If you are looking for a unique experience this is a must try. We had 4 in our party and had plenty of room. The accommodations were exactly as described, rooms clean and AC worked well. We will rent again in the future.

The containers were super clean and the A/C kept it very cool. We loved the outdoor shower and the bathroom was kept very clean. Although we only cooked one breakfast, we found all the equipment we needed including a mini-grill and a coffee pot. Whatever we forgot was something we could buy on an honor system and we got our own shelf in the fridge. The birds were amazing, darts and frisbees were fun to have, loved the access to free snorkel stuff, and we really liked our host!

Beautiful stay

Overall great property only semi complaint which is more needy than anything is the tent will get a bit stuffy and hot when the fans die.

Thanks for your stay! Yes anytime before May 1st the humidity/heat isn't bad. We have 2 battery fans and a bigger plug in fan in the tent. I do recommend the small upgrade to our two container rooms with air conditioning for anyone that wants to stay in the summer months as the AC is definitely worth the few $ extra. Thanks again and glad you enjoyed this side of St John!

Thoughtful to have bug swatters, dart boards, honor system drinks/snacks, sunscreen/bug spray. Couches/chairs/hammocks decks were great and Frisbee golf hole/discs!

East end retreat

We found this to be very laid back, friendly and accommodating. It had all we needed to live simply, cook our own meals, and have quick access to the less populated beaches. It’s like a well-run hostel with a small number of units so that it never felt crowded. Loved our stay.

Great Property

Great island camping experience! Loved the gathering area to hang out at while we cooked our breakfast and dinners and loved our hikes to Salt Pond. The fans kept us cool during the nights and we even had some deer visit us while we we eating a few times. Great place if you like to camp!

Perfect for our one night stopover in St. John

Bill was a great host. Worked well for us. Nice little common kitchen area. It rained the night we were there - no leaks. Highly recommend!

Great Glamping Experience!

Clean, Neat and Organized. Parking was great!I would highly recommend this facility. Would definitely stay again. Bring your own groceries and having a car is a must. Very close to the Ram Head walking trail, blue pebble beach and salt pond for snorkeling.

Great experience!

We had so much fun staying in the yurt! Amazing community spaces—so clean and tidy—and personable hosts and other guests. They have thought of everything, great personal touches. Definitely recommend for you or families.

If you want a unique and wonderful experience, stay here! Bill was great with communication and always had helpful information. The stars at night can’t be beat, and it was a hidden gem away from the crowds, but still near hiking trails and beaches! Great spot to see the south side of the island!

Modern Rustic

My friends and I had a great time, being away from everything and close to some amazing quiet beaches on Saint John was amazing. The basic needs were met and helped us enjoy our island hopping trip from Saint Croix

Lovely place!

We loved this place. Quiet, away from crowds and tourists. Hosts were friendly. If you are expecting luxurious accomodations, this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy simple, rustic camping you will love this place! Yurt had real beds so no need to cart all your camping gear to St John's.

Peaceful and quiet

I loved my stay at the Lameshur Cottage and Campsite! The host was very kind and messaged me back quickly if I needed help. My favorite part was the outdoor kitchen and shower. I even seen deer on the property ! I will definitely be back.

Family Camping

Perfect spot for our little get away to St. John. Just needed one night. Pleasantly surprised with the amenities. Everything we needed and more. Great hosts, always answered my questions. They were very accommodating when I need to use another tent. I would and hope to stay there again.

Great glamping!

The outdoor shower was our favorite part of the site! Bill and Emily have thought of everything. Between the cooking supplies, beach chairs, comfy furniture, and fresh water, our stay was lovely. They even have bug spray and citronella candles because of the pesky no-see-ums. Thanks so much!

Remote Stay Near Beach & Trails

Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much. We walked to the beach and did the Ram head trail. The owners have beach chairs, snorkeling items and floats. This location is in the more remote part of the island which we wanted to get away from noise and hussle. The owners are very nice! The tents and yurt have battery fans to keep cool while sleeping. The kitchen hangout area was our favorite with darts and swinging game.
