special treat along with the shower! Ray was quick to respond when we asked for a couple things. Definitely plan on coming back!
