Relaxing home with great location.

We enjoyed the location and the short walk to West Cliff. The very private backyard was lovely for dining, quiet reading and visiting.

Wonderful place and great location

Great place and lovely location- walking to the cliff trail and east access to many beaches, activity and downtown. Good communication with the owners - highly recommend!

Great getaway

A nice house, dog friendly. Quiet location and close to the ocean. My family enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Great location in SantaCruz

Great location near Natural Bridges, Lighthouse Point, Wilder Ranch and good eateries and groceries. Nice house and grounds.

Great Spot

We had an amazing stay. Everything was neat and orderly in the house. Very close walking distance to ocean, grocery store, restaurants, bars. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely house, great location

The pictures don’t do it justice! Very cute and comfortable house with plenty of space for our family. Really convenient short walk to a dog friendly beach, which was a big plus.

Perfect location

We love the westside of Santa Cruz and had a fantastic stay in this home. Super close to Natural Bridges and loved being able to wake up in the morning and walk along West Cliff. We had everything we needed at the house to be comfortable during our stay and particularly enjoyed sitting in the backyard in the afternoons.

Great neighborhood spot in SC

We enjoyed our time at this home in SC. We could walk to the nearby park with our kids and to the local grocery store and ice cream shop. Beaches just 5 min away, as well as the Seymour Marine center. Will be coming back!

I loved the neighborhood & this darling little house. The back yard was especially nice & my little dogs & I enjoyed relaxing & playing in it. Walking to the beach was a daily event we looked forward to. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating & I would book again. Shopping was only a couple blocks away. All in all a little piece of heaven!

By the Beautiful Sea

‘By the Sea’ is delightful. Comfortable and sparkling clean The garden too was a pleasure, The kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils and saucepans and had a delightful range of spices The beautiful sea is just three blocks away and walking takes you past some fantastic gardens.

Great stay!

Lovely home in a fantastic location for our purposes. We are a family of 4 with 2 preschool aged kids, and the space worked really well for us. The kids were delighted to run around the yard, and to be so close to the beach, as well a park with playground just down the block. We communicated by text and Ann was a kind and very responsive host. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Cozy

Even in the rain the cottage was cozy and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood, visiting different coffee shops each morning, as well as the nearby park which our dog loved. Communication with our hosts was terrific and we were able to make a date change seamlessly. Thank you, for the lovely stay!

Very nice!

The place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room. Great location. Close to beach and warf and grocery etc. Ann was very nice. To deal with instructions were very clear it just couldn’t have been better

Perfect place for Family!!

The house was adorable and clean. Everything we needed to cook. With a family of 5 it’s always hard to find a place that has it all. Centrally located short walk to the beach and great cool local eateries! Perfect for our annual family beach vacation. Thank you to our host Anne!! Pleasure to work with!! We will be back!

Garden Home Close to Beach

This was the first time I used VRBO. The process was a learning curve. The grounds were beautiful! House was well done and had many amenities. I hoped it might have been just a bit closer to the beach.

Great summer getaway

A nice summer getaway out of the valley heat! Location was great just a couple blocks from the ocean, restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed mountain biking Wilder and other trails, watching the surfers at the lighthouse and exploring the redwoods of Henry Cowell state park. Only downside was the increased traffic from the detour of West Cliff drive going up Almar , the house is located on a busy corner. Overall we had a nice stay and would return!

It sounds like you took the opportunity to explore quite a bit nearby. We are happy to hear that you had a great time doing so. As for the West Cliff Drive detour, the City of Santa Cruz has assured all of us in the west cliff area that this is a temporary detour. We would be happy to have you return.

Great house all around

We enjoyed our stay at this Santa Cruz house with easy access to beaches, stores and brews. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and they had dog proofed the couch with a sheet before we got there. Patio furniture seats 5 and was lovely to sit outside. There are 3 steps up and down to the main part of the house that could be a concern for some.

Will definitely stay at this property again if we shall ever go back to Santa cruz!!!

This property is absolutely beautiful and was very clean! Check in and check out instructions were a breeze! This home is in a great neighborhood with friendly people. It's so close to everything you need. Grocery store, beach, and there is even a park right down the road for the kids. We had everything we needed to cook. And with a family of 5 that is a must! We loved to grill in the back yard because it was just as beautiful and peaceful!
