Welcome to this cute little studio just off North Main Street, in a quiet alley spot a few blocks from downtown, a few blocks from WCU, and a few blocks from the free RTA bus stop and City Market/Walmart shopping area.
Easily get around to all of the major Gunnison activities. This inviting little condo is perfect for the couple's getaway or the single person looking for a mountain town experience.
Walk just a few blocks south to Gunnison's cute little downtown, or head north two blocks to the RTA bus stop, with free buses throughout the day to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. City Market and Walmart are also just a few blocks away. Park in the alley parking space or right in front on Main Street. There's also ample neighborhood parking nearby. No permits or parking meters!

Our stay was great, great communication from the host and property was clean. Glad there was a swamp cooler to keep it cold! Definitely recommend for 2 people!

Usually, I’d give this place a good rating as it was pretty clean and about what we expected from the listing. However, when we got there, there were shards of glass on the floor and in the rug - which we realized when my one year old got cut and bled on me. We reached out and they had the cleaning lady come back, which we appreciated, but I found more glass after she left. I don’t know what caused the broken glass, but staying somewhere I don’t feel safe letting my daughter down because I’m afraid she’ll get cut again is not okay.

The property was super cozy as described and very clean inside. It was also very comfortable. The outside of the building looked kind of junkie. There was dirt up to the front door. And there was a tenant on the other side who played really loud music one night. I tried to get in touch with the Property Manager to no avail. And ended up having to call the police to get them to turn it down. Which they did.

Great alternative to a hotel

Easy access to all things in Gunnison. Easy and free parking options. The things you need for you stay are there. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting my son at Western Colorado . Lots of thoughtful touches.

Cute Couple's Pad Close to Downtown

There are some neighborhood deer that hang out nearby and we met the neighbor cat. It's close to downtown so I was able to walk and browse alone as my husband was tired after our drive. It's small, but it worked for just the two of us.

Perfect cozy cottage!

This was a perfect place for my husband and I for an anniversary ski trip at Crested Butte. The studio apartment was just the right size, accurately reflected in photos/description. It was stocked with all the amenities needed for a short stay. It was also conveniently located with a short walk to restaurants and stores. The free bus to Crested Butte was close as well. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Definitely Cosy

Cute cottage, great location but even 2 adults would be cramped in this space. Decor is charming, great towels & linens. Only the microwave is a negative note: weird buttons & it’s on TOP of the frig! Close to impossible to use. Otherwise it worked fine for me.

Thank you for choosing the Cozy Central Studio for your stay - we’re sorry it wasn’t the right fit for you. Had we heard of any issues during your visit we would have addressed them immediately. Most guests like the mattress, but everyone is different. Our cleaners saw no evidence of bugs before or after your stay, and previous guests haven’t reported seeing bugs, but we will follow up on that and your other concerns. Thanks for letting us know about the freezer. Since this review we have defrosted it.

We had a great stay in Gunnison, and the Cozy Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Just the right size and amenities needed for three nights. We prefer not eating out all of the time and the kitchenette served our needs. Communication was good prior to the stay. The bed is VERY comfortable. The water temperature and pressure were good. Having recycling as an option for items we do not consider trash was appreciated. Already we plan to stay here in August when taking our daughter to school. I look forward to future stays in the Cozy Cabin since I travel to Gunnison multiple times each year for university business and now to visit our daughter. Thank you!!!

My wife and I found the property perfect for the two nights and two days in Gunnison. We were traveling from Durango to Ouray to Gunnison and on to Colorado Springs and the stop in Gunnison allowed us to venture out and explore the area and come back in the evening to clean up and rest to be prepared for the next day. Several good places to eat and sip our favorite beverages in Gunnison too.

Prime Location

Everything we need for comfort and great rest. The location of this well appointed studio is perfect for visit to Gunnison and Crested Butte. Everything we needed is in this thoughtfully convenient little home away from home for our week long stay.
