Loved the pool ,close walk to the beach ,and the atmosphere was relaxing. Communication with property owners was fast reply and very helpful!!Would stay there again!!

Perfection!

The property exceeded every expectation we had. The interior was spotless and roomy and the exterior/pool was well cared for. We will absolutely stay here again during our next trip to Kitty Hawk!

House was clean and comfortable. When we got there the sheets left for the king beds were not the right size. I messaged and new sheets were dropped off while we were out to dinner. A few extra towels would have been nice and maybe hand soap in the bathrooms. Thermostat is programmed so it is hard to keep the house cool at night for sleeping when it resets every 2 hours or so. Very close walk to the beach maybe 5 minutes. It would have been nice if there were more beach chairs and maybe an umbrella for renters to use at the beach. Kids enjoyed the pool area. Overall it was a nice stay and would consider staying again if vacationing in the area.

Wonderful for family gathering.

So many good things about this location and home. Perfect for our grown children and our grandchildren. The bunk bed room was a great place for the kids to connect and have their parents near by. Three king beds, although the yellow bedroom bed was too soft. We were on the top floor off the living room which was perfect for us. With our own on suite bathroom. Nice kitchen and wonderful long dining table where we could all eat and work on puzzles and color. Only negatives were arriving to find the beds are not made up ahead of time on any of the beds! Hard after a long road trip. Also missing pillowcases for half of the pillows. They did respond quickly. Also to have a welcome basket with two rolls of toilet paper for three baths! If you don’t pay for the late check out remember you have to strip the beds! Again great location to beach and a wonderful home! Take a visit to the town of Duck!

Overall the property was great. Only item for know before you go is that only one towel and pillow case was provided per person, so if you want more plan ahead. Management was responsive and fast. We noticed a hornets nest being built in the screened in porch on check in and it was removed early the next day by the maintenance team. Super quick and easy. Would book again!

We really enjoyed our time at Sandy Shores! The location was great and close to the beach. The house is lovely and had all utensils needed! The pool and the hot tub were loved by all especially our grandchildren! Opportunities:The path to the beach was a bit overgrown and a little difficult to navigate with kids and a beach cart. The air conditioning on the entry floor was not working and stayed around 80 degrees. We called and reported it and were told someone would be responding after 8 in the morning. The next day we did have someone arrive around 10ish, and window units were placed in each room and the temperature was controlled from that time on and we were grateful for that completion!The estimates fora new AC unit were fine as we were given notification that vendors would be arriving. We were glad to assist on that front. The floor had some debris on it, but it was easily cleaned up, so I would not say it was not clean.The only thing for linen, it would have been nice to have pillowcases provided for all the pillows and not just the two king pillows. I would have brought extras if I had known there were more pillows. I believe you should also include a dishcloth along with the dish towels and pot holders. One thing that my family mentioned was having a shade over the doors (main entrance and the door next to the kitchen dining area, next to the screened in porch). The screened in porch has a screen out that we reported but it was not fixed on our stay. Thanks!
