Beautifully decorated cottage in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Centrally located between downtown Charleston (7 miles) and the beaches of Sullivan's Island (3 miles) and Isle of Palms (7 miles). Within walking distance to the many restaurants and bars on Shem Creek and beautiful historic homes in the Old Village. This cottage features 2 bedrooms (Queen) and 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, family room (with sleeper sofa). This house was perfect for our family of five. It's just a short drive to Charleston and the surrounding area, very convenient. Quiet neighborhood with a grocery store and plenty of shops/restaurants nearby. The AC works great. Very comfortable beds. We loved our stay and agreed it's the best rental we've stayed in!

Great location to Shem Creek area and Charleston! Sheets and towels were high quality, my wife wants to buy that brand now. Keurig in kitchen was great. AC worked almost too good - very comfortable indeed in the summer heat. Quiet street. Great backyard was very private.

This place is fantastic! I would gladly stay here again.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. The house was exactly as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed for a great stay. I honestly have no criticisms—it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Great location, great amenities. Perfect spot just over the bridge to avoid all the headaches involved with staying downtown. Would definitely stay again.

This house was extremely clean and was in an excellent location. I took wonderful walks each morning and ate at the many nearby restaurants.I will definitely stay at this house again. I could not have asked for a better place.

The house was super cute. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The host had all of the kitchen supplies we needed, and the linens were well stocked. We can’t stress enough the cleanliness of the cottage and the thought that the host put into anticipating guest's needs. Although we didn't use it, the yard had a fire pit and outdoor seating in a couple of areas of the yard. The host was so accommodating and answered all of my questions quickly. If we go back to Charleston, we will definitely book it again!

The host was amazing and responded quickly! Perfect location!!! Shem Creek was only a walk away for fun restaurants, a beautiful park to observe wildlife and dolphins in the creek. Several dining options near by, Coastal Crust was amazing along with the coffee stand across the street. Downtown Charleston was super convenient and easy drive. The house had everything you'll ever need and was incredibly clean. The backyard was amazing and a added bonus.

The house is exceptional clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable! The back yard is very nice. The owners responded to any questions we had very quickly. It is a safe nice neighborhood, great for children. It is very close to Shem's Creek and Sullivan's island beach. Go to station 21 for great bech access. Only minutes to Charleston. Everything we needed. I give it a #5 on VRBO ratings. I would definitely stay here again.

The property had all the space that we needed for our week stay with another couple. We really enjoyed the main level sitting area, the lower level sitting area, as well as the lovely outdoor patio. The Weber gas grill worked great. It was an extremely quiet neighborhood, but wasn't far at all to get to the sights and restaurants to which we wanted to go. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had all the features one would want. It was a great stay. Jonathon was very prompt and helpful regarding any inquires we had.

Location perfect for exploring Charleston and close by to great restaurants and wonderful beaches. Loved our morning walks to Shem Creek where I could photograph pelicans in action!!

Shem Creek Cottage

This cottage is a beautiful and comfortable home in a great location! The backyard was a great bonus - tranquil, fenced, and well-landscaped with multiple seating areas. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and areas to walk; additionally, it is extremely convenient to downtown Charleston!.
