Hosts were quick to respond. Nice condo, conveniently located in Eagle River.

While we are always quite quick to respond and our house is located in Eagle River, I can only assume this review was meant for another space, since our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath standalone house with a large deck and private fenced yard, it is not a condo. :)

What a perfect and comfy place. There were six adults and we all slept comfortably. Everyone had a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire each night and watching TV. I would highly recommend this place. We really wanted to use the hot tub but never got a chance with all of our other sight seeing. Very nice and clean property and a great location in Eagle River.

We enjoyed our time at the house. Our kids loved the hot tub (as did we). A beautiful and quiet subdivision, and so wonderfully close to the main street in Eagle River! Beds were comfy and having the amenities of our home made our visit relaxing. The home owner was very responsive and kind to all inquiries we had. Thank you so much!!

Perfect Peaceful Retreat

Everything was clean, well maintained and welcoming. It was a wonderful visit, with beautiful views of the mountains!

This house was an amazingly peaceful part of our trip. We really appreciated a smooth check in and check out. It was in a great neighborhood and a nice break from chaotic anchorage. I highly recommend this rental for any family.

What a beautiful home and community , awesome location ass well. The house was perfect for the whole family with plenty of space Inside and out. I would highly recommend this spot and if we have the chance we will we back

this place was quaint and clean and in a good neighborhood. close to stores and shopping. cooking supplies were good for our family. enjoyed the hot tub and fire place !

Alaskan Family Summer Vacation

My wife and I plus our four adult kids stayed here. We loved the property and enjoyed the hot tub each night. We used this as our homebase as we did day trips each direction from Eagle River. I would highly recommend. Everything with the property went as we had hoped.

Great property north of Anchorage. Everything was as pictured and the host communication was great. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of five adults. We didn't use the hot tub, but did enjoy sitting on the spacious deck. Close to a Walmart for groceries. We very much enjoyed our time at this cozy home.

Great stay in Eagle River

We used to live in Eagle River and my mom moved away 8 years ago so was coming back for high school reunion but wanted to stay in Eagle River, not Anchorage so my mom could see her friends since she wasn’t driving. House was perfect and location was great. We had a wonderful return trip to where I grew up and a lot had to do with the accommodations. Thank you to Shanna.

Perfect for our group

The home is exactly as described. It is clean and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with the basics. The host is extremely responsive and gives easy and clear instructions. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the lovely back porch with hot tub and grill. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable spot

The property was fantastic for two small families to share! The kitchen was well equipped and we felt comfortable with the kids playing in the yard and love the large deck! Only reason this was a four-star for us was that it appears bedrooms are still coming. A little bit of finishing work done. There's a lot of holes in the walls from old wall hangings that just haven't been patched yet. It didn't impact or stay at all negatively. Just would have made the place look a little nicer. Loved it would stay again!

All three bedrooms in this home are complete, well appointed, comfortable, and cozy, so I don't understand your comments stating that our bedrooms are "still coming?" Perhaps you don't understand how very important reviews are to VRBO hosts, and I'm bewildered that you would lower your rating for a few nail holes in the walls or paint touch ups that they could use, when you say you loved it otherwise, and it didn't impact your stay negatively. We overlooked you having many extra visitors (not allowed per our rental agreement) without permission, someone in your group broke a cabinet handle off of a kitchen cabinet, and you left the water level in the hot tub so low that it risked damaging the filtration system (likely due to the many extra guests using it). How unfortunate.

Beautiful home

My mother and I came up and stayed here. My mother is not very mobile so this single floor home worker perfectly. We couldn't ask for much more! The back yard is large and the deck is beautiful. Unfortunately, we were too busy to utilize the hot tub, but we utilized everything else. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay

Everything went well. Couldn’t find trash box for the outside. Took trash with me which wasn’t a problem. Suggestion to give thicker blankets for bedrooms in winter months. Other than that overall enjoyed the stay. Plan on staying there for next years bowling tournament

Home was perfect for our Alaska fun. Beautiful home in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Great outdoor space and grill. Generous supply of necessities. We really appreciate how easy the host made our stay from preparation and pre-check in to our departure. Absolutely would stay here again!
