The Space:

Welcome to Capitola Vistas, this charming one bedroom unit, featuring a plush queen bed, is a perfect choice for your next visit to Capitola by the Sea, in the heart of Capitola village. Just steps from your door are great restaurants, lively nightlife, and numerous shops. Enjoy relaxing at home, and cooking in these recently updated units that come with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Whether you are traveling with a partner or on your own, these units will appeal to anyone seeking a relaxed, clean, and modern atmosphere.  There is a shared laundry room with a coin-operated washer and dryer.



One dog is allowed with the payment of a $75 non-refundable pet fee.  Due to the close proximity of the other apartments on the property, we ask that the dog is not left unattended in the unit due to noise concerns.



Capitola is a historic and atmospheric little coastal town with plenty of surf spots, boutique shops, and a whole host of commercial and entertainment outlets for young and old alike. The town is flourishing yet retains its distinctive and quaint character, beloved by beachgoers and surfers.

We were celebrating our 59th wedding anniversary and enjoyed our stay immensely. Capitola Vista #3 was a very short walk to the beach and restaurants and shops. The unit was super clean and well supplied with every convenience, including 2 tv's. We will definately book another stay very soon.

Nice Beach Apartment

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was walking distance to the beach and cute town of Capitola. The apartment had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

End of Summer Getaway

Great mini vacation stay

Nice room with excellent accommodations. Comfortable bed, this is VERY important. Clean kitchen which included everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Not best of all but still very important, our own parking space. We can fully recommend this location and provider and will be back!

Great location for beach access, restaurants, and shops. Quick response time from management when contacted. Washer/dryer is not in unit and requires quarters.

Overall, pretty great . Can’t beat the location or parking situation (stellar for Capitola Village), clean and reasonably well appointed. All the appliances, etc., were functional. A few things that were weird & could be easily addressed at low cost: No doormat to wipe sand off your feet before coming back in from the beach, but also no broom to sweep sand, etc., back out the door (not even a little mini dollar store hand broom and dust pan like you might keep in the back of a car). So I felt like I was tracking sand all throughout the apartment, but couldn’t do anything about it. No seasonings in the cupboards - literally just salt & pre-ground black pepper, that’s it. And sugar (useful for coffee). If you’re planning on cooking, the kitchen is nice and big, with a reasonable amount and variety of pots and pans, but just know that you’ll need to buy/bring literally every ingredient with you. There was nowhere to hang a robe for a shower or wet towels in the bathroom after taking a shower (other than one rack connected to the middle of the sliding glass shower door, which - if used - caused the towel to come into contact with the edge of the toilet seat and/or the edge of the toilet plunger/brush - gross). Ended up hanging bath towels to dry on the backs of the upholstered bar stools, which worked OK, but was a bit awkward. There’s plenty of wall space in the bathroom to hang a hook from the hardware store, seems like an easy win. Overall, would stay again if available

This rental is definitely in “the heart of Capitola village”, as it is basically at the intersection of Capitola Ave and Monterey Ave- so no misnomer there. As it is in the center of the village, it definitely has traffic in the summertime, it’s a top California tourist destination, and with that, comes the traffic :( Thanks for letting me know about the shower, had you let me know during your stay, we would have sent the plumber immediately, we’re always here for our guests! Thank you for staying!

Nice place!

This place is very nice, but there are some aspects that I wish would have been mentioned in the posting. The driveway to enter the property is very steep. I feel like it ended up adding a lot of extra wear and tear on my vehicle that I didn’t really plan for. Also the other side of the driveway is pretty steep also so if you don’t have good knees, you might have some problem with the incline of this entire property. Also in the middle of summer, it gets kind of warm even with all the windows open and the fan going we were averaging 80°. it is also pretty loud staying at this property considering you want to keep all windows open so it doesn’t get stuffy. The vehicles on all sides are driving by at all hours of the night. Loud trucks and motorcycles at all hours. Aside from these two aspects, the property was just as described, very clean and pretty comfortable. Central location to the beach and shops which is what made it so appealing.

Quality but slightly underkept

Property was in a great location and overall cleanly. However we walked in to spiderwebs in many places and the laundry room door was covered in spider webs and spiders
